Satu Suro dan Songkran: Makna Simbolik dan Religius Tahun Baru dalam Perspektif Budaya Jawa dan Thailand
Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan tahun baru pada satu Suro di masyarakat Jawa dan tahun baru Songkran pada masyarakat Thailand. Bagi masyarakat Jawa satu Suro merupakan tahun baru di kalender Jawa yang diterbitkan Sultan Agung sedangkan Songkran merupakan tahun baru bagi masyarakat Thailand yang berlangsung pada 13 – 15 April. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori religi dan teori simbol. Hasilnya, satu Suro bagi masyarakat Jawa bukan hanya sebagai pergantian tahun melainkan sebagai momen untuk intropeksi diri, melakukan doa bersama, dan menyajikan nasi tumpeng. Songkran yang merupakan pergantian tahun bagi masyarakat Thailand dilaksanakan dengan khidmat seperti meminta ampun dan restu kepada orang tua, menyiram air ke patung Buddha, melepaskan burung atau ikan, dan perang air. Berdasarkan teori religi, kedua perayaan ini memiliki dimensi keagamaan yang kuat: satu Suro bersumber dari akulturasi Islam dan budaya Jawa, sedangkan Songkran berakar pada ajaran Buddha Theravada. Sementara itu, dari teori simbol, satu Suro menonjolkan simbol nasi tumpeng sebagai representasi doa dan kebersamaan, sedangkan Songkran menggunakan air sebagai simbol penyucian dan kebahagiaan. Kedua tradisi memperlihatkan bahwa ritual tahun baru tidak sekadar pergantian waktu, melainkan sarana pembaruan spiritual dan sosial yang memperkuat kohesi masyarakat.

SLR Study: Plastic Waste Recycling Innovation as a Science Learning Medium in Elementary Schools
Learning innovation based on plastic waste recycling is a relevant contextual approach to improve science learning while instilling environmental awareness in elementary schools. This study aims to systematically analyze the types of learning innovations, media forms, impacts, and challenges of implementing plastic waste recycling as a science learning medium in elementary schools. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of national scientific articles published between 2019 and 2025. Literature searches were conducted through Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, and SINTA databases with relevant keywords. Selected articles were analyzed using thematic analysis and synthesized descriptively-qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that learning innovations include innovative learning media, interactive media, STEAM-based projects, P5 thematic learning, and collaborative activities based on sustainable education. The resulting media include ecobricks, educational board games, literacy trees, lapbooks, and creative products from used plastic. The implementation of these innovations positively impacts students' understanding of science concepts, learning outcomes, scientific literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. However, challenges remain in teacher preparedness, limited time and resources, and a lack of understanding of the economic aspects of recycled products. This study's findings confirm that using recycled plastic waste can be an effective and sustainable medium for science learning in elementary schools when supported by adequate planning and guidance
Peran Desain Sampul dan Persepsi Harga dalam Membentuk Keputusan Pembelian Buku di Gramedia Solo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran desain sampul buku dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian melalui persepsi harga sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya elemen visual dalam mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen, khususnya pada produk buku yang sangat mengandalkan kesan pertama. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuesioner, dengan jumlah responden 140 konsumen yang pernah membeli buku di Gramedia Area Solo Raya. Analisa data dilakukan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desai sampul berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan persepsi harga. Selain itu, persepsi harga juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian serta berperan sebagai variabel mediasi parsial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa desain sampul yang menarik mampu meningkatkan persepsi nilai produk dan mendorong keputusan pembelian
Pengaruh Social Media Influencer dan Persepsi Kualitas Produk terhadap Minat Beli dengan Kepercayaan Merek sebagai Variabel Moderator
The rapid development of the cosmetics industry and the increase in social media users have encouraged companies to utilize influencers as a marketing strategy. This study aims to analyze social media influencer and product quality perceptions on the purchase intention of Hanasui product with brand trust as a moderator. This study uses a quantitative approach by conducting a questionnaire ti 146 respondents. The result show that social media influencer and product quality perceptions have a pocitif and significant effect on putchase intention. Bbrand trust was found to moderate the relationship between social media influencer and purchase intentions with a weak effect, while teh relationship between product quality perceptons and purchase intention didn’t show significant effect. The result empharuze the important of influencer stratef=gy management and strengthening brand trsut in increasing customer purchase intention
DOOM SPENDING AMONG GENERATION Z: AN ANALYSIS OF IMPULSIVE BUYING BEHAVIOR ON E-COMMERCE PLATFORMS
The development of digital technology and the rapid use of e-commerce platforms have driven changes in consumption behavior, especially among Generation Z. One of the emerging phenomena is doom spending, which refers to consumption driven by emotional pressure or stress. This study aims to examine the effect of hedonic shopping motivation, social influence, and perceived ease of use of e-commerce platforms on impulsive buying among Generation Z. This research employed a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique, involving 269 respondents. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3. The findings indicate that hedonic shopping motivation and social influence exert a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, whereas perceived ease of use does not significantly affect impulsive buying behavior. These results highlight that emotional gratification and social pressures are the primary triggers of impulsive buying among Generation Z rather than the perceived simplicity of the platform. This study contributes to the growing discourse on digital consumer behavior by providing empirical evidence on the drivers of doom spending in the Indonesian Gen Z context, offering insights that can inform e-commerce platform strategies and consumer well-being intervention
Jual Beli Emas Secara Kredit pada Produk BSI Cicil Emas Perspektif Maqasid Syari'ah
Non-cash gold transactions such as the BSI Gold Installment product have gained increasing popularity as an accessible form of gold investment. Nevertheless, installment-based gold trading raises fiqh concerns, as gold is classified as a ribawi commodity that should be exchanged on a spot basis (yadan bi yadin). This study aims to examine the compliance of the BSI Gold Installment scheme with Maqasid Shariah. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, this study relies on secondary data derived from official BSI product documents, Islamic jurisprudence literature on gold transactions, and relevant DSN-MUI fatwas. The data were analyzed through qualitative data reduction and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of a murabahah contract in the BSI Gold Installment product is generally permissible in non-cash gold transactions. From a Maqasid Shariah perspective, this product supports hifz al-mal (the preservation of wealth) by facilitating access to gold investment. However, this objective requires transparency in pricing, prior ownership of the gold by the bank before resale, and clear delivery mechanisms to avoid gharar and ensure full compliance with Shariah principles
Peran Layanan Manasik Umrah Eksklusif Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Ibadah Jamaah Di Sahelia Umrah Dan Hajj Surabaya
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran layanan manasik umrah eksklusif yang diselenggarakan oleh Sahelia Umrah dan Hajj Surabaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas ibadah jamaah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program manasik umrah eksklusif Sahelia dilaksanakan melalui tahapan yang terstruktur, mulai dari manasik teknis berbasis online hingga pembinaan intensif secara langsung satu hari sebelum keberangkatan. Sahelia menerapkan lima aspek kualitas pelayanan yaitu reliability, responsiveness, confidence, empathy, dan tangible yang berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman, kesiapan mental, serta kekhusyukan ibadah jamaah. Faktor pendukung layanan meliputi manajemen yang baik, fasilitas memadai, dan profesionalitas pembimbing. Adapun faktor penghambat mencakup perbedaan tingkat pemahaman jamaah dan ketidakdisiplinan dalam mengikuti jadwal manasik
Dinamika Psikologis Dakwah dalam Membentuk Kesadaran Religius Santri
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kontribusi psikologi dakwah melalui pendekatan emosional, kognitif, dan perilaku dalam membentuk kesadaran religius santri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus di Pondok Pesantren Al-Husna Kajeksan, Kudus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pengasuh, ustadz, dan santri, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) integrasi ketiga pendekatan psikologi dakwah menciptakan internalisasi nilai religius yang komprehensif; (2) interaksi edukatif yang konsisten, keteladanan, dan regulasi institusional menjadi faktor pendorong utama; (3) tantangan berasal dari variasi motivasi intrinsik santri dan pengaruh eksternal. Simpulan, psikologi dakwah berperan sentral dalam transformasi kesadaran religius, dengan interaksi edukatif sebagai kunci keefektifannya. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan literasi psikologi dakwah di lingkungan pesantren
DIGITAL RELIGION AND SHIFTING RELIGIOUS AUTHORITY: UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE'S BEHAVIOUR IN ACCESSING ISLAMIC WEBSITES
Islamic websites are one form of new media that has attracted the attention of the Muslim community in Indonesia in the last few decades. Islamic websites contain Islamic beliefs, values, and traditions that are needed by people in the digital era. Therefore, this study aims to measure and map internet access behavior, especially access to Islamic websites in the Jabodetabek area and Surabaya City. This study uses a quantitative approach, collecting data through face-to-face interviews with 401 respondents. The results of this study indicate that regarding internet usage behavior, 40.2% of respondents fall into the Addicted User category, and 59.6% fall into the Medium User and Heavy User categories. The Islamic News Site is considered the most influential, trusted, and complete Islamic news media. Then, the National Islamic News, Islamic Trends, and Prayer columns are the three most commonly accessed columns by respondents on almost all Islamic websites
Criminal Law in Muslim-Majority Countries: Balancing Sharia, Human Rights, and Global Standards
This study examines the harmonization of Islamic law (shariah) with international human rights standards, focusing specifically on criminal law in Muslim-majority countries. It investigates critical themes such as gender rights, religious freedom, and the administration of criminal justice through analytical and comparative methodologies. Central to the discussion is the application of maqasid al-syariah(objectives of Islamic law) as a dynamic framework to reinterpret Shariah in ways that align with global human rights norms. The findings underscore that while significant challenges persist, several Muslim-majority countries are embracing legal reforms inspired by maqasid al-syariah, particularly in areas like gender-sensitive laws and criminal justice reforms. Education and awareness campaigns emerge as pivotal for fostering a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between Shariah and human rights among scholars, policymakers, and the general public. The study emphasizes the importance of sustained dialogue between religious scholars, human rights advocates, and legal practitioners. It further recommends government initiatives to institutionalize legal reforms, integrate human rights education into national curricula, and establish frameworks for ongoing interfaith and intercultural discourse. Ultimately, the research concludes that harmonizing Shariah with global human rights standards is both feasible and essential. Achieving this balance will require collaborative efforts from all stakeholders to establish legal systems that uphold Islamic principles while ensuring the protection of individual rights. Such efforts not only enhance justice within Muslim-majority countries but also reinforce the universal applicability of Islamic values in a diverse and pluralistic global society
