AI e Educazione Speciale: un’analisi qualitativa situata delle percezioni professionali
No full textIl rapido sviluppo e l'uso diffuso dell'intelligenza artificiale (IA) sollevano questioni sempre più rilevanti nel campo della Pedagogia Speciale. Sebbene l'IA offra opportunità per l'apprendimento personalizzato (Zohuri & Mossavar‐Rahman, 2024) e l'implementazione di pratiche inclusive (Saborío‐Taylor & Rojas‐Ramírez, 2024), la sua applicazione introduce preoccupazioni circa la sua efficacia, l'etica del suo utilizzo e la preparazione dei professionisti dell'istruzione (Batchelor & Petersen, 2019; Galindo‐Domínguez et al., 2024). Questo studio presenta un'indagine qualitativa sulle percezioni dei tecnici dell'apprendimento e degli insegnanti riguardo all'uso dell'IA in contesti scolastici ed extrascolastici. Attraverso un questionario pre‐post somministratoall'interno del TDA Labs: Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence in Education, lo studio esplora l'efficacia del laboratorio nel promuovere l'alfabetizzazione all'IA. Analizza l'evoluzione delle percezioni dei partecipanti riguardo all'integrazione dell'IA nelle strategie didattiche e al suo potenziale come strumento di supporto all'apprendimento per studenti con disabilità, disturbi dell'apprendimento e altri bisogni educativi speciali.The rapid development and widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) raise increasingly relevant questions within the field of Special Pedagogy. Although AI offers opportunities for personalized learning (Zohuri & Mossavar‐Rahman, 2024) and the implementation of inclusive practices (Saborío‐Taylor & Rojas‐Ramírez, 2024), its application raises concerns about its effectiveness, the ethics of its use, and the preparation of education professionals (Batchelor & Petersen, 2019; Galindo‐Domínguez et al., 2024). This study presents a qualitative investigation into the perceptions of Learning Technicians and teachers regarding the use of AI in school and extracurricular contexts. Through a pre‐post questionnaire administered within the TDA Labs: Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence in Education, the study explores the effectiveness of the lab in fostering AI Literacy. It analyzes the evolution of participants’ perceptions concerning the integration of AI into teaching strategies and its potential as a learning support tool for students with disabilities, learning disorders, and other special educational needs
Valutazione dell'impatto dei carichi da tornado sui ponti
No full textCatastrophic instances like the 2011 Joplin tornado in the United States have amplified concerns over tornado-induced damages worldwide. Europe, particularly Italy’s northeastern regions, have also witnessed significant tornado activity. Despite these threats, current structural design standards, specifically the Eurocodes, fail to incorporate tornado load considerations in their verifications at limit states. To address this gap, the study applies tornado loads to a steel-concrete bridge deck model, and evaluates its response to various tornado intensities classified by the Enhanced Fujita (EF) scale from EF0 to EF5. Results from the study reveal the need to revise current design standards to include tornado load considerations, thereby enhancing the resilience of civil infrastructure against the increasing threat of extreme weather events and ensuring the safety and structural integrity of bridges
The space-based solar power systems: state of the art and implications
No full textIn the past decade, research and experimental projects for the widespread use of space solar power have been resumed with considerable vigour. All major “space” countries (beginning from the U.S., which had abandoned this topic around the mid-1970s) have ongoing projects more or less advanced on space solar power. The major push toward this new form of energy comes from the gradual abandonment of carbon-fossil energy sources as well as the recent energy crisis that has affected many Western countries. This article reconstructs an analytical research of the “state of the art” of the various experimentation projects underway. It makes an analysis of the potential economic and political impact that may be generated already in the coming years by access to this power source that presents many interesting characteristics and opportunities

I primi paragrafi esaminano lo scenario internazionale relativo alle ricerche sui fenomeni di violenza contro le donne con disabilità. Gli ultimi paragrafi esplorano traiettorie di ricerca e formazione per lo sviluppo di pratiche educative verso percorsi di emancipazion
