FPGA Implementation of Automatic Irrigation and Pesticide Control System
In many parts of the world rainfalls are inadequate to meet agricultural needs of farmers. It thus becomes imperative to use an irrigation system that meets the moisture needs of plants in order to increase food crop production. The system described here monitors the moisture and pesticide control needs of crops. Irrigation control is monitored through suitable moisture sensors and automatically pumps water when the need arises through FPGA control logic thus requiring minimal human interventions. We can also use this system for liquid pesticide supply through the selection. Thus, we achieve the efficient supply of water and pesticide as needed by plants and conserve quantity, energy and time. In this paper, the proposed system is designed using Verilog and implemented on FPGA. The system operation is also explained in DSCH (Digital Schematic) software. The system is very simple to operate and ideally suits the irrigation and pesticide need for green houses as well as farms
VLSI Design and Comparison of DA and LMS Based Reconfigurable FIR Filter
Here, we exhibit the design optimization of one- and two-dimensional fully-pipelined computing structures for area-delay-power-efficient implementation of finite impulse response (FIR) filter by systolic decomposition of distributed arithmetic (DA)-based inner-product computation. This plan is found to offer a flexible choice of the address length of the look-up-tables (LUT) for DA-based computation to determine suitable area-time trade-off. It is seen that by using smaller address-lengths for DA-based computing units, it is possible to decrease the memory-size but on the other side that leads to increase of adder complexity and the latency. For efficient DA-based realization of FIR filters of different orders, the flexible linear systolic design is implemented on a Xilinx Virtex-E XCV2000E FPGA using a hybrid combination of Handel-C and parameterizable VHDL cores. Various key performance metrics such as number of slices, maximum usable frequency, dynamic power consumption, energy density and energy throughput are estimated for different filter orders and address-lengths. Obtained results on analysis shows that performance metrics of the proposed implementation is broadly in line with theoretical expectations. We have seen that the choice of address-length M=4 gives the best of area-delay power-efficient realizations of the FIR filter for different filter orders. Moreover, the proposed FPGA implementation is found to involve significantly less area-delay complexity compared with the existing DA-based implementations of FIR filter
An Automated Way of Baking Process for Moisture Sensitive Components
The objective of my project is to the new technology termed as “baking process” to remove the moisture content available in the particular electronics devices which is used in Rea time industrial application. In Industries there are certain policies are maintained for semiconductor devices, which referred as “Shelf life” of the material. Once it crossed its lifetime, some process need to done to extend this. Depends on the moisture sensitive characteristics baking is employed mainly to shelf life extension. The Baking is the process of removing of moisture content from particular semiconductor device in order to effective usage in the production line. In my propose method the moisture content is measured by corresponding moisture sensor. If it is normal level the processor goes to the normal state, If it is reaches the abnormal level (presence of moisture) the processor baked the product. Temperature and humidity sensors are effectively monitor and provide the signal to the processor. The UTLP kit provide the information about the status of the product
Analysis of Different Ways of Crosstalk Measurement in GSM Network
Crosstalk is one of the problems that affect the performance operation of global system mobile (GSM) network. Among the effect of crosstalk are call mute, call drop, wire propagation delay, dynamic power dissipation etc. Crosstalk is an undesirable signal arising due to the coupling capacitances between adjacent interconnecting wires and measured in decibel. In this paper some literature were reviewed and different ways of measuring crosstalk such as Near end croosstalk (NEXT), far end crosstalk (FEXT), Power sum crosstalk (PSNEXT) and alien crosstalk (AXT) were analyzed.

Hardware Implementation of Intrusion Detection System for Ad-Hoc Network
New technologies have been developed in wireless adhoc network need more security. To widespread the adhoc networks we turn in the attention of wireless hand held device mobile phones communicate with short distance using wireless lan card or Bluetooth. The performance of mobile phone are improved greatly for last few years .so security is more important for mobile networks In this paper hardware implementation of single hop ad-hoc network is implemented and analysed using microcontroller. The protocol implemented in this paper is primarily based on, Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector routing. We adopt On Demand Distance Vector routing solely based on source routing and “On Demand” process, so each packet does not have to transmit any periodic routing information. We implemented intrusion detection system with five different nodes and the performance parameters like packet delivery ratio, throughput, delay are computed with attacker and without attacker and on demand distance vector routing protocols is proposed to implement in hardware using Zigbe
A Gracefully Degrading and Energy-Efficient FPGA Programming using LabVIEW
Programming of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) have long been the domain of engineers with VHDL or Verilog expertise. FPGA’s have caught the attention of algorithm developers and communication researchers, who want to use FPGAs to instantiate systems or implement DSP algorithms. These efforts however, are often stifled by the complexities of programming FPGAs. RTL programming in either VHDL or Verilog is generally not a high level of abstraction needed to represent the world of signal flow graphs and complex signal processing algorithms. Survey on Performance and Energy consumption of Fault Tolerance in Network on Chip
Network on Chip (NoC) is a communication subsystem, which has the logic for sending and receiving the data from different sources in a single IC, is adopting the technology of VLSI making it to be as compact as possible. However, the increasing probability of failures in NoC’s has been raising concern among the researchers due to large scale integration of components. In specific the issues of fault-tolerance, increase in length of global wires of NoC has to be addressed for on chip and multi core architectures. This survey presents a perspective on existing NoC Fault-tolerant algorithm and a Corresponding distributed fault analysis strategy that encourages in observing the fault status of individual NoC components and their adjacent communication links. The analysis of the Fault-tolerant Network subjected to dynamic workloads for large scale applications is also equally important.
