Critical analysis of Life Skills among Secondary School Pupils
Education provides the life skills needed for a person's social and moral development to flourish. Getting an education in a pleasant environment can be considered as the right of the students. If heart, head and hands are synchronized learning can be joyful. A happy heart is the soul of creativity. A student should be an entertainer, facilitator, and motivator and instructed to make learning fun. Life skills are essential for the students to develop this personality. Under the aspect of personality they can analyze their attitude, aptitudes, interests, abilities and so on. The knowledge of life skills enhances the social behavior of the students and also promotes social adjustment and understanding. A simple random sample of 50 secondary school pupils from Visakha Patnam District, Andhra Pradesh. Asper results From the tables 1and 2 it may be inferred that the sample of secondary school pupils have average level of Life Skills. 18% of the secondary school pupils have low level of Life Skills. 33% of the secondary school pupils have average level of Life Skills. Only 16 % of the secondary school pupils have high level Life Skills. The variable gender doesn‟t play a significant role on the Life Skills of secondary school pupils. The variable area doesn‟t play a significant role on the Life Skills of secondary school pupils.
 
In Silico study using Toxtree (TT) Cramer decision tree scheme for different Isomers of Resmethrin -a Type-I Synthetic Pyrethroid
Synthetic pyrethroids are widely used in household, public places and agriculture as insecticides but have harmful effect on human and the environment. The Cramer classification scheme (decision tree) is the best-known approach to estimate the Threshold of Toxicological Concern for a chemical substance based on its chemical structure. In present article we have used In silico tool Toxtree to get the Cramer class for isomers of Resmethrin. The stereochemical relationships and toxicologic and environmental effects are also discussed
Improvements in data transfer rates and energy efficiency through opportunistic relaying in residential power networks
In this research, we look at the feasibility of using half-duplex time-division relay protocols to enhance residential power line communication (PLC) networks in terms of data transfer rate, power consumption, and network reach. We consider a network in which source and destination nodes communicate using an opportunistic protocol in which the relay is used whenever possible in preference to direct transmission either (a) to improve the achievable rate subject to a power spectral density (PSD) mask constraint or (b) to reduce the power consumption subject to both the PSD mask and the rate target constraint. We look at both ODF and OAF, or opportunistic decode and forward and opportunistic amplify and forward. We presume that multi-carrier modulation is being used at the physical layer. To optimize the attainable rate or decrease the total transmitted power for both ODF and OAF, we determine the best resource allocation, meaning the optimal power and time slot allocation, between the source and the relay nodes under these conditions. We demonstrate that the combination issue of power and time slot allocation of DF is particularly difficult to solve, making it difficult to execute the power minimization challenge of ODF. For this reason, we offer a simpler approach that splits the original issue into two convex sub-problems. We demonstrate its near-optimal performance via numerical experiments. Finally, because over home PLC networks the relay can only be placed in outlets, in the main panel, or in derivation boxes, we also study the effect of relay position on performance for each opportunistic protocol. The employment of a statistically representative simulator allows for the utilization of both measured and simulated channel responses in the generation of results. They demonstrate how the placement of the relay and the scale of the network affect the achievable throughput and energy savings. Teaching Methodology for Virtual Reality Practical Course in Engineering Education
Increase in usage of electronic communication tools (email, IM, Skype, etc.) in enterprise environments has created new attack vectors for social engineers. Billions of people are now using elec- tronic equipment in their everyday workflow which means billions of potential victims of Social Engineering (SE) attacks. Human is considered the weakest link in cybersecurity chain and breaking this defense is nowadays the most accessible route for malicious internal and external users. While several methods of protection have already been proposed and applied, none of these focuses on chat-based SE attacks while at the same time automation in the field is still missing. Social engineering is a complex phenomenon that requires interdisciplinary research combining technology, psy- chology, and linguistics. Attackers treat human personality traits as vulnerabilities and use the language as their weapon to deceive, persuade and finally manipulate the victims as they wish. Hence, a holistic approach is required to build a reliable SE attack recogni- tion system. In this paper we present the current state-of-the-art on SE attack recognition systems, we dissect a SE attack to rec- ognize the different stages, forms, and attributes and isolate the critical enablers that can influence a SE attack to work. Finally, wepresent our approach for an automated recognition system for chat-based SE attacks that is based on Personality Recognition, Influence Recognition, Deception Recognition, Speech Act and Chat History
Decoding the Geo-Political and Economic Dimensions of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Navigating the Road Ahead
Given the profound historical and cultural link between the two countries, it is hard to fathom the Soviet Empire functioning independently of Ukraine even as recently as a few decades ago. The continuing confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, which began in February of this year, has had far-reaching consequences. Russian officials said their country had to launch the invasion to stop the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) from expanding its territory to the east. The many aspects of conflict are attempted to be explored in the essay. In addition to the all-consuming energy crisis, food insecurity has been a problem in many regions of the world. Alternative energy sources are being sought after due to the oil embargo and the subsequent energy crisis. Institutional frameworks are chaotic, and the global order is changing all the time. What about a new rights order based on rules? Could it happen in the future? Big powers and their displays of power aren't always enough to alter the world. Is the moment coming when the middle powers intervene to change things up? As the world's geopolitical landscape continues to evolve, we look forward to see whether India can continue to play a leading role in international affairs and help shape the future of global power dynamics.
 
Graphical Exploratory Data Analysis (GEDA): A Case Study on Employee Attrition
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) popularly performs some preliminary investigations on the dataset to understand its content and structure. EDA is a mandatory step in the complete process of data analysis, since its mandatory to analyze the data in order to produce good results and in turn help in decision making. There are several Graphical EDA techniques which not only analyze the data but also present the results in graphical form. This paper uses the Python programming language for both data analysis and visualization of results. The rich set of python libraries including pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn etc greatly supports the process of GEDA. This paper works on the “Employee Performance and Attrition” dataset to analyze and extract potential information and present results in graphical form.
 
PERCEIVING MENTAL AILMENTS IN SOCIAL MEDIA THROUGH EMOTIONAL PATTERNS THE CASE OF ANOREXIA
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in four people will be affected by mental disorders at some point in their lives. However, in many parts of the world, patients do not actively seek professional diagnosis because of stigma attached to mental illness, ignorance of mental health and its associated symptoms. In this paper, we propose a model for passively detecting mental disorders using conversations on Reddit. Specifically, we focus on a subset of mental disorders that are characterized by distinct emotional patterns (henceforth called emotional disorders): major depressive, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Through passive (i.e., unprompted) detection, we can encourage patients to seek diagnosis and treatment for mental disorders. Our proposed model is different from other work in this area in that our model is based entirely on the emotional states, and the transition between these states of users on Reddit, whereas prior work is typically based on contentbased representations (e.g., n-grams, language model embeddings, etc). We show that content-based representation is affected by domain and topic bias and thus does not generalize, while our model, on the other hand, suppresses topic- specific information and thus generalizes well across different topics and times. We conduct experiments on our model’s ability to detect different emotional disorders and on the

Implementation of Lightweight Encryption for Real Time Multimedia System using Discrete Wavelet Transforms
A discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is any wavelet transform for which the wavelets are discretely sampled. As with other wavelet transforms, a key advantage it has over Fourier transforms is temporal resolution as it captures both frequency and location information. DWT filter provides a high compression ratio and image reconstruction quality so as to serve the end user requirements. Some other desired features include low hardware cost, low power requirements and high throughput of the system. The purposed DWT introduces a zero-overhead encryption and authentication scheme for real time embedded multimedia systems. The parameterized construction of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) compression block is used to introduce a free parameter in the design
 
Teaching Teamwork in Engineering and Computer Science
—For a hundred years, there has been no change in the basic structure of the electrical power grid. Experiences have shown that the hierarchical, centrally-controlled grid of the twentieth century is ill-suited to the needs of the twenty-first. To address the challenges of the existing power grid, the new concept of smart grid has emerged. The smart grid can be considered as amodern electric power grid infrastructure for enhanced efficiencyand reliability through automated control, high power converters,modern communications infrastructure, sensing and meteringtechnologies, and modern energy management techniques based on the optimization of demand, energy and network availability, and so on. While current power systems are based on a solid information and communication infrastructure, the new smart grid needs a different and much more complex one, as its dimension is much larger. This paper addresses critical issueson smart grid technologies primarily in terms of information and communication technology (ICT) issues and opportunities. The main objective of this paper is to provide a contemporary look at the current state of the art in smart grid communications as well as to discuss the still-open research issues in this field. It is expected that this paper will provide a better understanding of the technologies, potential advantages and research challenges of the smart grid and provoke interest among the research community to further explore this promising research area
Examining Cloud Computing's Data Security Problems and Solutions: Authentication and Access Control (AAC)
Cloud computing has transformed data and application management, providing unprecedented flexibility and scalability. However, this move raises additional security concerns, particularly in terms of authentication and access control (AAC). This research investigates data security issues in cloud computing, with an emphasis on effective AAC strategies for reducing security threats. We examine the state of AAC in cloud computing, including approaches such as multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and attribute-based access control. Data security issues such as multi-tenancy, data transfer over the internet, and regulatory compliance are investigated. AAC technological breakthroughs such as biometric identification, blockchain- based access management, and machine learning-driven anomaly detection are examined in terms of their ability to improve data security in cloud systems. Even if cloud computing is being adopted at a rapid pace, there is still a large knowledge gap on suitable AAC solutions. In order to close this gap, this work carefully analyzes AAC in cloud computing, identifies challenges, and suggests innovative AAC techniques that enhance data security. Through a comprehensive analysis of literature, case studies, and technology evaluation, we provide practical suggestions that companies may implement to enhance their data security posture when using cloud computing. By offering thorough analysis and useful advice for handling data security issues in cloud computing environments, this study adds to the body of knowledge on cloud security in academia
