Up on these findings this study concludes that there is a need to direct an exemplary of the cases that consume a proper balanced diet so as to be an example to others who could see that malnutrition disorder is not shaped by cultural taboos and moral world but are shaped by the feeding habits of their children
A PSYCHOLINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE ANXIETY IN L2 ORAL PRODUCTION
Foreign language anxiety (FLA) is a common affective factor that can significantly impair learners’ oral performance in second language (L2) classrooms. This study, grounded in Levelt’s speech production model, Baddeley’s working memory theory, and Attentional Control Theory, investigates how anxiety disrupts the cognitive and psycholinguistic processes involved in idea generation, lexical formulation, and articulation. Drawing on authentic classroom observations, the findings show that FLA causes cascading disruptions across speech processing stages, ultimately hindering fluency, coherence, and clarity. To mitigate these effects, the study proposes psycholinguistically informed pedagogical strategies, including pre-task planning, formulaic language scaffolding, and attention-regulation techniques, aimed at reducing cognitive overload and improving oral output. This research deepens understanding of the mechanisms underlying L2 speech anxiety and offers practical implications for anxiety-reducing instruction in communicative language classrooms
THE IMPACT OF DEEP SOCIAL, CULTURAL, AND POLITICAL STRUCTURES ON THE STABILITY OF DEMOCRACY IN ISRAEL
This article examines the impact of Israel’s deep social, cultural, and political structures on the stability of its democracy. The central claim is that Israel’s current political and constitutional crisis cannot be understood solely through short-term developments—such as repeated elections, unstable coalitions, or judicial reform—but must be analyzed in light of the long-standing contradictions embedded in the state’s identity. To frame this analysis, the article draws on the metaphor of the “three-body problem” from chaos theory, which describes a system that cannot reach equilibrium when pulled by three competing forces.
The article identifies three main centers of gravity: Israel as a Jewish nation-state, Israel as a liberal democracy, and the rise of identity politics. These forces clash constantly: the Jewish national component emphasizes collective belonging and religious tradition; the liberal democratic component prioritizes individual rights, equality, and the rule of law; while identity politics fragments society into competing groups demanding separate recognition.
The analysis shows that the interplay of these elements produces structural instability, weakens democratic institutions, and prevents long-term equilibrium. The conclusion is that as long as these three centers coexist without resolution, Israeli democracy will remain fragile and subject to ongoing erosion
AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE FACTORS INFLUENCING BRAND IMAGE TOWARD PURCHASE INTENTION OF COSMETICS PRODUCTS
This study investigates the factors influencing brand image and its subsequent effect on purchase intention within the Vietnamese cosmetics industry. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) based on data from 254 respondents, the research examines the roles of promotion, product quality, trend and industry influence, brand reputation, design and packaging, and recommendation and review. The results reveal that product quality, trend and industry influence, and brand reputation significantly and positively impact brand image. In turn, brand image exerts a strong influence on purchase intention. However, promotion, design and packaging, and recommendation and review were found to have no significant effect on brand image. These findings suggest that Vietnamese cosmetic brands should prioritize product excellence, align with market trends, and enhance brand reputation to strengthen consumer perceptions and drive purchase decisions. The study offers practical implications for cosmetic companies seeking to compete more effectively in a rapidly growing and competitive market
DE/CONSTRUCTING GENDER: THE LEGEND OF WEYZA-GOUNGOU, THE PRINCE/SS. A WOMANIST ANALYSIS OF BOUBOU HAMA’ S LA PRINCESSE ET LA JUMENT - L’AVENTURE DE WEYZA- GOUNGOU - (THE PRINCESS AND THE MARE - THE ADVENTURE OF WEYZA GOUNGOU)
In many parts of the African continent, oral art is still highly valued for various reasons. Among such reasons, there is the fact that it plays a significant role in the lives of people, historically, culturally, and socially. This verbal art interestingly embodies the values which still make the identities of African people. For any given community, the different genres of the art convey the values assigned to men and women. In other words, they inform people about the construction of masculinity and femininity.
In the present article, we shall use one legend, La Princesse et la Jument - L’aventure de Weyza-Goungou, to analyze gender issues in the Songhay-Zarma community of Niger. The article, entitled, De/constructing Gender: The Legend of Weyza-Goungou, the Prince/ss. A Womanist Analysis of Boubou Hama’ s La Princesse et la Jument - L’aventure de Weyza- Goungou, aims at showing how the apparently overt patriarchal Songhay-Zarma culture, has a womanist dimension. The analysis of the story also demonstrates the dual task of revealing the construction of gender in the culture and how gender can be deconstructed through a womanist reading of the legend
REPRESENTATIONS OF LEFT-BEHIND CHILDREN IN CHINESE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE NEWS MEDIA: A CORPUS-ASSISTED DISCOURSE ANALYSIS
Due to China\u27s urbanisation and rapid development in the last forty years since its reform and opening policy, many people have migrated from rural to urban areas. Unfortunately, one of the by-products of this process is a phenomenon known in English as Left-behind children (in Chinese, 留守儿童or liúshǒuértóng). Essentially, these are children under 18 who have stayed in their rural homes and were raised by their grandparents or other relatives when one or both of their parents migrate to urban areas for economic activities for half a year or longer (Cheng & Sun, 2015). Limited research has been conducted on the linguistic representations of left-behind children and how this particular group is presented to international society. To fill this gap, the present study applies a corpus-assisted discourse analysis approach, specifically collocational network analysis and keyword analysis, to examine how the group of left-behind children is represented in Chinese English-language news media and also contributes to the growing literature on how Chinese minority groups are represented to the outside world.
The findings reveal that these media describe the Chinese government\u27s efforts in handling the left-behind children problem but overlook the most critical reason that causes it: the strict Chinese Household Register or, in Chinese: hùkǒu (户口) system

The research utilized a structured questionnaire administered to 228 staff members in managerial positions or higher at the Ikoyi, Lagos office, with 189 completed responses. Descriptive statistics were employed to analyze the demographic data, while correlation analysis was used to assess the relationships between leadership practices, management practices, technological innovations, and revenue generation. The results reveal that leadership practices have a significant positive effect on revenue generation, with management practices contributing to enhanced tax collection efficiency. Furthermore, technological innovations significantly improve operational processes and tax compliance, leading to higher revenue. Based on these findings, the study recommends that FIRS implement continuous leadership training focused on change management, adopt performance metrics to guide management practices, and further invest in technology to optimize tax collection and increase revenue generation
THE IMPACT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAINING, MOTIVATION, ON PERFORMANCE WITH PRODUCTIVITY AS A MODERATING VARIABLE
This study aims to determine and analyze how the influence of Work Environment (X1), Training (X2) and Motivation (X3) on Employee Performance (Y) with Work Productivity (Y) as a Moderating variable in the company PT Baja Perkasa. The sample is the entire population of the production department, totalling 310 people. The analysis used in this study includes checking validity and reliability (confirmatory fact analysis), testing measurement models between variables (path analysis), and structural model analysis. The effect of training on employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.288 p value 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the results of the study also showed that motivation did not have a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient value of -0.018 p value 0.399 < 0.05. Furthermore, the results showed a positive influence on employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.155 p value 0.011 >0.05. Furthermore, the training results also showed that the variable of work productivity did not moderate the influence of motivation on employee performance with a coefficient value of -0.131 p value 0.054 < 0.05. Then the results of work productivity research that moderated the effect of motivation on employee performance were not proven to be moderate with a coefficient value of 0.138 p value 0.093 > 0.05. Furthermore, the results of work productivity research that moderate the influence of the Work Environment on employee performance are not proven to be moderate with a coefficient value of -0.027 p value 0.388 >0.05. The results showed that training and motivation had a positive effect on employee performance, but training, motivation and work environment when moderated by work productivity had no effect. This shows that companies should pay more attention to forms of training, motivation and work environments that can support work productivity and improve employee performance
