This research examines the impact of Sharia principles on economic stability, focusing on Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Padang Ulak Karang. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 35 employees through total sampling and analyzed using Smart PLS. The study identifies Sharia compliance and risk management as independent variables, with financial performance serving as an intervening variable, and economic stability as the dependent variable. The results indicate that both Prohibition of Riba and Profit and Loss Sharing System significantly influence Sharia compliance, which positively affects financial performance and economic stability. Furthermore, operational risk contributes significantly to risk management, enhancing financial performance and, subsequently, economic stability. Conversely, liquidity risk was found to have no significant effect on financial performance through risk management. These findings highlight the importance of Sharia compliance and effective risk management practices in promoting financial performance and ensuring economic stability within the Islamic banking sector. The study offers insights for banking practitioners and policymakers aiming to foster sustainable growth in the Islamic finance industry

The study underscores the importance of effective branding and innovative marketing strategies in promoting sustainable tourism development, providing valuable insights for stakeholders aiming to enhance destination appeal and drive growth in the tourism sector

The Dual Nature of Stress at Work: A Challenge-Hindrance Framework Perspective

This study presents a systematic literature review of 27 peer-reviewed articles published between 2013 and 2023 to critically examine the relevance and adaptability of the Challenge-Hindrance Stressor Framework (CHSF) in contemporary organizational settings. The findings reveal that while the CHSF continues to offer foundational insights into how workplace stressors influence employee outcomes, its dichotomous classification often fails to capture the contextual, perceptual, and dynamic complexities of real-world stress experiences. Factors such as leadership style, organizational justice, cultural norms, and digital transformation significantly mediate the appraisal and impact of stressors. Moreover, individual resilience and coping mechanisms emerged as crucial moderators that influence whether stressors are perceived as challenges or hindrances. The review calls for a reconceptualization of CHSF into a more integrative and fluid model that accommodates multidimensional stressor interactions and evolving work environments. This updated perspective provides a stronger theoretical and practical foundation for future research and organizational interventions aimed at improving employee well-being and performance

Towards Digital and Efficient MSMEs: The Case of GusMie at Pasar Kayu Jati Rawamangun

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia often struggle with operational inefficiencies due to manual processes, impacting their growth and competitiveness. GusMie, a noodle and meatball eatery known for its fresh, preservative-free noodles, faces challenges in order duplication, slow financial reconciliation, kitchen workflow bottlenecks, stock mismanagement, and delivery delays. This study proposes integrating a POS system, Kitchen Display System (KDS), and automated inventory management to optimize GusMie's operations. These solutions will ensure more precise tracking of customer orders, improve financial accuracy, streamline kitchen sequencing—especially for its high-demand mie ayam—and enhance stock control to prevent waste of fresh noodles with limited shelf life. Using a case study approach, findings demonstrate that digital transformation significantly improves service speed, order accuracy, stock efficiency, and customer satisfaction, helping GusMie scale sustainably within Indonesia’s competitive food service industry

Optimizing Early-Stage Drug Discovery through Project Management: Evaluating the Strategic Value of Early Project Manager Assignments in the Pharmaceutical Sector

The effectiveness of pharmaceutical research and development increasingly relies on aligning scientific innovation with structured operational management. This study examines the strategic impact of assigning project managers (PMs) during the early stages of drug discovery, particularly in the pre-lead optimization (pre-LO) phase. Employing a mixed-methods design that combines semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and quantitative surveys, the research compares key performance indicators between pre-LO and post-lead optimization (post-LO) teams. Quantitative and qualitative findings demonstrate that the absence of dedicated PMs in early discovery results in fragmented communication, unclear role expectations, and weak cross-functional coordination. In contrast, post-LO teams with PM involvement report higher levels of goal alignment, structured decision-making, and operational clarity. Statistical and thematic analyses reveal that PM competencies in communication, facilitation, and strategic alignment are more influential on project success than technical or scientific expertise. The study proposes a conceptual framework emphasizing the early integration of project management practices to enhance collaboration, mitigate risks, and streamline transitions from discovery to development. These insights offer both theoretical contributions to pharmaceutical project governance and practical recommendations for improving R&D productivity through early-phase project leadership
