    Potensi Penerapan VANET Untuk Pengembangan Smart City di Kota Ternate

    Abstrak-- Pengembangan Internet of Things (IoT) telah menjadi fokus penelitian selama beberapa tahun terakhir dan diperkirakan akan terus berkembang di masa depan. Komunikasi antar perangkat juga sedang dikembangkan seperti teknologi Vehicle Ad-hoc Network (VANET) memungkinkan pertukaran informasi antar kendaraan, namun memiliki karakteristik unik seperti mobilitas tinggi antar node, topologi yang sangat dinamis, tingkat kehilangan data yang cukup signifikan, dan durasi komunikasi antar node yang relatif singkat. Disamping itu, dengan meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan di kota, hal ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan sistem komunikasi di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan peluang sistem komunikasi antar kendaraan pada daerah perkotaan, menjadikan VANET sebagai pilihan utama untuk penerapan. Simulasi dilakukan dengan memodelkan kondisi jalan yang dinamis dan mobilitas kendaraan yang tinggi, serta mengukur parameter utama seperti tingkat penerimaan paket, dan tingkat kehilangan paket. Empat protokol digunakan dengan parameter tingkat penerimaan dan jumlah paket yang diterima, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa protokol dengan kinerja terbaik secara berurutan adalah DSR, AODV, DSDV, dan OLSR. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi sebagai salah satu konsep smart city dalam pengembangan kota di masa depan.Pengembangan IoT menjadi fokus penelitian dari beberapa tahun lalu dan dipandang akan terus berkembang sampai di masa yang akan datang. Komunikasi antar perangkat juga sedang dikembangkan seperti pada Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET). Seperti halnya MANET, teknologi VANET memungkinkan pertukaran informasi antar node yang berfokus pada kendaraan, tetapi VANET mempunyai karakteristik tersendiri seperti mobilitas antar node yang tinggi, topologi yang sangat dinamis, loss ratenya cukup signifikan, dan kemungkinan komunikasi antar node tidak lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai perancangan sistem komunikasi antar kendaraaan, sehingga VANET menjadi salah satu pilihan terbaik untuk diterapkan. Ada empat protokol yang digunakan dengan parameter receive rate dan packets received yang diukur, hasilnya menunjukan protokol dengan kinerja paling baik berturut-turut adalah DSR, AODV, DSDV, dan OLSR. Tidak hanya kendaraan umum di jalan raya, kendaraan umum di laut atau kapal penumpang yang cukup banyak, dinilai berpeluang untuk diintegrasikan dengan konsep sistem VANET secara umum. Dengan demikian, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi sebagai salah satu konsep smart city dalam pengembangan kota kedepannya

    ANALISIS KINERJA BETON DENGAN AGREGAT HALUS PS BALL DI AIR LAUT

    This study aims to determine the performance of concrete using the residual of steelmaking materials (Precious Slag Ball) as a partial substitution of fine aggregate. In this study, the test object was made with a water–cement ratio of 0.3 and using Precious Slag Ball’s proportions of 0%, 15%, 30% and 45% to the weight of fine aggregate. The test object was then immersed in sea water obtained from the estuary area. The fresh concrete test consists of slump test, initial setting time, and unit weight of fresh concrete. The hardened concrete test consists of unit weight of hardened concrete, compressive strength, and splitting tensile strength. In the 45% Precious Slag Ball variation, the use of Precious Slag Ball in concrete increases the maximum slump workability up to 32.25% and the unit weight value of fresh concrete up to 5.98%. In the setting time test, the fastest setting time is 261 minutes from the 15% Precious Slag Ball variation. In the hardened concrete test, the use of Precious Slag Ball increased the unit weight value of hardened concrete up to 4.94% at a variation of 45% Precious Slag Ball. The greatest value of concrete compressive strength test using 30% of the Precious Slag Ball as a substitution of fine aggregate variation found at the age of 3, 7, 14 and 28 days. The use of Precious Slag Ball is proven able to increase the compressive strength and tensile strength as the concrete tensile strength increases up to 7.12% at a variation of 30% Precious Slag Ball.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kinerja beton dengan penggunaan sisa bahan pembuatan baja (Precious Slag Ball) sebagai substitusi parsial agregat halus. Pada penelitian ini benda uji dibuat dengan perbandingan air semen 0,3, penggunaan Precious Slag Ball kadar 0%, 15%, 30% dan 45% dari berat agregat halus. Benda uji kemudian direndam dalam air laut yang diperoleh dari daerah muara. Uji beton segar meliputi uji slump, waktu ikat awal, dan berat isi beton segar. Pengujian beton keras meliputi berat isi beton keras, kuat tekan, dan kuat tarik belah. Penggunaan Precious Slag Ball pada beton meningkatkan nilai slump maksimum sebesar 32,25% pada variasi Precious Slag Ball 45%, dan meningkatkan nilai berat satuan beton segar hingga 5,98% pada variasi kadar Precious Slag Ball 45%. Pada pengujian setting time, beton dengan variasi Precious Slag Ball 15% mempunyai setting time tercepat yaitu 261 menit. Pada pengujian beton keras, penggunaan Precious Slag Ball meningkatkan nilai berat isi beton sebesar 4,94% pada variasi 45% Precious Slag Ball. Uji kuat tekan beton dengan penggunaan Precious Slag Ball sebagai substitusi agregat halus pada variasi 30% pada umur 3, 7, 14 dan 28 hari mempunyai nilai paling besar. Penggunaan Precious Slag Ball dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan dan kuat tarik beton. Kuat tarik beton meningkat sebesar 7,12% pada penggunaan Precious Slag Ball sebesar 30%

    PEMBERHENTIAN PENGECORAN BETON UNTUK PEKERJAAN KONSTRUKSI LENTUR BERDASARKAN SNI 2847-2019

    The presence of construction joints is an inevitable aspect of field concrete casting. These joints occur when fresh concrete is poured over hardened concrete, which can impact the strength and integrity of the concrete structure. This study aims to evaluate the placement of concrete joints according to SNI 2847-2019, which recommends placing them at one-third of the span of the beam. Testing was conducted on unreinforced concrete beams with two different joint locations. The concrete used had a water-cement ratio (w/c) of 0.5 and a maximum aggregate size of 25 mm, with the mix design following SNI 7656-2012. The test results indicate that joints placed at one-third of the span exhibit better flexural strength compared to those located at the span's ends. The average flexural strengths of beams without joints, those with joints at one-third of the span, and those with joints at one-third of the end span are 1.95 MPa, 1.56 MPa, and 0.98 MPa, respectively. These findings support the SNI 2847-2019 recommendation for placing concrete joints at one-third of the span of the beam

    Sebagian besar sistem teknik mengalami kegagalan yang membuat sistem tidak dapat beroperasi,  kegagalan yang tidak terduga dapat menyebabkan banyak kerugian.  Sangatlah penting untuk menerapkan strategi perawatan yang efektif untuk memastikan ketersediaan system dan proses perawatan harus dilakukan sesuai dengan sistem yang digunakan agar kegagalan dapat dihindari. Pada penelitian ini objek yang akan diidentifikasi kerusakan yaitu pada Air Handling Unit G4 dengan mengidentifikasi menggunakan metode Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) pada Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)  Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan komponen v-belt pada motor blower yang sering mengalami kerusakan dengan nilai RPN sebesar 56. Komponen v-belt merupakan komponen yang harus diprioritaskan dalam perawatan, maka dihitung menggunakan distribusi eksponensial dan didapati hasil nilai rata-rata reliability 0,51 dan nilai rata-rata failureability 0,49 yang berarti kerusakan v-belt masih dalam keandalan yang cukup baik namun harus disertai dengan perawatan yang lebih baik juga. Nilai availability tertinggi pada 92% dan terendah 37% bisa disebabkan saat waktu perbaikan dilakukan dengan cepat maupun lambat serta suku cadang yang tersedia, ini membuktikan ketersediaan suku cadang masih dalam keadaan baikMost engineering systems experience failures that render the system inoperable, unexpected failures can cause a lot of losses. It is important to implement an effective maintenance strategy to ensure the availability of the system and the maintenance process must be carried out in accordance with the system used so that failure can be avoided. In this study, the object to be identified is damage to the Air Handling Unit G4 by identifying using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). From the calculation results, it was found that the v-belt component on the blower motor was often damaged with an RPN value of 56. The v-belt component is a component that must be prioritized in maintenance, so it is calculated using an exponential distribution and the results are found to have an average reliability value of 0.51 and an average failureability value of 0.49 which means that v-belt damage is still in fairly good reliability but must be accompanied by better maintenance as well. The highest availability value at 92% and the lowest 37% can be caused when the repair time is done quickly or slowly and the spare parts are available, this proves that the availability of spare parts is still in good conditio

    Proses pengelasan ialah metode penyambungan dua atau lebih material logam dengan menggunakan panas atau tekanan. Tujuannya adalah untuk menciptakan ikatan yang kuat antara material tersebut sehingga membentuk satu struktur yang padu. Proses ini melibatkan pemanasan material hingga titik lelehnya atau menggunakan tekanan untuk menyatukan mereka, dan sering kali menggunakan bahan tambahan untuk mengisi celah antara material yang akan disambung. Proses pengelasan plat seperti praktik dasar biasa menggunakan manual fixture yaitu pencekam manual yang dipegang oleh tangan dan mencekam plat seperti tang buaya, sehingga dalam hal ini membuat tidak efisien dalam proses pengelasan maka dari itu memerlukan welding fixture atau alat pencekam. Pembuatan cekam ini dilakukan untuk memudahkan ketika proses pengelasan. Welding fixture dibuat seperti clamp dengan memodifikasinya menyesuaikan dengan meja kerjanya, bisa digunakan dalam sudut pengelasan 45o, jarak antar kisi 3mm dan ketebalan kisi 3mm.     UNVEILING STUDENTS' ENGAGING EXPERIENCES WITH WHATSAPP IN ENHANCING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS

    This research aims to investigate the experiences of students in using WhatsApp for English language learning, particularly in the context of speaking. The study was conducted with 34 third-semester students from the STIPARY Tourism Academy of Yogyakarta. A mixed-method approach was employed, wherein the researcher utilized a questionnaire to gather quantitative data. Additionally, qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 9 randomly selected students and observations during the use of WhatsApp in speaking lessons. The students' experiences with WhatsApp were assessed over 3 months. The questionnaire underwent validity and reliability testing, focusing on the student's learning experiences in speaking from three aspects: linguistic (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and fluency), psychological (motivation and self-confidence), and environmental (flexible learning, collaborative learning, access to learning materials, and challenges related to negative reactions from the surrounding environment during speaking practice). Data analysis results indicated that students perceived positive experiences regarding the use of WhatsApp in speaking, addressing the aforementioned aspects.     ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL MARKETING: SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AS AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE MARKETING METHODS FOR BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY IN MSMES IN CILODONG DISTRICT

    Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have made a huge contribution to the nation's economic condition. Digital marketing has brought about world changes, especially in the business world. Some of the issues faced by MSMEs today are in the product marketing process, from several marketing methods that must be maximized because of their huge benefits. This study aims to determine the influence of distance targeting, behavior targeting and content marketing on social media marketing performance and its influence on Business Sustainability in Cilodong District. The research method used is the survey method, using a questionnaire instrument distributed to 50 MSMEs as the target of the research. The determination of the sample in this study uses non-probability sampling, specifically for MSMEs that have used social media marketing. The data analysis process uses SPSS 26 software. The data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis to provide a test for the relationship between hypotheses. The results of the determination coefficient show that digital content, distance targeting, and behavior marketing have a positive effect on social media marketing performance, and social media marketing has a positive effect on Business Sustainability. This research is expected to be able for MSME actors to determine the media in the product marketing process.     Developments in Abrasive Water Jet Machining of Nonmetals

    Abrasive water jet machining (AWJM) is known for precise cutting of metals and nonmetals. In the past few years, this machining technology has undergone some important developments which possibly enhanced its capability and extended its applications. This article presents such important developments and related attempts on AWJM made by researchers in the recent past. The scope covers AWJM of important nonmetallic materials like rock, glass, rubber, composites and ceramics etc. The important developments have been in the form of utilizing abrasives like sugar particles, glass beads, ice particles, bone powder; water-less abrasive jet machining; process optimization; and acoustic emission monitoring etc. that enhanced the capability of the AWJM process towards cost reduction, quality enhancement, and sustainability. The article intends to amass such important information related to the recent developments in AWJM for nonmetal cutting and aims to facilitate scholars and researchers with this new knowledge

    Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Turnover Karyawan (sales) di PT Setiajaya Mobilindo

    PT Setiajaya Mobilindo, a company in the automotive industry operating under Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), specializes in selling Toyota vehicles. This study explores the impact of work motivation and workload on employee turnover at PT Setiajaya Mobilindo. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, the study surveyed 70 former sales employees of the company. Data analysis was conducted using the Smart PLS method. The findings reveal that the statistical value for work motivation is 2.301, which exceeds the t-table value of 1.96, with a p-value of 0.021, indicating significance below the 0.05 threshold. For the workload variable, the t-statistic is 4.444, surpassing the t-table value of 1.96, and the p-value is 0.000, also below 0.05. The R-Square value of 0.694 indicates that 69.4% of the variance in turnover is explained by work motivation and workload, while the remaining 30.6% is attributed to other factors not covered by this study. Thus, both work motivation and workload significantly affect turnover.PT Setiajaya Mobilindo adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang otomotif yang berada di bawah naungan Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) yang bergerak di bidang penjualan kendaraan Toyota. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak dari motivasi kerja dan beban kerja terhadap perputaran karyawan di PT Setiajaya Mobilindo. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, penelitian ini mensurvei 70 mantan karyawan penjualan di perusahaan tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Smart PLS. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa nilai statistik untuk motivasi kerja adalah 2,301, yang melebihi nilai t-tabel 1,96, dengan nilai p-value 0,021, yang menunjukkan signifikansi di bawah ambang batas 0,05.     The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income. As one of the sources of income, tourism is influenced by the number of tourists. The progress of the tourism sector in an area is highly dependent on the number of tourists who visit. The number of tourists will bring income to the area they visit. This study aims to determine the influence of the number of domestic tourist visits on the original income of Bogor City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. The result of the study is that the number of domestic tourist visits has a significant positive influence on the PAD of Bogor City. The number of domestic tourist visits has a significant influence of 87% on the PAD of Bogor City. One of the government effort is to expand tourism activities such as entertainment, sports, camps, and competitions to increase the number of tourist visits so that it will increase the PAD of Bogor City.The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income.
