Study of Chemical and Mineralogical Composition of Sylvinites of Tubegatan Mine
The study delves into the chemical and mineralogical composition of sylvinites extracted from the Tubegatan mine. Through x-ray analysis of various components, including sylvinite samples and insoluble residues obtained during experimental melting processes, the research investigates the intricate composition of these materials. By scrutinizing the results of the x-ray analysis, the study unveils crucial insights into the chemical makeup and mineralogical properties of the sylvinites. Furthermore, the research scrutinizes the process of melting different samples of sylvinite to elucidate potential variations in composition and behavior under thermal conditions. This comprehensive analysis provides valuable knowledge essential for understanding the characteristics and properties of sylvinites from the Tubegatan mine, contributing to advancements in the field of mineralogy and facilitating informed decision-making in mining and processing operations
Influence of the Composition of the Mixture and the Type of Processed Fibers on the Quality Indicators of Fabrics
This article presents the results of studies to determine the influence of the type of fibers and recycled fibrous waste on the quality indicators of fabric. For this purpose, in production conditions, a sliver with a linear density of 5000 tex was obtained on a JFA-226 carding machine, and in the laboratory of the Department of Spinning Technology, slivers were also obtained in three versions on an HSR-1000 brand draw machine. To obtain twill weave fabric on a Picanol loom, warp threads were mixed with yarn consisting of 100% cotton, and weft thread was mixed with yarn consisting of recycled fibers and the quality parameters of the fabric were examined
Study of the Sensory, Chemical and Nutritional Properties of Cake Fortified with Black Lemon (Dried Lime) Extract
This study aimed to know the chemical properties and evaluate some sensory and biological properties of cake fortified with dry black lemon extract. The study was conducted in the laboratories of the College of Agriculture/Department of Food Sciences/University of Tikrit. Dry black lemons were obtained from local markets in the city of Tikrit. Dry black lemon was obtained from local markets, and the laboratory cake was manufactured according to laboratory specifications. The aqueous and alcoholic extraction of the dry black lemon extract was carried out. The extract compounds were also identified using HPLC technology, and the animal feed of the experimental animals was fortified with dry black lemon extract. The study included four different treatments. The first treatment (A) was the control treatment without addition, the second treatment (A1) was the aqueous extract, the third treatment (A2) was the alcoholic extract, and the fourth treatment (A3) contained the artificial dye. The sensory evaluation results of the laboratory cake showed that treatment A3 was superior in terms of color, appearance, texture, and flavor, while A1 was superior to the other treatments in terms of softness and general acceptability. The results of HPLC diagnosis showed an abundance of b-pinene, y-terpinene and vitamin C compared to other compounds that appeared in relatively small quantities. As for the biological experiment, the results showed significant differences in weight for treatment B compared to control samples, and no significant differences were shown for cholesterol, HDL and LDL
Importance of Construction of Waste Processing Plant
As the global population continues to grow, waste management has emerged as a critical environmental and public health challenge. In Georgia, inadequate waste management infrastructure exacerbates environmental degradation, necessitating the urgent development of modern waste processing facilities. This study addresses the gap in Georgia's waste management practices by assessing public perception of waste processing plants and evaluating the feasibility of their construction.Using a mixed-method approach, this research involved a survey of 120 respondents across various regions of Georgia, combined with a comprehensive literature review and site visits to existing landfills. The survey results reveal that 92.5% of respondents support the construction of waste processing plants, and 84.2% are willing to use products made from recycled materials. These findings indicate a strong public endorsement for sustainable waste management practices. The study also identifies demographic trends, with younger and more educated individuals showing greater support for waste processing initiatives. The findings suggest that there is a significant opportunity to advance Georgia's waste management system by leveraging public support and implementing modern processing facilities. The practical implications of this study are far-reaching, providing valuable insights for policymakers, city planners, and environmental agencies. The data underscores the need for immediate action to construct waste processing plants, which will not only reduce landfill dependency but also contribute to economic development and environmental sustainability. Future research should focus on the economic feasibility of various waste management methods and the long-term environmental impacts of waste processing facilities
