    ROLE OF EMPLOYEE COMPETENCE AND JOB AUTONOMY ON EMPLOYEE INNOVATIVE BEHAVIOR IN THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR IN DELTA STATE

    It has been observed that insufficient attention has been given to the link between employee empowerment proxies and their innovative behavior, especially in the oil and gas sector. Drawing on the resource-based view theory, this study explored the influence of two proxies of employee empowerment - employee competence and job autonomy, on innovative behavior. Primary data were collected from one hundred and twenty (120) staff of oil and gas firms in Delta State, while simple regression was employed for data analyses. The study revealed that employee competence and job autonomy have a positive impact on their innovative behavior. The study, therefore, concludes that both employee competence and job autonomy enhance their innovative behavior. The recommendation is that Oil and gas firms in Delta State that are desirous of enhancing innovative behavior of their employees should first increase their psychological empowerment by enhancing their employee competence and job autonomy, which, in turn, can be achieved through appropriate skill and knowledge training

    Equities-Capital Market Performance Modelling (ECMP) in Nigeria

    The work examined equities market operations and capital market performance in Nigeria. It covered the periods 1990 to 2021. Equities market operations were captured by equities market capitalization (ecap), number of listed equities (nole), number of traded equities (note) and value of traded equities (vote). The performance of the capital market on the other hand was encapsulated using market capitalization of the entire market. Data on these variables were obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) statistical bulletins. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach to cointegration analysis technique aided by the e-views software was used to analyze the data. The result of the study revealed the existence of long-run relationship between equities market operations and performance of the capital market. This led to the conclusion that equities market operations influences capital market performance in Nigeria. Therefore, it was recommended that there is need for increased awareness on the activities of the equities market in Nigeria, promotion of market transparency, confidence in the system and regulatory stability for improved efficiency and effectiveness

    The Role of Oil Industry in The Socioeconomic Status in Iraq

    This research is aimed at clarefying the role of oil industries in supporting the socioeconomical life in Iraq. The oil industry plays a vital role in the socioeconomic fabric of oil-producing countries like Iraq, where its dominance in the economy is driven by oil exports and associated industries. This study spotted the light on the influence of the oil industry on Iraq's socioeconomic landscape, specifically its impact on unemployment, poverty, education, and health sectors. By analyzing the data collected from reputable sources, such as the World Bank and official government reports, spanning the period from 2003 to 2021, this research conducted a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between the proportion of the oil industry in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and its effects on these key indicators. The findings of this study is presenting the overall analysis of the role of oil industry in enhancing the socioeconomic life in Iraq, and preparing valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in making informed decisions, promoting sustainable economic growth, and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people of Iraq

    In the article, great attention is paid to the multifaceted and complex process of developing all types of speech activity of elementary school students, as it is necessary for the integral formation of the personality, formation of values   and worldview, establishing relationships with other people and learning the ability to interact, self–awareness and realization in various spheres of social activity largely depends on the fluency and mastery of the mother tongue. The study confirmed that the formation of speech competence of elementary school students is based on perception, multiplication, elementary analysis, composition and editing of statements of different styles and genres in oral and written forms. Therefore, the linguistic foundations of such activities in speech development classes are the main concepts and categories that primary school teachers should know. The author singles out the most effective of them in the formation of speech competence of elementary school students and gives a theoretical justification. They are: text, text informativeness, text theme, main idea, key words, text coherence and consistency, semantic and structural completeness, discreteness, text structure, text linearity and modality
