Analysis of Indonesia’s Car Exports During Vehicle Electrification in Export Destination Countries 2016-2022
The concern for low-emission economic activities has made many countries electrify vehicles as a step to reduce CO2 emissions. The share of electric vehicle (EV) sales in the world continues to increase exponentially, accompanied by a decrease in the average price of EVs in the world. This is feared to threaten Indonesia's car exports, which are dominated by the internal combustion engine (ICE) type. This study aims to analyze the competitive advantage position of Indonesia's car exports as well as the factors affecting Indonesia's car exports in the country with the largest EV share. The research methods used are export products dynamics (EPD) analysis and unbalanced panel regression analysis. The independent variables used are Indonesia's car export prices, GDP per capita of destination countries, average EV prices of destination countries, revealed comparative advantages (RCA) values, and dummy free trade agreements (FTAs). The dependent variable used is the export value of Indonesia's cars with HS code 8703. The results of the study using EPD show that most of Indonesia's car exports in destination countries are in a less expected position, namely falling stars. The results of the regression analysis show that car export prices and EV prices in destination countries have a significant negative effect. GDP per capita and RCA have a significant positive effect, while FTA has no effect

The Impact of Revenue from Treasury Looting on The Economic Performance of Nigeria
This study investigates the intricate relationship between revenue from treasury looting and economic performancein Nigeriafrom 1990 to 2021.The study employs secondary data which were gotten from various sources such as the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin and the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics. The findings of the study reveal several key insights. First, corruption through treasury lootingsignificantly negatively impacts Nigeria's economic growth. Higher perceived corruption levels are associated with lower GDPGR, highlighting the adverse effects of corruption on economic development.Second, the study identifies a positive short-term relationship between the growth rate of reported looted funds (TLFN) and GDPGR. However, this effect may not be sustainable in the long run, raising concerns about the sources and implications of such funds on the economy. The practical implications of these findings underscore the imperative of anti-corruption efforts in Nigeria. Strengthening governance, enhancing transparency, and implementing effective anti-corruption measures are essential for promoting sustainable economic growth. While short-term economic boosts from looted funds may occur, they are not a viable strategy for long-term development and can undermine trust in the economy. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on corruption and economic performance in Nigeria and provides valuable insights for policymakers, stakeholders, and researchers. It emphasizes the need for sustained and comprehensive efforts to combat corruption and foster an environment conducive to economic prosperity in the country

Utilizing Deep Learning Classification Method for the Detection of Potholes
The existence of potholes on the roadways is one of the primary factors that contribute to the occurrence of crashes involving automobiles. In order to find a solution to this issue, a number of different strategies have been explored. Among these methods are the employment of vibration-based sensors, manual reporting to authorities, and laser imaging for the reconstruction of three-dimensional space. The high cost of installation, potential danger during detection, and lack of night vision are just a few of the drawbacks of some of these systems. Researching the feasibility and accuracy of using thermal imaging to the problem of pothole detection is, hence, the goal of this effort. We have collected enough data with pictures of potholes in different weather conditions and used augmentation techniques to it. After this, a novel technique to this problem area that utilises thermal imaging the convolutional neural networks (CNN) method of deep learning was implemented. Also included is a comparison of the researcher's own convolutional neural model to pretrained models. Positive outcomes will follow from this investigation, and it will aid in directing future studies into this novel use of thermal imaging for pothole detection
