Developing English Micro Habits to Support English Language Acquisition in a Pesantren-Based Elementary School MI Unggulan Mambaus Sholihin Blitar
English is not just a language for international communication, but a key tool that connects people, knowledge and opportunities in our interconnected world. Many Indonesians, including students in early education stage, are now faced with the need to master English language for the demands of the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045. Elementary school age is considered a critical period for acquiring a second or foreign language. Framed within a descriptive qualitative method, this research investigated how small but consistent English language practices are developed in students’ daily routine recognized with their unique religious and cultural environment in a pesantren setting to enhance their English proficiency. The data of the study were collected through certain ways including classroom instructions observations, in-depth interviews with the teachers, and documentation of the students learning activities. The analysis focused on describing the implementation strategies and contextual factors that influence the success of micro habit development in an Islamic elementary boarding school. Findings indicates that micro habits-such as greetings, classroom instruction, simple conversations, vocabulary repetition- within a pesantren based elementary school contributes to students’ engagement, vocabulary acquisition, students’ motivation and confidence in using English in simple but authentic context. The integration of pesantren culture and discipline embedded in students’ daily routine also donates valuable implication in promoting early English language acquisition. This research highlights the significant role of fostering micro habits in the development of language proficiency, emphasizing how such habits can serve as a crucial educational strategy for bridging the existing gaps in students' language skills. By integrating these small, consistent practices into their routines, educators can enhance the language acquisition process, ultimately improving the overall language skills of young learners, especially in culturally diverse environments like those found in pesantren schools
Penerapan 3M (Mewarnai, Memotong, dan Menempel) pada Keterampilan Motorik Halus pada Anak Usia Dini di RA Al-Muminun, Kecamatan Wanasalam, Kabupaten Lebak-Banten
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif penerapan 3M terhadap keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak usia dini di RA Al-Muminun Wanasalam, Lebak, Banten. Penelitian ini meneliti penggunaan 3M dalam kegiatan belajar dan dampaknya terhadap perkembangan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak melalui studi literatur dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan 3M memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak-anak usia dini. Aktivitas 3M tidak hanya menghibur anak-anak, tetapi juga membantu meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus mereka dengan cara yang menarik dan mudah dipahami. Anak-anak dapat belajar banyak nilai melalui 3M, seperti kreativitas, kesadaran, kejujuran, kesabaran, harmoni, dan tanggung jawab. Namun, keberhasilan penerapan 3M sangat bergantung pada beberapa faktor, seperti pemilihan warna, alat, dan bahan yang sesuai dengan usia dan perkembangan anak, kemampuan anak dalam melakukan aktivitas 3M selama kegiatan, serta tindak lanjut setelah aktivitas 3M. Improving the Ability to Recognize Numbers through Number Flannel Board Media in Group a Children of PAUD Rois Wali 2, Sukaresmi District
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using flannel boards in improving number recognition skills in children in Group A of the Rois Wali 2 Sukaresmi Early Childhood Education Center. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were children aged 4–5 years who were members of Group A of Rois Wali 2 Sukaresmi Early Childhood Education. The research instruments included observation sheets, field notes, and documentation of learning activities. The results showed that the use of flannel board media significantly improved children's ability to recognize numbers. In the first cycle, most children were able to stick numbers in sequence with the teacher's guidance, while in the second cycle, children were able to match numbers with the number of objects correctly and arrange numbers in sequence. In addition to cognitive abilities, children's learning motivation also increased, as seen from their enthusiasm, focus, and confidence during learning. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that flannel board media is effective in improving number recognition skills while holistically building the learning motivation of early childhood
Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun dalam Pembelajaran Melalui Play Based Learning di PG-TK/RA Surya Asri Sidokepung-Sidoarjo
Konsentrasi adalah Konsentrasi merupakan keterampilan esensial yang perlu dikembangkan pada masa kanak-kanak awal, khususnya pada kelompok usia 3 hingga 4 tahun. Fase perkembangan ini memiliki peran krusial karena sangat memengaruhi keberhasilan belajar anak di masa sekarang dan mendatang. Berdasarkan observasi awal di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) yang menjadi lokasi penelitian, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar anak usia 3–4 tahun mengalami kesulitan dalam memfokuskan perhatian selama proses pembelajaran, yang berdampak pada kemampuan mereka mengikuti instruksi dan menyelesaikan aktivitas yang diberikan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi anak usia 3 hingga 4 tahun dalam proses belajar melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis permainan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi tindakan kelas (PTK), yang terdiri dari empat tahapan utama yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus dengan melibatkan 15 anak usia 3–4 tahun sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi hasil aktivitas anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis permainan dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi anak secara bertahap. Pada siklus pertama, persentase anak yang mampu memfokuskan perhatian mencapai 46,7%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 86,7%. Peningkatan tersebut ditandai dengan kemampuan anak untuk memfokuskan perhatian dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama, mengikuti instruksi dengan lebih baik, serta menyelesaikan aktivitas bermain yang terorganisir sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis permainan merupakan strategi belajar yang efektif untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi anak usia 3 hingga 4 tahun dalam proses belajar. Selain itu, metode ini juga memberikan kesempatan anak untuk belajar dengan menyenangkan dan mengembangkan berbagai aspek perkembangan lainnya secara bersamaan
Design of a Ribāṭ-Based Module Adaptation Model to Strengthen Learners’ Resilience at PKBM Alam Jingga
This study conceptualizes a Ribāṭ-based resilience learning module for Indonesian Islamic education, targeting Fase D (middle school) students at PKBM Alam Jingga. Using a qualitative document-based adaptation method with narrative synthesis, thematic analysis, and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), the study integrated classical Islamic ethical principles with contemporary resilience frameworks. The UCLG Resilience Learning Module I served as the reference for adaptation. Key Ribāṭ principles—moral vigilance (murāqabah), spiritual perseverance (ṣabr), structured routines, self-discipline, and community responsibility—were operationalized through four components: Ribāṭ Awareness, Ribāṭ Disciplinary Practices, Ribāṭ Resilience Competencies, and Ribāṭ Community Engagement. The model fosters psychological, moral, and social resilience via reflective exercises, scenario-based problem solving, and community projects. Findings suggest that Ribāṭ principles enhance ethical reasoning, emotional regulation, spiritual fortitude, and collective responsibility, offering a holistic approach to youth development
Mapping The Evolution of The Literature on Competence and Vocational Education Readiness In The Global Value Chain: A Bibliometric Analysis
Globalization and digital transformation have changed the structure of the global value chain, demanding vocational education to produce graduates with adaptive competencies facing the complexities of Industry 4.0 and sustainability principles. The inequality between the acceleration of technological change and the ability of institutions to update the curriculum creates an urgency for the systematic mapping of knowledge fragmentation in the academic literature. This study maps the evolution of the global literature on the competence and readiness of vocational education to face global value chain challenges. Data was obtained from the Dimensions AI platform for the period 2000–2025 with a focus on English-language documents related to vocational education and SDG 4. Bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer 1.6.18 maps the country-institution collaboration network, thematic trends through keyword co-ocurence, as well as publication density and timeline visualization with a minimum parameter of three keyword occurrences and two institution-state entity collaborations. The results identified three dominant thematic clusters: continuing education, digital transformation, and link-and-match policies, with the dominance of publications from the United States (830) and the United Kingdom (620) and a significant increase of 33.9% by 2025. The research reveals geographical biases in knowledge production and the shift in research focus from conventional curricular aspects towards the integration of digital competencies and sustainability in response to global value chain dynamics. The findings provide an evidence-based intellectual map to identify critical research gaps and design vocational education policies that are inclusive and responsive to the demands of a sustainable global economy
The Role of Mental Focus in Enhancing The Strength of The Attacking Player
This paper was an investigation on the effectiveness of external attentional focus and guided imagery in improving the leg press strength and soccer-specific measures of an attacker on a simulated attacking player where Modeling 20 samples consisted of elite youth forwards/wingers who were aged 18-25 years and exposed to counterbalanced high versus low-focus tests in standard conditions high focus with external cues (drive through target) now coupled with 120-second kinesthetic imagery or low focus with no visualization. Key outcome measures were leg press strength (kg), power output (W), accuracy in the shot (percentage), sprint speed (km/h) and dribble success (percentage). The data was simulated with Monte Carlo (Python/NumPy) calibrated based on attentional focus meta-analyses (ES=0.58) producing a normally distributed measure: strength High M=85kg vs. Low M=75kg; power 450W vs. 400W. Significant improvements were established by paired t-tests by metrics (strength t=3.342, p=0.0034, d=1.18; power t=3.012, p=0.0072; accuracy t=4.244, p=0.0004; dribble t=6.465, p<0.0001). Mean improvement was 14.92% ( SD=4.36) or 8-50kg strength or 40-50W power gains. They were consistent in case of subgroup analysis (samples 1-10, 11-20) (all p<0.05). Focus variance was isolated by negative high-low correlations (-0.155 to -0.221). Results indicate that mental concentration results in medium-high impacts on attacking skills, equivalent to 0.25-0.5 goals/game possibilities. External attention maximizes motor programming of explosive actions supporting the constrained action hypothesis proposed by Wulf. Simulation scope limitations Limitations Future research needs to be physiologically validated (e.g., EMG, HRV). Findings recommend the consideration of short-term imagery fusion in soccer training, strength development without the conditioning aspect

Storytelling Methods and Learning Styles on Early Childhood Speaking Skills
This study aims to analyze the influence of storytelling methods on early childhood speaking ability in several early childhood schools, to analyze the influence of learning style on early childhood speaking ability, and to analyze the influence of storytelling methods and learning styles on early childhood speaking ability. The method in this study uses This type of research uses a quantitative research approach. The design in this study uses a case study design which is a method to collect and analyze data related to a case. The techniques used in data collection include, observation, documentation, questionnaires. The data analysis used was in the form of descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence between storytelling methods on children's learning abilities, there is a positive and significant influence between learning styles on children's learning abilities. Based on the results of the study using the F test, it shows that the storytelling method and learning style simultaneously have a significant influence on the ability of early childhood learning in early childhood schools. As a suggestion for teachers to pay attention to the emotional involvement and active involvement of students, so that the storytelling method applied can encourage students to feel and express their feelings and provide opportunities for students to retell the content of the story in the words of the students
Dampak Teknologi Digital terhadap Perkembangan Kognitif, Sosial, dan Emosional Anak Usia Dini
Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat, khususnya penggunaan gadget, telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan anak usia dini, mencakup aspek kognitif, sosial, bahasa, dan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan anak usia dini dalam aktivitas keseharian di lingkungan panti asuhan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen utama dalam proses pengumpulan dan analisis data. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif serta wawancara informal berupa percakapan ringan agar anak merasa nyaman dan mampu mengekspresikan diri secara alami. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget yang tidak terkontrol berpotensi menurunkan kualitas interaksi sosial anak, menghambat kemampuan komunikasi verbal, serta memunculkan gangguan dalam regulasi emosi, seperti tantrum dan rasa frustrasi ketika penggunaan gadget dibatasi. Anak yang sering menggunakan gadget cenderung lebih memilih aktivitas individual dan menunjukkan respons sosial yang terbatas. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan gadget juga dapat memberikan manfaat positif bagi perkembangan kognitif dan bahasa anak apabila digunakan secara bijak, dengan pemilihan konten edukatif yang sesuai serta adanya pendampingan dari orang dewasa
