Pembelajaran Pendidikan Multikultural pada Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam
Islamic religious education teachers have an obligation to understand and understand multicultural education learning. This is due to the plurality of the Indonesian nation which has strong potential with this diversity, and also has the potential to be weak with this diversity. Of course a strong desire with diversity is a non-negotiable choice. Without mastering multicultural education it seems difficult to manage this diversity into an advantage. On that basis, this study aims to analyze the learning of multicultural education in Islamic religious education study programs, which focus on 3 things namely curriculum, learning strategies and learning evaluation. This research was conducted at STIT Gunung Tua Padang Lawas Utara. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the multicultural education curriculum contains tolerance, ethnoculture and culture, the dangers of anxiety, conflict resolution, democracy, plurality. The learning strategies are problem solving, cognitive moral development and role playing. Evaluation of multicultural learning uses fortopolio, behavioral observation, and attitude analysis
Peran Orang Tua dalam Menanamkan Sikap Disiplin Anak pada Masa New Normal
This study aims to analyze the role of parents in instilling discipline in children in the new normal period at SDN 373 Sikara-Kara II, Natal District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The problem focuses on three things: the role of parents, constraints and solutions. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research informants comprised 15 parents with different educational backgrounds and children aged 7-12 years. The study results show that parents' role in instilling discipline in children during the new normal era is manifested in several ways: making simple rules, accustoming them to an orderly life, and setting an excellent example for children. In practice, parents also experience obstacles such as; limited time for parents to accompany their children and change the habits of children who are not suitable for the better. However, parents have solutions for dealing with these obstacles, such as sharing time between the roles of both parents in instilling discipline in children in the family, giving gifts to children who can carry out the rules that have been made, and establishing communication with teachers. So, cooperation is found in instilling discipline in children both in the family and school environments
Pendidikan Multikultural dalam Bingkai Pemikiran Nasionalis Religius; Komparasi Konsep Abdurrahman Wahid dan Nurcholish Madjid
This study aims to analyze the concept and comparison of the thoughts of Abdurrahman Wahid and Nurcholish Madjid regarding the concept of multicultural education from the perspective of religious nationalist thought. These two figures were chosen because of their popularity and their works as nationalist and religious figures in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods, based on literature study. The data sources consist of two, namely primary which comes from the works of the two figures in terms of its relation to multiculturalism, and secondary which comes from journals or research findings. Abdurrahman Wahid is of the view that in a multicultural context, Islamic education must vary according to each culture. Diverse education does not deviate from the goal, but an effort to achieve educational goals through various ways. Nurholis Madjid is of the view that multiculturalism is not only co-existence but goes further than that, namely pro-existence. The phenomenon of multiculturalism in Islamic education is not only seen as a reality that is only allowed to exist, but is something that must be developed for the good of life
Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada Anak Melalui Metode Bercerita di Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Fazwa Islamic School
This study aims to analyze the application of the storytelling method, its success, and obstacles in instilling religious education in preschool-aged children at the Al-Fazwa Islamic School Education Foundation, Sidodadi Village. This research uses the classroom action research method which consists of two cycles. The results showed that the achievement of children's moral development and religious values in the pre-cycle there were 6 children (40%) in the category of undeveloped abilities, and 3 children (20%) in the category of ability to begin to develop, and 6 children (40%) in the category of ability. develop as expected. In the first cycle, there were 3 (20%) in the category of undeveloped ability, 3 children (20%), in the category of ability to begin to develop, and 9 children (60%) in the category of ability to develop as expected. In cycle II, there were 3 children (20%) in the category of ability to begin to develop and 12 children (18%) in the category of developing as expected. The obstacles faced are the lack of teaching aid facilities, the low ability of teachers, the difficulty of packaging abstract material into concrete, and the lack of parental support
Peran Orang Tua Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Emosional Anak; Analisis Faktor dan Strategi dalam Perspektif Islam
This study aims to analyze the role of parents in improving children's emotional intelligence with a focus on analyzing factors that increase emotional intelligence and strategies to increase emotional intelligence. This research was conducted in Alaspandan Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo. The research method used is qualitative, using a phenomenological approach—the source of data from research informants and library sources. The research informants consisted of two parents and children. At the same time, library sources comprised books, journals and research results. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The study's results revealed that there were two influencing factors, namely internal and external. The research findings revealed that of the two, the internal factor became the most dominant factor, namely the family environment. The interactions and socialization that occur within the family have a dominant influence on the emotional development of children. The strategies used by parents to improve children's emotional intelligence are getting used to interacting with children, developing self-confidence, building child empathy, providing good role models, and controlling children's emotions
Optimalisasi Kinerja Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan
Improving the quality of Islamic religious education is a must, one of which is by optimizing teacher performance. Each educational institution has a different way. For this reason, this study aims to analyze efforts to optimize the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the quality of educators at Budi Agung Medan Private High School. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive study approach. Research informants of Islamic religious education teachers and school principals. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses cycles of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity guarantee techniques use triangulation and member crosscheck. The results showed that optimization was carried out by assigning teachers according to areas of expertise, creating working groups, supervising teachers in administration and training for improvement, giving teacher achievement rewards, building family ties at school. The problems in optimization are the lack of institutional cooperation with partners, the lack of additional training or education, there is a wrong mindset about the limitations of teacher tasks
Mendidik Toleransi Beragama Siswa; Analisis Tentang Efektivitas Layanan Informasi Menggunakan Media Film
This study aims to analyze teacher activities in educating religious students on religious tolerance, which is packaged through information services using film media. In this research, the film used is The Santri film by director Livi Zheng, released in 2019. The research location is in MTs. Insan Cita Medan, with research informants, focused on class VIII. This study uses quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental approach. The research sample was 30 students, determined by purposive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaire to obtain data about information services and consultations to determine student responses to these services. Test the hypothesis made with the Product Moment formulation and for its significance using the t-test. The study results show a significant positive effect of information services using film media on religious tolerance in students VIII MTs. Insan Cita Medan Learning Year 2021/2022 with a correlation index of r-count = 0.7155 > r-table = 0.334 and a significant level of 51.19%. Thus the better the information services provided, the better the changes in the attitude toward religious tolerance of students
Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Perempuan dalam Meningkatkan Kerjasama Guru: Analisis Penerapan Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional
This study aims to analyze the leadership of female school principals to improve teacher cooperation. The focus of the study on the application of the transformational leadership style in terms of its implementation phase. This research was conducted at Al-Huda Islamic Elementary School, for two reasons, namely the principal of the school is a woman and the image of the school is popular and very popular with the community. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data is then analyzed with cycles of data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of transformational leadership in Al-Huda Islamic Elementary School went through two phases namely, first the leader was able to carry himself and fully understand being a personal leader which was implemented through: leader awareness and understanding the epistemology of leadership. Both leaders are able to influence and form cooperation with followers which is implemented through: providing work motivation, effective communication, being able to set an example, stimulate, and establish friendships
Internalisasi Nilai Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Kearifan Lokal: Analisis Praktik Tradisi Ngejalang Kubokh dalam Pembentukan Sikap Sosial dan Religius Masyarakat
This study aims to analyze the practice of the ngejalang kubokh tradition as the formation of social and religious attitudes of the people of Pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang, South Coastal District, West Coast District. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method. Primary data regarding the practice of ngejelang was obtained from research informants, namely traditional leaders, religious leaders, saibatin, village heads and parat pekon, as well as the implementing committee. Secondary data obtained from books, journals, and other relevant sources. The results showed that the internalized values of the ngejalang kubokh tradition were religious values, educational values, social values and cultural values. The Ngejelang tradition is a form of local wisdom presented form a social order that is religious, harmonious, dynamic and socialist which is a form of the culture of people's lives. The execution of running the kubokh is carried out during one Shawwal. Talibun and pahakh as forms of local wisdom which become symbols in the implementation of bitch kubokh which have a sacred essence in them. The people of Pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang interpret the bitch tradition as one of the ways to increase a sense of kinship, maintain friendly ties so as to form social integration between communities
Analisis Pengembangan Kurikulum di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam pada Masa New Normal
This study aims to analyze curriculum development in Islamic educational institutions during the new normal period, focusing on curriculum changes, curriculum development in learning, and curriculum development outcomes. The research was carried out at MIS Elsusi Meldina because the madrasah has changed its curriculum. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. Observations to observe learning activities by teachers and students, interviews to obtain data about the basis and development carried out by madrasa heads, and documentation used to analyze various policy documents related to curriculum development. The study results revealed that the curriculum changes occurred from the 2013 curriculum to the Free Learning Curriculum. The implementation of Islamic education in the new normal era is based on religious and general subjects and contains extracurricular materials with an Islamic education approach. The results achieved by students are mastering two knowledge at once and this development has given a different color from the learning in madrasas in general in the city of Medan
