    Snake and Ladder: Penerapan Media Pembelajaran dalam Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Logika Matematika Anak Usia Dini

    Logical-mathematical intelligence refers to the ability to process numbers, recognize shapes and symbols, and understand calculation concepts. Logical-mathematical intelligence plays a crucial role in daily life; therefore, it must be stimulated to develop optimally. In Group A children aged 4–5 years, the development of logical-mathematical intelligence often faces obstacles, primarily due to the lack of media that effectively stimulates it. To address this issue, the researchers used snake and ladder media as a stimulus for children's logical-mathematical intelligence. The purpose of this study was to improve children's logical-mathematical intelligence through the use of snake and ladder media. This study employed classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects consisted of eight Group A children and one teacher. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques with percentage calculations. The results showed that after the implementation of snake and ladder media, the logical-mathematical intelligence of Group A children increased in each cycle, from 48% to 81%. Indicators of children's intelligence included (1) ability to follow game rules, (2) understanding of forward and backward counting, and (3) ability to count from 1 to 10.Kecerdasan logika matematika yaitu kemampuan dalam mengolah angka, mengenali bentuk, simbol dan konsep hitungan. Kecerdasan logika matematika sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari hari oleh karena itu perlu di stimulus agar bisa berkembang dengan maksimal. Dalam aspek perkembangan kecerdasan logis matematika dikelompok A usia 4-5 tahun masih banyak yang mengalami hambatan dalam belajar dan ini disebabkan karena kurangnya media yang dapat menstimulus kecerdasan logis matematika. Maka untuk itu peneliti memberikan solusi dalam menstimulus kecerdasan logis matematika anak dengan menggunakan media ular tangga. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan logis matematika anak melalui media snake and ladder. Metode riset ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Dengan subjek penelitian anak kelompok A yaitu 8 anak dan satu orang Guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi kemudian dikaji menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus presentase. Hasil riset menunjukan bahwa setelah melakukan refleksi pada peserta didik dengan media snake and ladder, kecerdasan logis matematika pada anak di kelompok A mengalami peningkatan disetiap siklusnya dengan persentase sebesar 48% hingga mencapai 81%. Adapun indikator kecerdasan anak meliputi (1) Anak mampu mengikuti peraturan permainan, (2) Anak mengetahui Konsep Hitung maju dan mundur, (3) Anak mampu berhitung 1-10

    Kemampuan sains pada anak kelompok B1 di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) At-Taqwa masih banyak anak yang kemampuan sainsnya berada pada kategori Mulai Berkembang. Oleh karena itu perlu suatu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sains tersebut melalui kegiatan eksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan sains pada anak kelompok B1 di RA At-Taqwa melalui kegiatan eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Tindakan kelas merupakan suatu siklus yang berkesinambungan dengan Subjek penelitian berjumlah 17 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dengan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rumus persentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan sains anak pada tahapan prasiklus yakni 44,5% dengan kategori Mulai Berkembang. kemudian mendapatkan hasil di siklus 1, kemampuan sains pada anak meningkat sekitar 59,7% dengan kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Kemudian setelah mendapat tindakan siklus 2, kemampuan sains anak mencapai 73,2% dengan kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan eksperimen sangat perlu diterapkan di lembaga RA At-Taqwa disamping kegiaran tanya jawab dan bercakap-cakap yang diterapkan sebelumnya sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan yang saling mendukung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sains pada anak. The science ability of group B1 children at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) At-Taqwa is still in the category of Beginning to Develop. Therefore, we need to try to enhance these science abilities through experimental activities. This study aims to determine the increase in science abilities in group B1 children at RA At-Taqwa through experimental activities. The method used is classroom action research. Classroom action is a continuous cycle with 17 children as research subjects. The data collection technique uses observation techniques with quantitative descriptive data analysis with a percentage formula. The results of the data analysis show that children's science abilities at the pre-cycle stage are 44.5% with the category Beginning to Develop. Then get the results in cycle 1: children's science abilities increase by around 59.7%, with the category developing according to expectations. Then, after receiving cycle 2 action, children's science abilities reach 73.2%, with the category developing according to expectations. This shows that experimental activities need to be implemented at the RA At-Taqwa institution in addition to the question-and-answer and conversation activities that were implemented previously so that they become a mutually supportive unit to improve children's science skills.Dalam kemampuan sains peserta didik kelompok B1 di RA At-Taqwa masih banyak anak yang kemampuan sainsnya berada pada kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB).     Berdasarkan kegiatan observasi yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa aspek dari perkembangan kognitif terhadap anak masih harus di kembangkan salah satunya dengan pemahaman serta pengenalan terhadap konsep dasar matematika atau kemampuan berhitung dasar anak, akan tetapi kegiatan berhitung kurang diminati oleh anak karena hal ini diakibatkan oleh beberapa faktor baik dari guru, media maupun metode pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai alat pendukung, sehingga dengan adanya media flash card ini mampu membantu anak pada proses pembelajaran mengenai kemampuan berhitung anak.  Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik dalam penerapan media flash card terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru serta kepala sekolah Kober Nurjannah Arasyi dan anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah enam orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data ini melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara. Pengolahan data yang telah dicatat dan dikumpulkan, dianalisis dengan melakukan  reduksi data, display data serta menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berhitung kepada empat anak, dari keenam anak tersebut terdapat empat orang anak yang mampu menyebutkan angka dan menghitung benda dengan baik tetapi hanya dua anak yang dapat menjumlahkan bilangan dari 1 sampai 20 dengan menggunakan media flash card.   Based on the observation activities that have been carried out, it was found that aspects of cognitive development in children still need to be developed, one of which is by understanding and recognizing basic mathematical concepts or children's basic arithmetic skills, but arithmetic activities are less popular with children because this is caused by several factors, both from teachers, media, and learning methods used as supporting tools, so that with the presence of this flash card media, it can help children in the learning process regarding children's arithmetic skills. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the response of students to the application of flashcard media to the arithmetic skills of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were teachers and the principal of Kober Nurjannah Arasyi and children aged 5-6 years, totaling six children. This data collection technique was through observation and interview techniques. The processing of data that had been recorded and collected was analyzed by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, showed an increase in the counting ability of four children. Of the six children, four were able to name numbers and count objects well, but only two children were able to add numbers from 1 to 20 using flash cards.Kognitif adalah aspek perkembangan yang langsung berhubungan dengan otak yang merupakan pusat kontrol diri manusia. Aspek perkembangan kognitif anak perlu dikembangkan salah satunya dengan pengenalan dan pemahaman terhadap konsep matematika atau kemampuan berhitung dasar anak, akan tetapi kegiatan berhitung kurang diminati oleh anak karena hal ini diakibatkan oleh beberapa faktor baik dari guru, media maupun metode pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai alat pendukung, sehingga dengan adanya media flash card ini dapat membantu anak dalam proses pembelajaran mengenai kemampuan berhitung anak.  Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik dalam penerapan media flash card  terhadap kemampuan berhitung  anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru serta kepala sekolah KOBER Nurjannah Arasyi dan anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 6 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data ini melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara, Pengolahan data yang telah dicatat dan dikumpulkan, dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan menarik kesimpulan. Penerapan media ini dilakukan dengan cara membiarkan anak bebas dan aktif dalam berhitung dengan memilih sendiri kartu flash card lalu menyebutkan, membilang dan menebak yang ada dalam kartu flash card tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dari 6 orang anak terdapat 3 orang anak yang sudah berkembang sesuai harapan  karena dengan adanya penerapan media flash card dengan menggunakan aplikasi canva membantu anak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun

    Problem solving abilities can help students to improve their analytical power and help them to apply mathematics to various situations. Students who have good intentions in learning tend to be more diligent and tenacious in understanding and solving mathematical problems, even difficult mathematical problems. This is related to the affective aspect of students, namely self-efficacy. This research uses a qualitative approach and data collection techniques are carried out through filling out self-efficacy questionnaires, problem solving ability tests, and interviews. The results of this research are that students with a high level of self-efficacy have a fairly high level of problem solving ability even though not all indicators have been met, students with low and medium levels of self-efficacy have a low level of problem solving ability with only one or two indicators being met fulfilled

    This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of a model, namely discovery learning in mathematics learning, on students' mathematical understanding. This research had research subjects consisting of 18 class X SMA Budi Bakti 2 Cianjur students. Carried out using mixed methods, the instruments used were also created to measure quantitative as well as qualitative data. The data analysis used was hypothesis testing with a one-sample t test carried out on students' posttest scores. Apart from the t test, correlation and regression tests were also carried out on students' interest in learning and mathematical understanding. From the research conducted, the use of the discovery learning model is effective for application in mathematics learning in terms of mathematical understanding. The use of the discovery learning model has proven to be effective because students' mathematical understanding can exceed the KKM score. Interest in learning has a correlation with students' mathematical understanding, therefore interest in learning also has a regression towards mathematical understanding with a relatively high level of regression or a dominant influence

    University students are required to possess critical thinking skills to face the challenges of the 21st century. However, preliminary observations of first-semester students in the Mathematics Education Program at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa indicate that their critical thinking skills remain low. To address this issue, the flipped learning model was implemented. This study aims to develop flipped learning-based teaching materials to foster students’ critical thinking skills. The research employs a development approach using the Four-D (4D) model, limited to the product validity testing stage. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results show that the developed teaching materials include activities aligned with 12 critical thinking indicators and support independent learning. Validation by three experts indicated a validity level of 92.80%, categorized as highly valid. This module can be used in early-semester learning as a means to enhance students’ critical thinking skills and independent learning abilities

    Analisis prospektif pembelajaran konsep kesebangunan kelas VII SMP

    This study aims to identify learning obstacles and develop a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) for teaching the concept of similarity in Grade VII. The research is part of Didactical Design Research at the prospective analysis stage. Data were collected through textbook review, analysis of instructional materials, curriculum documents, diagnostic tests, and interviews with teachers and students. Analysis techniques include qualitative analysis, descriptive statistics, and data triangulation. Findings reveal types of learning obstacles: (1) ontogenetic, low conceptual readiness; (2) epistemological, inability to relate ratios to similarity conditions, compare corresponding sides, and make sketches; and (3) didactic, materials that lack explicit explanation of similarity conditions, offer few contextual activities, and focus on procedures. Based on these findings, the HLT includes three goals: informal recognition of similarity, identifying similar triangles based on conditions, and solving contextual problems through exploratory activities, group discussion, and real-life contexts. The study implies that systematic identification of learning obstacles is essential for designing more adaptive and meaningful instructional interventions

    Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP dengan discovery learning berbantuan wingeom

    The purpose of this study is to develop junior high school students' understanding of mathematical concepts on the topic of triangle similarity through the use of the Discovery Learning model integrated with the Wingeom application. The sample in this study consisted of seventh-grade students from class VII-C as the experimental group and VII-A as the control group at SMP Negeri 1 Rancabali, with a total of 60 students. This study was conducted using a mixed-method approach of the Convergent Parallel Design type. The research steps included conducting a pretest, providing learning treatment, administering a posttest, and distributing a student response questionnaire. Data collection instruments included seven essay questions and a closed-ended questionnaire. Data processing was conducted using SPSS 25 for Windows and Microsoft Excel. The analysis results showed a rejection of H_0, leading to the conclusion that the Discovery Learning model assisted by Wingeom is effective in improving understanding skills. The survei results showed a very positive response to the implementation of Discovery Learning assisted by Wingeom, which proved to increase engagement as well as independent problem-solving

    Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat MApreneur: Membangun Jiwa Kewirausahaan Melalui Pendekatan Multi-Disiplin dilaksanakan di MA YPI Baiturrahman Leles, Kabupaten Garut, sebagai upaya menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan di kalangan siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Program ini mengintegrasikan edukasi kewirausahaan dengan praktik langsung melalui kegiatan Market Day, serta melibatkan mahasiswa lintas disiplin dari Universitas Islam Nusantara sebagai fasilitator. Materi yang diberikan meliputi konsep dasar kewirausahaan, Marketing Mix 7P, pencatatan keuangan sederhana, strategi promosi, serta perbandingan peran pekerja dan wirausahawan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep, kreativitas, kepercayaan diri, serta keterampilan siswa dalam merancang dan memasarkan produk sederhana. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan multi-disiplin berbasis praktik efektif dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan di tingkat Madrasah Aliyah, sekaligus menjadi model alternatif untuk membangun karakter mandiri dan inovatif di kalangan generasi muda

    This study aims to examine the effectiveness of classical career guidance services using digital media in enhancing the career understanding of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 15 OKU. The research background stems from the students' low career understanding due to limited information and suboptimal career counseling services in schools. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was selected through cluster sampling, involving one class. Data collection was conducted using a career understanding scale based on the Likert model. The results indicated a significant increase in students' career understanding scores after receiving digital media-based career guidance using Wordwall. These findings suggest that interactive digital media can serve as an effective alternative for delivering classical career guidance. The study concludes that classical services utilizing digital media are effective in improving students' career understanding and are recommended for implementation in school counseling practices to support more mature and directed career planning
