PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN METODE JIGSAW UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN INTERAKSI SOSIAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI
Children's social interactions have a very important influence on children's development, because social interactions in early childhood are the foundation for developing social skills, communication and cooperation. With this journal, the researcher aims to examine the importance of children's social interactions in early childhood education through a case study at PAUD Anggrek Kelapa Dua Wetan, East Jakarta. Researchers will observe how children's social interactions develop in the school environment and the surrounding environment by implementing the jigsaw method of learning by teachers. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation studies. During the research, children's interactions with teachers and peers will be observed and recorded. Interviews as supporting data will be conducted with PAUD heads, teachers and parents to obtain more information regarding the success of implementing jigsaw learning to develop children's social interaction skills. Data from observations and interviews will be analyzed to see the results of applying this method. The results of this research show that the jigsaw method of learning can develop the social interaction skills of early childhood. Not only that, young children can develop social, communication and cooperation skills both in the school environment and in the surrounding environment
PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN MELALUI PELATIHAN TATA KECANTIKAN RAMBUT DI LKP PROSTYLE KOTA BEKASI
This study aims to describe the empowerment of women through hairdressing training in LKP Prostyle Bekasi. This study uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were four people, namely LKP managers, instructors and two trainees. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Validity of data using source triangulation and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results explain that the training process is divided into three stages, namely planning, implementation and assessment/evaluation. Planning is determined by setting training goals. Infrastructure facilities adapted to the budget Disdik Bekasi. Recruitment of training instructors is selected directly by the manager and of course competent and recruitment of 20 participants. Implementation of training for 160 hours as many as 40 meetings. The training materials are tailored to the needs of the participants. Media training in the form of modules and salon equipment. The training method uses a semi-private method with a personal approach and an andragogical approach. Assessment/evaluation on hairdressing training at LKP Prostyle is through assessment or national examination from the Professional Certification Body (LSP)
Persepsi guru SD kelas rendah dalam pembelajaran seni musik pada materi pola irama
Interpretasi seseorang terhadap sesuatu dipengaruhi oleh hal-hal yang ada dalam dirinya (internal) dan hal-hal yang berada di luar dirinya (eksternal). Persepsi guru disini adalah pandangan terhadap suatu pemahaman mengenai proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat berdampak pada pembelajaran yang akan dilakukannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat persepsi guru sekolah dasar kelas dua dan tiga terhadap pembelajaran seni musik pada perencanan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran materi pola irama yang didasarkan pada aspek-aspek pembelajaran. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti tahapan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif berupa survei, sehingga proses pegumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen berupa angket. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas dua dan tiga sekolah dasar dalam lingkup Kecamatan Ciawi, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Data angket yang diperoleh dianalis menggunakan SPSS versi 25 dan Microsoft Excel untuk mengetahui kategorisasi persepsi guru pada tiap aspek. Data hasil pengolahan SPSS versi 25 kemudian di interpretasi berdasarkan tujuan dari penelitian. Sehingga diketahui tingkat persepsi guru sekolah dasar kelas dua dan tiga terhadap pembelajaran seni musik pada materi pola irama. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, tingkat persepsi guru sekolah dasar kelas dua dan tiga terhadap pembelajaran seni musik pada materi pola irama menunjukan pada kategori sangat baik 47%, kategori baik 52%, dan kategori cukup baik 2%
Penggunaan model pembelajaran pengambilan keputusan rasional untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan siswa sekolah dasar kelas V
Rendahnya pengambilan keputusan pada siswa sekolah dasar yang di sebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih tidak menggunakan model bervariatif, sehingga siswa kurang mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Guna menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, diterapkan model pembelajaran pengambilan keputusan rasional. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian yaitu untuk mengamati peningkatan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan siswa, efektivitas model pengambilan keputusan rasional, serta respon aktif yang ditunjukkan oleh guru dan peserta didik selama kegiatan pembelajran berlangsung. Mixed method merupakan metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini dengan desain Sequential Explanatory Design. Subjek penelitian adalah 35 siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes penambilan keputusan,wawancara dan pengambilan angket. Melalui penelitian ini didapatkan hasil mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest. Selain itu, adapun respon yang positif dari para siswa pada model pengambilan keputusan rasional, terlihat dari antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar serta kemudahan pada saat memahami materi. Dengan begitu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pengambilan keputusan rasional berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan siswa kelas V SD sesuai dengan tujuan yang ditetapkan
The Effect of Problem-Based Learning Model on Students’ Learning Outcomes: A Case on Central Tendency Measures
This study investigates the low academic performance of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Telaga, with an average score of 50.1. Effective learning requires the application of appropriate teaching models to foster active student participation and improve outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the difference in student achievement between those taught using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and those taught through Direct Instruction, specifically on the topic of measures of central tendency. A quantitative approach was used with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 16 students in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive analysis included measures such as mean, mode, median, variance, and standard deviation. Inferential analysis was conducted to test the normality and homogeneity of the data before performing hypothesis testing.The findings reveal that the average posttest score of students taught with the PBL model was higher than that of students taught using direct instruction. This difference was supported by a hypothesis test result of 555 at a 0.05 significance level and an effect size of 1.043, indicating a high level of impact.These results suggest that the Problem-Based Learning model significantly improves student learning outcomes in the topic of measures of central tendency for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Telaga
The Use of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Models to Improve Elementary School Science Concept Understanding
Science learning in elementary schools aims to help students understand scientific concepts through observation and real experiences. This study aims to describe the improvement of fifth-grade elementary school students' conceptual understanding related to the properties of light through the application of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning model. SDN 2 Cilumba conducted the study, employing the pre-experimental method of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used included a concept understanding test and interviews. The results of data analysis showed a significant increase in students' average scores, from 58.81 (pretest) to 78.53 (posttest). The paired t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the STEM model was effective in improving students' conceptual understanding. The results of the interviews revealed that students were enthusiastic about participating in STEM-based learning, even though teachers faced time constraints and students had difficulty restating concepts. Overall, the majority of students were in the good understanding category (60.01%), excellent (26.66%), and sufficient (13.33%). These findings reinforce that the STEM approach can be an alternative to meaningful and intriguing science learning at the elementary school level.Pada hakikatnya pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar pembelajaran yang mengarahkan siswa untuk melihat fakta, konsep dan teori yang berkaitan dengan alam semesta. Guru diharapkan mampu mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya dengan menggunakan model STEM. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 2 Cilumba. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian analisis pemahaman konsep IPA menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 26,66% siswa memiliki kategori sangat baik, 60,01 % masuk pada kategori baik, dan 13,33% pada kategori cukup. Kesimpulannya, kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa masuk pada kategori baik, meskipun masih ada sebagian kecil siswa yang masih berada di kategori cukup
Implementation of Constructivism-Based Game-Based Learning Model in Science Learning for Grade IV
This study aims to describe the implementation of a Game-Based Learning model grounded in constructivist theory in the teaching of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in fourth-grade elementary school classrooms. This descriptive research explores the learning process that incorporates educational games to foster students’ active engagement in constructing conceptual understanding. The participants of this study were fourth-grade teachers and students at SDN 6 Metro Pusat. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews. The findings indicate that the use of Game-Based Learning enhances student participation in learning activities, promotes collaboration, and strengthens conceptual understanding through real-life learning experiences. Data presentation shows that 83% of students expressed agreement with the constructivism-based Game-Based Learning approach, categorized as forceful. In addition, teacher interviews revealed a score of 79%, categorized as strong. Thus, the constructivist-based Game-Based Learning approach has been proven to create an enjoyable learning environment and stimulate students' intrinsic motivation. Enhancing Learning Motivation of Grade XI.9 Students Through Zep Quiz Media in Civics Education at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang
The low learning motivation of students during the Pancasila Education learning process motivated this research. The study was caused by students feeling bored due to the use of monotonous and unvaried learning media. The aim of this study was to increase students' learning motivation in the Pancasila Education subject through the use of Zep Quiz media. This research was conducted in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of one meeting that included four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research involved 37 students as the research subjects, specifically from class XI.9 of SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. The study employed two data collection techniques: observation and documentation. The results showed an increase in students' learning motivation from 43% in the pre-cycle, then increasing to 68% in cycle I, and rising again to 88% in cycle II, reaching the "Very Good" category. Thus, the use of Zep Quiz media proved to be effective in enhancing students' motivation in learning Pancasila Education
Penerapan model discovery learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa MTs kelas VIII
The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of students who received the discovery learning model with students who received ordinary learning. The research method used was quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class VIII MTs Al-Furqon located in Cisarua, West Bandung with samples taken as many as two classes. The experimental class received learning by applying the discovery learning model, while the control class received ordinary learning. Data collection techniques by giving pretests and posttests. Quantitative data processing techniques were processed using MS Excel and SPSS. The results showed that students had the ability to solve mathematical problems when they learned to apply the discovery learning model
Application of the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by geogebra to enhance eighth-grade students’ mathematical understanding of systems of linear equations in two variables
The purpose of this study is to obtain descriptive results regarding the application of the ctl model assisted by geogebra to improve mathematical understanding before and after the implementation of the ctl teaching approach assisted by geogebra in class viii smpn satap jayakerta for systems of linear equations in two variables material. 10 students were the subjects in this study. experiments in the form of comprehension ability test questions are the methods applied in this study. data analysis was carried out by implementing the pre-experimental design with the one group pretest-posttest design design. the findings in this study indicate that there is an influence of the ctl teaching approach using geogebra, found in the data analysis that has a sign value ≤0.05 which means that there is an increase in mathematical understanding before and after the implementation of the ctl teaching model assisted by geogebra for systems of linear equations in two variables material
