    Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital, dunia kerja mengalami transformasi yang signifikan, di mana keterampilan digital menjadi kunci utama dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan employability. Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Masyarakat (Penmas) FIP UPI, sebagai calon tenaga kerja di berbagai sektor pendidikan masyarakat perlu dibekali dengan keterampilan digital yang memadai agar mampu beradaptasi dan bersaing di pasar kerja global yang semakin berbasis teknologi. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan kecakapan hidup berbasis digital ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa Penmas dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja di era digital. Pelatihan ini memfokuskan pada pengembangan keterampilan dasar dan lanjutan dalam penggunaan teknologi digital yang relevan dengan dunia kerja, seperti penguasaan perangkat digital, aplikasi kolaborasi, serta komunikasi efektif dalam platform digital. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga akan mencakup pengembangan life skills yang mendukung employability, seperti keterampilan manajemen waktu, komunikasi interpersonal di dunia digital, serta kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi.Kajian teoritik yang mendasari adalah konsep pelatihan, pendidikan kecakapan hidup, employbilitas dan pendidikan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis secara langsung kepada peserta pelatihan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa Penmas dalam mengatasi tantangan di dunia kerja modern dan membuka peluang lebih luas untuk mereka di pasar kerja digital. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga mendukung pencapaian visi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, adaptif, dan siap menghadapi perubahan global yang terus berkembang

    This study aims to determine the level of student study time management before and after being given group guidance services with simulation games techniques. The simulation games technique is used with the media of the traditional game engklek to create a fun learning atmosphere with cultural elements. This type of research is a pre-experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study were students of class X-5 SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda, totaling 34 students, with 8 subjects. Sampling using purposive sampling. The results showed that there was an increase in study time management after attending group guidance services with simulation games techniques using the traditional game media engklek. The average pretest result of 89.25 increased to 94.37 on the posttest. The t-test results show that the sig value is 0.002 <0.05 which indicates a difference between the pretest and posttest results

    This study aims to examine the effect of group counseling services using the role playing technique on improving students' learning motivation at SMPN 10 Palopo. A quantitative approach was applied with a quasi-experimental method, specifically a pretest-posttest design without a control group. The sample consisted of 15 eighth-grade students with low learning motivation, selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected using a learning motivation scale and analyzed using Paired Sample t-Test with SPSS. The results showed a significant increase in learning motivation after the intervention, with a pre-test average of 69.2 and a post-test average of 81, and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Thus, the role playing technique is effective in enhancing students' learning motivation

    EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING KELOMPOK BERBASIS REBT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT PADA SISWA

    This study was conducted based on data obtained from a preliminary study involving eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Bontang, which indicated a low level of adversity quotient. The findings revealed that students tended to give up easily when facing difficulties in learning or social situations, felt unable to control challenging circumstances, were reluctant to take responsibility for their problems, and experienced a decline in learning motivation when confronted with academic pressure or failure. The research employed a quantitative experimental design, specifically a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 30 eleventh-grade students identified as having a low adversity quotient, with a sample of six students selected based on purposive non-probability sampling techniques. The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The group counseling sessions were conducted five times, applying the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach for the experimental group and conventional group counseling for the control group. The pre-test scores showed an average of 31.66 for the experimental group and 29.33 for the control group. After the counseling sessions, the post-test average scores increased to 72.33 for the experimental group and 63.33 for the control group, indicating an average score increase of 40.67 and 34.00, respectively. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ adversity quotient. Therefore, it can be concluded that REBT-based group counseling is effective in enhancing the adversity quotient of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Bontang in the 2024/2025 academic year

    Enhancing English Writing Skills Through Reciprocal Social Media Messaging Tasks in The EFL Classrooms

    Social media has increasingly been incorporated into classroom activities in the digital era, including for teaching English as a foreign language. This study investigates the integration of reciprocal social media messaging tasks into an EFL classroom. This study aimed to find out whether reciprocal social media messaging tasks could enhance students’ writing skills and in what ways this method contributed to the enhancement of their writing skills. Reciprocal social media messaging tasks involved students exchanging messages back and forth and responding to each other. Moreover, the topic of the tasks in this study was invitations which led to informal writing. Furthermore, this study was a qualitative study that employed questionnaires and observations as the research instruments. The results showed that reciprocal social media messaging tasks could enhance EFL students’ English writing skill. In addition, this method could contribute to the enhancement of several writing aspects, such as vocabulary development, interactive writing, pragmatic competence, functional writing skills, spelling and grammar in real context, as well as coherence and message clarity. Reciprocal social media messaging tasks improved student engagement, writing performance, and awareness of language use in a more authentic, digital environment

    Utilization of Think-Pair-Share Method in Teaching Writing

    The objective of the research is to determine the efficacy of the think-pair-share (TPS) method in teaching writing. The quantitative method was used in this study. The subject in this research was eight grade students at SMP An Naja Boarding School Cipeundeuy. The sample consisted of 56 students who were split into two classes: control and experimental. The experimental class learned to write a conversation about there is and there are materials using the think-pair-share (TPS) method, whereas the control class utilized the conventional method. The researcher utilized SPSS to analyze the data.. The result indicated that there is significant difference between experiment and control class by using T-Test. The result revealed that the T-test value (0.029) was less (<) than 0.05. As a result, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted as a viable option. This meant that the class taught utilizing the think-pair-share (TPS) method differed from the conventional method. The students learnt how to share their opinions in a discussion text through the think-pair-share (TPS) method. They grew more active as well. This means that the TPS (think-pair-share) method could be utilized to teach writing

    Enhancing Students Writing Skill Through Project-Based Learning With Digital Media Integration: A Literature Review

    Articles This study is a systematic literature review that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PJBL) integrated with digital media in enhancing students' writing skills in the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. PJBL is recognized as a pedagogical approach that emphasizes contextual learning through real-world projects, involving students' cognitive, collaborative, and creative engagement. This review analyzed 24 studies published between 2016 and 2025, focusing on the implementation of digitally supported PJBL in writing instruction. The findings indicate that the integration of PJBL and digital media significantly improves students’ writing quality, particularly in terms of paragraph structure, grammar, cohesion, and coherence. In addition, this approach fosters students' motivation, active engagement, and collaborative skills in completing writing tasks. However, several challenges were identified, including limited infrastructure, teacher readiness, and gaps in students’ digital literacy. This study highlights the importance of institutional support and continuous professional development to ensure the effective and sustainable implementation of PJBL with digital media in writing instruction within the digital era

    Exploring Students’ Perspectives on Efclusda Program in Enhancing Speaking Skill

    This research explores students’ views on EFCLUSDA (English Fun Club Matsanisda), an extracurricular English program at MTsN 1 Sidoarjo, and its contribution to improving their speaking skills. The study used a qualitative approach, with data collected through semi-structured interviews involving active participants of the program. The findings show that students consider EFCLUSDA effective when it provides practical, interactive, and student-centered activities within a supportive environment. They also highlighted the importance of varied tasks, the use of technology, and guidance from mentors to make speaking practice more meaningful. These insights indicate that EFCLUSDA plays an important role in helping students build fluency and confidence, while also giving schools direction in designing programs that respond to students’ needs. The study further suggests that integrating students’ perspectives into program design is essential for the success of English learning. In addition, practical recommendations such as increasing opportunities for speaking practice, using diverse themes, and inviting guest speakers can strengthen the program’s impact

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelatihan membatik bagi warga binaan pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (LAPAS) Perempuan Kelas IIB Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta divalidasi menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, waktu dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan pelatihan membatik dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sistematis yang diawali dengan asesmen awal untuk memetakan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan dasar warga binaan. Hasil asesmen menjadi dasar dalam penentuan program pembinaan melalui sidang TPP agar pelatihan yang diberikan tepat sasaran. Tahap pelatihan difokuskan pada pembekalan keterampilan membatik secara bertahap, mulai dari pengenalan bahan dan alat, pembuatan pola, teknik mencanting, pewarnaan, hingga. Proses evaluasi (penilaian) mencakup penilaian aspek pengetahuan melalui tes lisan, sikap melalui observasi kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab, serta keterampilan melalui penilaian kualitas hasil karya batik. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak signifikan berupa peningkatan keterampilan teknis membatik, pembentukan sikap positif seperti kemandirian dan ketekunan, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri warga binaan

    A Comparative Study of the Utilization of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Conventional Generative AI Models in Improving Students' Scientific Writing Skills

    The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has reshaped the higher education landscape, raising concerns about the integrity of academic writing, including issues such as plagiarism, hallucination, and the decline of students' critical thinking skills, primarily associated with conventional generative models or Large Language Models (LLMs). This paper aims to conduct a comparative analysis between the use of LLMs and the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework, with a case study focusing on the NotebookLM platform, specifically to identify RAG's potential in enhancing academic integrity and facilitating authentic sourcing. Employing a quantitative approach, the research targeted data collection from 37 student respondents from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at IKIP Siliwangi through a structured questionnaire. The hypothesis posits that the RAG framework can effectively integrate information from external knowledge bases to address three main issues: 1) the way students obtain references in scientific writing, 2) the reduction of source hallucination in writing, and 3) the encouragement of students to become active knowledge curators
