    Permasalahan prioritas dalam pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah pendampingan keterampilan literasi dasar berdiferensiasi untuk Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada Komunitas Literasi Torabica (Toblong Dua Rajin dan Bisa Baca). Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah untuk kegiatan pendampingan keterampilan literasi baca-tulis, literasi numerasi, literasi sains, literasi digital, literasi finansial, serta literasi budaya dan kewargaan. Kegiatan tersebut  berdiferensiasi untuk Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada Komunitas Literasi Torabica. Kaitannya dengan MBKM, pada program ini dilaksanakan dengan pola MBKM Kampus Mengajar. Hubungannya dengan IKU, program ini termasuk pada IKU 2: Mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman di luar kampus dan IKU 3: Dosen berkegiatan di luar kampus. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut berupa metode pendamping. Mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan di Komunitas Literasi Torabica dilaksankan selama 3 bulan (1 semester). Dengan adanya program ini, mahasiswa Universitas Bale Bandung  berperan dan berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan literasi dasar di Komunitas Torabica. Mahasiswa saat di masyarakat tidak hanya sekadar memperoleh ilmu secara teoretis tetapi mendapatkan pengalaman praktis dengan cara langsung menyatu bersinergi bersama masyarakat dalam berbagai kegiatan literasi.     The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of group guidance using a shaping approach to reduce academic procrastination behavior among students who fail to complete academic assignments. Group guidance that uses shaping techniques aims to help modify negative behavior into positive behavior by changing initial behavior into final behavior, thus showing the expected or desired behavior. This research uses a Mix Method or a combination of quantitative data and qualitative data using the Explanatory Sequential Design research design. Quantitative data processing techniques use questionnaires, while qualitative data is processed using observation, interviews and documentation studies. Using a purposive sampling procedure, the subjects in this research were ten students. Based on the findings showing that the research hypothesis was accepted, group guidance assisted by shaping techniques succeeded in reducing students' academic procrastination behavior, obtained t-count = -21.124 with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Specifically, there were variations in the level of academic procrastination behavior before and during group guidance treatment

    Aggressive behavior is behavior that harms others as a result of frustration or anger arising from disappointment or failure to achieve a goal or satisfaction. The purpose of the study was to determine whether group tutoring services using role playing techniques are effective to reduce students ' aggressive behavior. The method in the study was pre-experiment with one group pretest posttest design. “Ten students of SMK Mahardika were used as research samples. Purposive sampling method is used to select samples, or sampling based on certain considerations and predetermined criteria. Based on the t-test results obtained significance value of 0.000 0.5 which shows a significant difference between pretest and posttest students, the study showed that group guidance with role-playing techniques effectively reduce students aggressive behavior

    Social interaction is a common problem faced by students at school and outside of school. This study aims to determine the extent to which interpersonal communication affects the social interaction of students at SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Batahan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. The sample in this study was class X SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Batahan as many as 86 students obtained using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection through research instruments using questionnaires and processed using IBM Statistic version 30.0 using analysis prerequisite tests, namely normality tests, linearity tests, and regression tests. The research findings show that students' interpersonal communication is in the poor category with a percentage of 59,3%, and students' social interaction is in the poor category with a percentage of 65,12%. The results of the regression analysis show that the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.182, which means that interpersonal communication has an influence of 18,2% on social interaction and is in the very weak category. This study concludes that social interaction is influenced by interpersonal communication as much as 18,2% and the rest is influenced by other factors that were not detected in this study

    Academic procrastination is often associated with a form of laziness within the educational context. This issue requires immediate intervention to enable students to minimize, or ideally eliminate, such behavior. This study aims to examine the level of academic procrastination among students at SMP Negeri 2 O’o’u. A quantitative method was employed using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Experimental Design, involving a single group of participants assessed before and after receiving a treatment. The pretest measured the participants’ initial condition, while the posttest evaluated the impact of the intervention. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, with class XI-B serving as the research subject. Data were collected using an academic procrastination questionnaire and analyzed by comparing pretest and posttest scores. The findings revealed a pretest score of 132.72% and a posttest score of 47.70%, indicating a reduction of 85.03 points. These results demonstrate that group counseling using the reality therapy approach is effective in reducing students’ academic procrastination. When implemented by school counselors following appropriate stages, this intervention tends to yield optimal outcomes

    Student academic stress is influenced by many academic demands that cause students to feel burdened and unable to complete their responsibilities as students because of factors that occur as teenagers and students at school. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling Social Modeling Techniques in minimizing academic stress in high school students. This study used a quantitative experimental method with pre-test and post-test design. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires and documentation with data analysis using the Wilcoxon test to determine changes in students' academic stress behavior before and after being given treatment. It can be concluded that before being given treatment, the pre-test results were obtained with a total score of 269 with an average value of 67.2 in the moderate category. Then post-test group counseling was carried out with a total score of 181 with an average value of 45.2 in the low category. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a Z count of - 1.826. Becausethe Asymp value. Sig(2-tailed) 0.068 is smaller than 0.5, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that there is a significant effect after being given group counseling with Social Modeling Technique, which shows that this method is effective in minimizing academic stress of high school students

    This study aims to examine the implementation of the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model in the evaluation of guidance and counseling programs to enhance service quality at SMP Negeri 1 Somolomolo. A qualitative descriptive method was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The primary data sources included the school principal, the student affairs vice principal, guidance and counseling teachers, subject teachers, and five students, supported by school documents as secondary data. The findings indicate that the CIPP model provides a comprehensive evaluation of the guidance and counseling program, assessing it from the perspectives of context, input, process, and product. The use of the CIPP model in program evaluation demonstrates an improvement in the overall quality of guidance and counseling services at the school

    This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of brainstorming techniques in group guidance services on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo. The background comes from the low motivation of students to learn which can be seen from the lack of participation in the learning process, lack of interest in the subject matter, and the tendency to be passive in the classroom. Through participatory approaches such as brainstorming, students are given the space to express their ideas, opinions and experiences freely without fear of being judged, which is expected to increase their enthusiasm and engagement in learning. This study used a quantitative method with a one group pretest-posttest quasi experimental design. A sample of 20 students was purposively selected based on the level of motivation which was classified as low to moderate. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed with the Paired Sample T-Test test through the SPSS program. The results showed a significant increase in student learning motivation after being given the treatment, with an average pretest score of 41 which increased to 51.35 in the posttest, and a significance value of 0.000. These results prove that the brainstorming technique is effective in increasing students' learning motivation and can be an alternative group guidance service strategy

    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services using the sociodrama technique in increasing the empathy of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo. The research applied a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 students with low empathy levels. The data collection instrument was an empathy scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed a significant increase in students’ empathy levels after the intervention. The average pre-test score of 37.20 increased to 64.25 in the post-test. This proves that the sociodrama technique is effective in enhancing students’ empathy

    Alan Walker's Song "Who I Am": It’s Deixis and English Students’ Perception of It’s Content

    This research is aimed at identifying (a) the majority of deixis found in the song lyrics of Alan Walker’s “Who I Am” and (b) the perceptions of English students of the song about the content of the song, the message that the songwriter wants to convey, and people to address in the song lyrics. This research uses a qualitative method. The needed data were gained by (a) accessing the song and its lyrics on the internet and (b) interviewing five English students who were in the eighth semester of a private university in West Java, Indonesia. the data from the song lyrics were computed using Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the data from the interview was analyzed qualitatively using Miles & Hubberman's (2014) concept of qualitative data analysis. Based on the data, we found that the dominant deixis was the first person personal deixis as a subject pronoun (the pronoun “I”) consisting of 16 words, referring to the songwriter as the main subject, experiencer, doer, and performer of what is talked about in the song. Furthermore, regarding the content of the song, the participants mostly had the same view that the songwriter tried to tell listeners about his strong determination, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and efforts in achieving his dreams. In addition, the songwriter expected the listeners to take some positive lessons of how to achieve success
