Analisis kebutuhan pengembangan e-modul bermuatan SDGs tema air bersih dan sanitasi layak di sekolah dasar
Abstrak
The implementation of learning is influenced by several learning components used, one of which is the teaching module. Technological developments can be considered as a strategic opportunity in an information approach to create interesting learning. Education for sustainable development is one way to realize the SDGs through education. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for developing e-modules containing SDGs in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative using descriptive methods. This research involved educators and students from several elementary schools. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that teachers still use books available at school and look for additional items on the internet.

Abstrak
Terlaksananya pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh beberapa komponen pembelajaran yang dipakai, salah satunya modul ajar. Perkembangan teknologi dapat dianggap sebagai peluang strategis dalam pendekatan informasi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik. Pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan SDGs melalui pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan e-modul bermuatan SDGs di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini melibatkan pendidik dan peserta didik dari beberapa sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih menggunakan buku yang ada disekolah dan mencari tambahan dari internet.

Efektifitas model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar
Abstract
One of the abilities that students need to have to support the 21st century is the ability to think critically. Therefore, learning to think critically needs to be trained since elementary school. In reality, elementary school students' critical thinking skills are still low. This is influenced by the fact that the majority of learning activities use the lecture method which makes students passive. Students' critical thinking abilities need to be improved, one of which is through the RADEC learning model. So this research aims to see the effectiveness of the RADEC learning model in improving critical thinking skills on material changing the shape of objects in class IV elementary school. This research uses a quantitative method with a Quasi Experimental research type and a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The research location was carried out at SDN Tonjong 1 Sukabumi City, with research samples namely class IVA and class IV B. The results showed an increase in pretest scores on the posttest, both in the experimental class and the control class. This can be seen from the results of the T test with a significance <0.005. Meanwhile, the results of calculations using the N-Gain Test from the pretest and posttest results show that there is a difference in increasing the effectiveness of the RADEC learning model by 62% while the percentage value of the conventional model is 33%. With this percentage, it can be concluded that the use of the RADEC learning model is more effective than conventional learning models.

Abstrak
Salah satu kemapuan yang perlu dimiliki oleh peserta didik untuk menyongkong abad 21 adalah kemampuan berfikir kritis. Oleh karena itu pembelajaran berfikir kritis perlu dilatih sejak sekolah dasar. Pada kenyataannya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar masih rendah. Hal ini dipengaruhi karena mayoritas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah yang menjadikan peserta didik pasif. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik perlu ditingkatkan salah satunya melalui Model pembelajaran RADEC. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas model pembelajaran RADEC dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis pada materi perubahan wujud benda di kelas IV Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitaif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Tonjong 1 Kota Sukabumi, dengan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IVA dan kelas IV B. Hasil menunjukkan adanya kenaikan nilai pretest pada posttest, baik pada kelas eksperimen ataupun kelas kontrol. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji T dengan signifikansi < 0,005. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan Uji N-Gain dari hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukan adanya perbedaan peningkatan efektifitas model pembelajaran RADEC sebesar 62 % sedangkan nilai presentase model konvensional yaitu 33 %. dengan presentase tersebut maka, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional.

Analisis media pembelajaran papintung pada materi operasi hitung perkalian siswa kelas II sekolah dasar
Materi operasi hitung perkalian adalah pelajaran wajib yang harus dipelajari siswa disemua jenjang pendidikan. Perkalian merupakan modal awal bagi siswa untuk mempelajari semua bidang ilmu pengetahuan setelah penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Dalam mempelajari materi perkalian siswa harus memahami konsep terlebih dahulu karena perkalian tidak hanya ditemui oleh siswa selama pembelajaran, tetapi akan ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kebutuhan media dan kendala yang dialami dalam pembelajaran operasi hitung perkalian. Adapun hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi di salah satu SD di Kabupaten Ciamis menunjukan bahwa terdapat keterbatasan media serta kendala yang dialami oleh siswa dan guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung seperti penggunaan tabel perkalian yang dirasa kurang efektif dalam menyampaikan konsep dasar perkalian. Oleh karena itu, diperkukannya sebuah pengembangan media pada materi operasi hitung perkalian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan karakteristik tersrbut.

Efektivitas model pembelajaran scramble berbantuan media audio visual terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pendidikan pancasila di sekolah dasar
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi efektivitas model pembelajaran scramble berbantuan media audio visual terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada Pendidikan Pancasila kelas V di SD 3 Jurang Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang dilakukan di kelas V SD 3 Jurang dengan subjek penelitian 23 siswa yang berlangsung pada 2 pertemuan dengan menggunakan metode pre-experimental design tipe one group pretest-posttest (tes awal-tes akhir tanpa ada kelompok pembanding atau kelompok kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji prasyarat yang terdiri dari uji normalitas serta uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD 3 Jurang sebelum dan sesudah diterapkanya model Scramble berbantuan media audio visual. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil SPSS uji paired sample t-test dari nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 artinya sig > 0,05 maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Model scramble berbantuan media audio visual efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada Pendidikan Pancasila kelas V (terdapat perbedaan nilai sebelum dan sesudah dibelajarkan menggunakan model scramble berbantuan media audio visual) serta hasil one sample t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,341 artinya sig > 0,05 maka Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen tidak sama dengan 78. Kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD 3 Jurang sebelum dan sesudah diterapkanya model Scramble berbantuan media audio visual. The Influence of Storytelling to Improve Students’ Speaking Skill
This study is aimed to discover whether storytelling can improve students’ speaking skill or not of ninth-grade students in Bandung. The research method used is the experimental method, while the research instrument used is one group pre-test and post-test. The sample of this research is the students of class 9, with a total of 25 students. Based on data analysis results using SPSS, the result of the pre-test is 56.88. Meanwhile, the result of the post-test is 77.76. Two hypotheses guided the researcher: the Null hypothesis (H0:) storytelling can not improve students’ speaking skills, and the alternative hypothesis: storytelling can improve students’ speaking skills. In summary, the Null hypothesis is rejected which conclude that storytelling can improve students’ speaking skill
Investigating Junior High School Student in Learning Reading Through Word Search Puzzle Game : Case Study
Many students struggle to form simple sentences for everyday conversations. Vocabulary is the main foundation of language, and the richness of a person's understanding greatly determines their ability to capture meaning, understand context, and connect ideas in a text. Teachers must pay special attention to gain students' motivation to expand their vocabulary. Therefore, the research aimed to explore the implementation and investigate students in word-search puzzle games as a learning medium to assist students in reading classrooms. The researcher used qualitative research with a case study design. Five students of junior high school students were involved in this research. Research data was collected through interviews and observation. The data was analyzed by thematic analysis. The study found that teachers implementing a learning strategy following the theory of Safadi and Rababah encourage student engagement and improve reading skills by using the Word Search Puzzle Game as a learning medium. There are four stages to implementing this strategy. This strategy can encourage students to learn so that they can explore their reading skills. It can be concluded that integrating the Word Search Puzzle Game into reading learning can increase students' cognitive, affective, and behavioral engagement and prove that interactive and exciting learning media can help achieve learning
An Analysis of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) Approach Used by The Teacher in Writing Skill at Bina Cita Mandiri (BCM) Course & Counseling
Task-based language teaching (TBLT) is a communicative approach that views language as a tool for communication. Learners acquire language by completing meaningful, well-structured tasks. The research aimed to examine how the teacher at BCM Course & Counseling applies the TBLT approach to teaching writing and the challenges faced in using this method. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method. Three instruments were utilized observation, interview, and documentation for collecting the data. The subject was the English teacher at 5th Grade in BCM Course & Counseling, Palangka Raya. The researcher obtained the teacher at Bina Cita Mandiri (BCM) Course & Counseling utilizes the TBLT approach by integrating a series of well-designed tasks into the English writing curriculum, which align with real-world activities. Tasks such as arranging sentences, translating words, and filling in blanks worksheets task from online resources like iSL Collective and Live Worksheet. Group discussions form a core part of the TBLT approach at BCM. Students are divided into small groups, and each group works collaboratively on the assigned writing tasks. The problems that the researcher found while observing and interviewing the teachers. There were students' cognitive abilities, difference in curricula, student attendance, motivation, and limited practice opportunities
AI Writing Assistants: Insights from EMI Higher Education
One of the requirement of study in an EMI university is the ability to express ideas through academic writing tasks or projects. This explanatory study aims to investigate EMI university students' strategies of using artificial intelligence-based writing assistants for college writing tasks. This mixed-method study combined survey-based instrument and interviews. The survey was distributed online, consisting of 10 likert scale statements, with 1 = strongly disagree and 5 = strongly agree and 5 close-ended questions. This likert-scale statements seek to map students’ use of AI-based writing assistants in stages of writing process while the close-ended questions seek to explain their perceptions of using AI writing assistants. This questionnaire was followed by interviews to several participants, purposively selected based on their responses in the questionnaire. The survey was distributed to 101 university students from 17 study programs at one university that implements EMI. The results revealed that AI tools support EMI students throughout the whole stages of writing processes, but mainly in pre-writing, drafting, and editing stages. Furthermore, students’ positive views over the support and concerns over significant reliance on the use of AI writing assistants are also discussed. Further research could investigate the long-term effects of using these tools on students' academic writing skills and academic performance
Improving English Vocabulary Mastery Through The Memrise Application for Twelve Grade Students MA Al Djufri: A Classroom Action Research
The aims of this research is to find out how students perceive and understand the memrise application as a tool to learn and improve the understanding of English vocabulary. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the method of this research. The subjects in this research are twelve grade students with a total of 30 students at MA Al Djufri Pamekasan. The time of this research is from the month of October to November 2024. In this research, the author used observation sheet and test instruments. The results of this research in cycle 1 were 64.4 while the results of this research in cycle 2 were 93. Results In cycle 1, these results were supported by the results of observation of teacher activities by achieving an average of 87% and student observation results of 74.8%, while the results in cycle 2 were supported by the results of observation of teacher activities by achieving an average of 94% of enthusiasm and 89.6% of student implementation observations. Students' vocabulary knowledge and learning engagement can be enhanced by utilizing the memrise application.
Directive Speech Acts in Ariana Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Interview with Zach Sang
This study aims to analyze the use of directive speech acts in Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine interview with Zach Sang, focusing on how commands, orders, requests, and suggestions shape conversational dynamics. Using George Yule’s (1996) classification as the theory, this research examines how language functions to influence and guide behavior in a media setting. The data source is the publicly available interview, and the research employs a qualitative descriptive design to systematically identify directive speech acts. Data was collected through observational method with non-participatory technique, and analyzed using the pragmatic identity method with contextual analysis technique, based on Sudaryanto (2015). Results show that requests, with 20 instances, were the most common directive, suggesting a preference for politeness. Commands followed with 16 instance, and suggestions appeared 15 times, indicating subtle influence, while orders were least frequent with 9 instances, highlighting sparing use of direct authority. These findings underscore how directive speech acts contribute to interaction flow and social dynamics in high-profile media contexts
