CHALLENGES AND EFFECTIVENESS: TEACHER AND STUDENT PERCEPTIONS OF FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT PRACTICE: CASE STUDY OBEKKHAM SECONDARY SCHOOL
This study explores the challenges and effectiveness of formative assessment practices from the perspectives of teachers and students at Obekkham Secondary School to improve teaching and learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach, using structured questionnaires to gather data from 24 science teachers and 700 students across grades 7 to 9 (using the Taro Yamane method). This research highlights the urgency of addressing the practices at the secondary level. The study focused on implementing formative assessments, feedback, and alignment with curriculum objectives. The findings indicate that formative assessments positively influence student motivation, engagement, and performance. However, challenges such as time constraints, inadequate training, and difficulties in adapting assessments to diverse learner needs exist. These results show the importance of immediate professional development for teachers and the adoption of adaptive strategies to integrate formative assessment practices into a more effective and inclusive secondary education system
THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEM INFORMATION MANAGEMENT “LABSAINS 1.0" FOR SUPPORTING PRACTICUM ACTIVITIES IN FTIK LABORATORY AT IAIN PONOROGO
The controlling record data for the FTIK laboratory at IAIN Ponorogo relies on conventional methods. These methods have encountered several challenges. The inventory recording of the laboratory, reagents, and scheduling is conducted through manual entries in a notebook. The management of these methods presents multiple challenges. This research aims to develop a laboratory management information system to address the problem of laboratory service efficiency at FTIK IAIN Ponorogo. Optimization of laboratory management in supporting student activities is carried out through a management information system. The development of the "LabSains 1.0" system at the FTIK Laboratory is the first pilot project for laboratory digitization within IAIN Ponorogo. The system development uses the waterfall method to follow the systematic flow needed in software creation. The operational efficiency results of using the “LabSains 1.0" system reach a moderate rate at a ratio of 74%. This study focuses on three main efficiency indicators, including enhancing service quality, reducing errors in the organization, and increasing user satisfaction. 86% of students stated strongly agree with the use of the system in the laboratory. The professional development and implementation of “LabSains 1.0" systems have improved laboratory competitive services. These organizing activities can provide benefits through an automated system that features comprehensive document processing capabilities
Efforts of Tionghoa Ethnic Groups to Strengthen Good Character Through the Incremental Change Approach
Strengthening character in a multicultural society is a challenge amidst the current of globalization that has the potential to erode noble values. This study examines how the Tionghoa Ethnic community in Indonesia maintains and strengthens good character sustainably through an incremental change approach, namely changes in values, attitudes, and behaviour that occur gradually but consistently. Using descriptive qualitative methods and case study designs in three multicultural cities, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies of family practices and socio-religious organizations. The results show that character strengthening is carried out through two main strategies: (1) internalizing values such as hard work, responsibility, and integrity in everyday life; and (2) awareness, adaptation, and character application without losing cultural identity. The gradual character transformation produces a resilient, empathetic, and pro-social young Tionghoa generation. These findings prove that incremental change is effectively applied as a community culture-based character-building approach
Romanticization or Reality: It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover Through Corpus Stylistics Perspective
Corpus stylistics, which involves the analysis of electronic archives of written material, facilitates the understanding of connections between words. This research aims to provide linguistic evidence regarding the genre of Colleen Hoover's popular fiction, It Ends with Us, specifically, to ascertain whether it is a pure romance novel or incorporates aspects of literary realism. A descriptive qualitative approach, grounded in Mahlberg's (2013) corpus stylistics theory, is employed. The primary data for analysis are the four most frequently occurring verbs identified using AntConc. The collocations associated with each verb are subsequently categorized into "attempts to romanticize" or "narrations of reality" to determine the prevailing stylistic strategy. The research demonstrates that the novel utilizes a greater proportion of "realistic" words compared to "romantic" words, thereby indicating its alignment with literary realism. The narrative modifications are intended to heighten the story's engagement, rather than to romanticize domestic abuse or toxic relationships
Advancing Sukuk Markets: Legal Frameworks, Regulatory Developments, and Default Challenges in Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates
Introduction: This study examines recent developments and key challenges in the sukuk markets of Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a focus on legal, regulatory, and post-default frameworks. It analyzes the institutional structures that shape sukuk issuance in both countries. Research Methods: Using a qualitative approach, the research draws on academic literature, official reports, news articles, and other relevant sources. It also outlines fundamental sukuk theories, instruments, and global market issues. Results: The findings indicate that both countries have made notable progress in advancing socially responsible sukuk and regulatory initiatives. However, the UAE faces challenges such as the absence of standardized legal frameworks and independent rating agencies. Malaysia, while leading globally in sukuk issuance, continues to encounter difficulties aligning its regulations with international standards. Conclusion: The study recommends greater standardization, increased sukuk issuance, and more transparent post-default mechanisms to support the long-term development of sukuk markets
Moral Singularity, Consciousness, and Artificial Intelligence in The Algorithmic Age of Islamic Economics, Finance, Society, and Science
This paper analytically argues that received scientific doctrine and Islamic scholarship, by being methodologically independent of the principle of pairing the moral and material essence of events, have left a significant gap in understanding reality. Such a gap is referred to as exogenously independent, that is, as existing merely as a moral singularity in the methodological worldview of knowledge that otherwise pervades “everything.’ This latter essence pronounces the central role of Tawhid as the pervasiveness of the conscious continuum. The pervasive nature of the conscious continuum in Tawhidi unity of knowledge brings out the analytical power to explain the core of the socio-scientific methodology of pairing (complementarities). This study derives a logical formal model of the interrelations between the centerpiece of the unity of knowledge, consciousness, configuration of epistemic moral-materiality, and socio-scientific intellection in the post-modern algorithmic age. For example, this vastness is inherent in the new epistemic configuration of the AI regime of the algorithmic age. Such an intellectual vista of divinely induced formal inherences in the order of reality is pointed out in this paper as pertaining to the new episteme of socio-scientific moral-materiality holism. A comparative methodological approach was used. The emergent subtle areas of discourse form the originality of the paper, its focus, and its theme

Hiperrealitas Cantik Dan Impulsive Buying Skincare Pada Mahasiswi FEBI IAIN Ponorogo
Introduction: Since beauty is seen as a physical body, to be beautiful you have to take care of it using skincare products because beauty is this pursuit, so individuals become more and more wasteful and also obsessed with buying skincare which leads to waste and also losses if skincare is not suitable for the skin. Excessive skincare purchases are called impulse purchases. This study aims to find out more about this phenomenon. Research Methods: This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection method in this study uses observation, interview and documentation methods. Results:The results of this study explain that the beauty hyperreality that occurs in female students who use skin care products is grouped into three phases, namely the simulation phase as the initial phase, the simulacra phase as the middle phase, and the simulacrum phase as the final phase. Conclusion: The concept of hyperreality of beauty among female university students is formed through three phases. The first phase is the simulation phase, which occurs due to the influence of family environment, peer groups, and especially social media — with social media being the most dominant factor among these. The second phase is the simulacrum phase, where individuals begin to explore more about beauty and the elements that can enhance it; at this stage, students start experimenting with skincare products. The third phase is the simulacra phase, in which the students have constructed and defined their own personal standards of beauty

Quranic Epistemology of Abdullah Darraz on His Critic of Morality: A Study of the Book Dustūr al-Akhlāq fī Al-Qur’ān
This paper reveals descriptively the textual basis of Muhammad Abdullah Darraz’s thoughts as stated in his work Dustūr al-Akhlāq fī al-Qur’ān: Dirāsah Muqāranah li al-Akhlāq al-Nażāriyyāt fī al-Qur’ān. It aims to confirm the extent of the text analysis model used by Darraz in formulating the concept of Islamic morality. The researcher used a qualitative research type and a content analysis approach by tracing the interpretation of the verses of the Koran and the background to the criticism built by Darraz. This research makes Dustūr al-Akhlāq fī al-Qur’ān a material object and the critic of morality as a formal object. The fīndings are as follows: Fīrst, in his thought project, Darraz uses Qur’anic epistemology by indirectly using al-Ghazali’s maqāṣīd al-Qur’ān method. So, with this method, he succeeded in finding forms of commands in various pronunciations of the Qur’an to confīrm the Shari'ah of overall morality. Second, Darraz proved that Islamic morality differs from Western morality based on empiricism and is not value-free. This is preceded by constructive criticism of the existing Islamic treasures and their further development. On the other hand, it applies destructive criticism to Western views on morality. In short, Darraz's thought project is an anti-thesis effort to the conventional concept of morality that has developed by offering an original reference to understanding the Koran
