Moderate Ideology Of The Yellow Book (Kitab Kuning): (Study on the Moderation of the Kitab of Fatḥ al-Mu'īn Taught in Islamic Boarding Schools)
The Yellow Book (Kitab Kuning; an Islamic textbook taught in Islamic boarding schools) study on moderation is still at the surface stage. Various studies conducted by intellectuals such as Ni'am, Sahri, Kusmira, and Kholis have not fully shown how the moderation of the yellow book was produced. The explanation that the Yellow Book displays a variety of opinions from scholars on a matter is insufficient to justify the Yellow Book's moderation. This paper intends to perfect these shortcomings by displaying one yellow book that is an essential reference in Islamic boarding schools, Fatḥ al-Mu'īn. The Book of Fatḥ al-Mu’īn is a standard for mastering religious science in Islamic boarding schools. This book is taught to upper-class students, is complex to read, and powerfully connects with sanad transmission. The taking of legal justifications for disputed issues, even by large NU organizations, refers to the decision of this book Fatḥ al-Mu’īn. By using a critical, descriptive method, this paper seeks to find the acceptance of the Islamic boarding school towards the Book of Fatḥ al-Mu’īn and the model of the disclosure of the Book of Fatḥ al-Mu’īn, which is indicated as a form of moderation. This study found that the Book of Fatḥ al-Mu’īn was accepted by pesantren through transmitting the scientific knowledge of its founders, who were madhhab or al-Shafi'i ideology. Meanwhile, the model of moderation in the Book of Fatḥ al-Mu’īn is shown by mentioning other opinions after making conclusions, going out of the two extreme points, and choosing the priority of the views without blaming or judging.

Analysis of Maqasidiyyah on The Compilation of Islamic Law and The Egyptian Al-Wasiyah Law Regarding Wajibah Bequest From Ibn Ashur's Perspective
Islamic law in Indonesia is developing rapidly, including wasiat wajibah in the KHI, which is the mandatory transfer of property between parents and adopted children through a court decision. This study is normative in nature, employing the maqasid syari’ah approach of Ibn Asyur. The study aims to analyze the concept of wasiat wajibah as stipulated in the KHI, comparing it with the Egyptian Qanun to determine whether it aligns with the objectives of Islamic law. This study found several results: 1) Mandatory wills in the KHI are given to adopted children and adoptive parents, with a maximum of 1/3 of the estate. In the Egyptian Qanun, wills are given to grandchildren whose fathers died while their grandparents were still alive and who are prevented from inheriting. 2) In Indonesia, the concept of mandatory bequests has been expanded through a Supreme Court ruling to include adopted children, adoptive parents, and relatives barred from inheritance such as non-Muslims, stepchildren, and children born out of wedlock. In Egypt, according to a ruling by Darul al-Ifta, mandatory bequests are given to grandchildren if their father dies before their grandfather or grandmother. 3) According to Ibn Asyur's maqasid Syariah, the reformulation of Article 209 of the KHI regarding wasiat wajibah is in line with maqasid syariah because it preserves lineage, regulates inheritance proportionally, and creates clarity and peace between heirs and recipients of wasiat wajibah.

The Canggha Agung Tradition as a Pre-Wedding Ceremony in West Kalianget Village, Sumenep Regency
The canggha agung tradition is a pre-marriage ceremony that has been passed down from generation to generation in Kalianget Barat Village, Sumenep, Madura. This tradition is believed to ensure the smooth running of the marriage ritual. This study aims to identify the factors that support the preservation of this tradition and its relationship with the success of marriage. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, involving in-depth interviews with families who practice the canggha agung tradition, religious leaders, community leaders, and the general population of Kalianget Barat Village. Data was collected through interviews and supporting documents. The results of the study indicate that the preservation of the canggha agung tradition is supported by three main factors, namely (1) the community's belief in traditional values as a sacred heritage; (2) the empirical experience of couples who have undergone the tradition, who generally report a more harmonious household life; and (3) collective support from the community, including religious leaders and traditional elders. This tradition also serves as a medium to strengthen religious and spiritual values and enhance social solidarity among community members. The Role of Social Capital in Preserving The Traditional Cuisine of Empal Gentong in Cirebon
Preserving traditional culinary heritage is essential to maintaining local cultural identity amid modernization. This study analyzes the role of social capital in preserving Empal Gentong, a traditional Cirebonese dish with strong historical and cultural significance. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results show that social capital—trust, social networks, and social norms—contributes significantly to preserving the authenticity of recipes, cooking techniques, and cultural values. Local culinary communities and intergenerational involvement play a key role in transmitting these values. Furthermore, collaboration between local governments, tourism stakeholders, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is strengthened through social capital, enhancing promotion and preservation efforts. The study concludes that cultural culinary preservation relies on economic factors and strong social ties within the community. Strengthening social capital is therefore vital to sustaining local food heritage
Exploring the Correlation Between Internet Addiction, Anxiety and Achievement Test Among Iranian Male Senior High School EFL Students
The rapid growth of internet usage among adolescents has raised concerns about its psychological and academic impacts. Internet addiction, characterized by excessive and uncontrolled online behavior, is increasingly linked to mental health issues such as anxiety, which may also influence academic performance. Despite growing attention globally, limited research has focused on this issue among high school EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners in Iran. This study investigates the relationships between internet addiction, anxiety, and academic achievement among Iranian male senior high school EFL students. A sample of 70 students was randomly selected from two public high schools. Data were collected using the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS, 1971), the Internet Addiction Test (IAT, Young, 1996), and a standardized academic achievement test administered by Iran’s Ministry of Education. Results revealed a significant positive correlation between internet addiction and anxiety, suggesting that higher internet use is associated with elevated anxiety levels. Additionally, both internet addiction and anxiety were negatively correlated with students’ academic achievement scores. These findings underscore the importance of monitoring students’ internet usage and addressing their mental health needs. The study contributes to the existing literature by examining this triadic relationship in a less-explored educational and cultural context
