Kesiapsiagaan Individu dalam Menghadapi Bencana Gempa Bumi di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi: Analisis Deskriptif
Get PDFIntrodution: The Special Region of Yogyakarta, particularly Sleman Regency, is an area with a high earthquake threat. The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at Respati University of Yogyakarta is located in this high-risk zone, making disaster preparedness among educational staff crucial. This study aims to illustrate earthquake disaster preparedness among lecturers, educational staff, and general staff at FIKES UNRIYO. Research Methods: The research adopts a Cross-Sectional design with a sample of 90 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using the LIPI/UNESCO (2006) questionnaire, which evaluates preparedness based on knowledge, emergency response plans, warning systems, and resource mobilization. The data were analyzed descriptively. Results: The findings indicate that the respondents' preparedness index is 82%, categorized as high. Conclusion: Lecturers, educational staff, and general staff at FIKES UNRIYO demonstrate a high level of earthquake disaster preparedness, although some parameters still require optimizatio
Kesalahan Bahasa di Media Massa: Analisis Linguistik pada Surat Kabar Jawa Pos Periode September-Oktober 2024
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze language errors found in political news published in newspapers. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study identifies and classifies various types of language errors, including grammatical errors, spelling errors, and terminology usage. The sample consists of the September-October 2024 edition of the Jawa Pos newspaper. Data were collected through document studies and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that common language errors are influenced by factors such as time pressure, lack of understanding of language rules, and editorial conditions. These findings are expected to contribute to improving the quality of news reporting and awareness of the importance of using good language in the context of mass media.

Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan berbagai jenis kesalahan berbahasa, termasuk kesalahan tata bahasa, ejaan, dan penggunaan istilah. Sampel terdiri dari surat kabar koran Jawa Pos edisi September-Oktober 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumen dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan berbahasa yang umum terjadi dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti tekanan waktu, kurangnya pemahaman terhadap kaidah bahasa, dan kondisi redaksional. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pemberitaan dan kesadaran akan pentingnya penggunaan bahasa yang baik dalam konteks media massa.

Online Da’wah and Social Media Misuse: Implications for Intra-Religious Peaceful Coexistence
Get PDFThe article examines the implications of social media misuse by Yoruba Muslim preachers (du’āt) on intra-religious peaceful coexistence. The research aims to highlight how the irresponsible use of online platforms by these preachers has led to increased hostility and division within the Muslim community. The study emphasizes the importance of adhering to Islamic principles that promote unity, tolerance, and mutual respect when conducting da’wah (religious outreach) online. To achieve this, the researchers used a descriptive survey design to analyze the social media activities of Yoruba, Nigeria du‘āt. The study reveals that some preachers have engaged in behavior contrary to Islamic teachings, such as spreading misinformation, hate speech, and engaging in personal attacks. This misuse of social media has caused polarization, mistrust, and even led to legal actions, further harming the peaceful coexistence of the Muslim community. The paper concludes that du‘āt must practice responsible and ethical online da‘wah that aligns with Islamic values, particularly those that foster harmony and peaceful coexistence. The research calls for a return to the core principles of Islamic law to mitigate the negative effects of social media misuse

No full textThis study aims to explain the existence of border community harmony in multicultural and religious social interactions. The border areas of Aceh and North Sumatra in this mountainous community are known to have ethnic and cultural diversity that influences the social dynamics and religiosity of the local community. This study uses a qualitative approach through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The study results indicate that socio-religious harmony in this area is realized through religious moderation values, which are indicated by tolerance of religious communities, positive dialogue between religious communities, and respect for local traditions. Religious figures, community leaders, and educational institutions are important in educating and advocating for an understanding of religious harmony.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan adanya harmonisasi masyarakat perbatasan dalam berinteraksi sosial yang multikultur dan agama. Daerah perbatasan Aceh dan Sumatera Utara pada masyarakat pegunungan ini dikenal memiliki keberagaman etnis dan budaya yang mempengaruhi dinamika sosial dan keberagamaan masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harmonisasi sosial keagamaan di wilayah ini diwujudkan melalui pengamalan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang indikasinya adanya toleransi umat beragama, dialog yang positif antar umat beragama dan penghormatan kepada tradisi lokal. Pembaharuan Hukum Islam: Perspektif Muhammad Abduh
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic law reform in the perspective of Muhammad Abduh and its relevance in the context of modern Islamic law. The method used is normative juridical research with a historical and conceptual approach, through a study of the literature of Abduh's works and the thoughts of contemporary scholars. The results of the study show that Abduh emphasizes ijtihad as the main instrument in the renewal of Islamic law, by rejecting taqlid which limits the development of law. He argues that Islamic law must be dynamic and able to adapt to social change, without neglecting the basic principles of sharia. His thinking made a significant contribution to the reform of Islamic law, especially in building a legal system that is more rational and in line with the needs of modern society. Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the politics of Islamic law in Indonesia through a study of the process of legislating the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). The method used is normative juridical research with a historical and legal policy approach, through the analysis of legislation documents, government policies, and the social dynamics behind the drafting of the KHI. The results show that the KHI legislation is a compromise between Islamic norms and state policy in building a harmonious legal system. The KHI plays an important role in the unification of Islamic law in Indonesia, although it still faces challenges in its implementation, especially related to the diversity of schools of thought and social change. This study emphasizes that the politics of Islamic law in Indonesia is dynamic and influenced by the interests of the state and the aspirations of Muslims in the formation of regulations that are more responsive to the needs of society

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the role of students as one of the forces in law enforcement in Indonesia. The method used is juridical-sociological research with a descriptive-analytical approach, through literature studies and studies of student movements in the history of legal reform. The results show that students have a strategic role in upholding the rule of law through advocacy, social criticism, and involvement in reform movements. In various historical moments, students have been agents of change that encourage transparency, accountability, and justice in the legal system. However, the challenges faced include the lack of consistency in the movement, political intervention, and limitations in in-depth understanding of the law. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen students' capacity in understanding the law and more systematic advocacy strategies in order to contribute more effectively to law enforcement
Kontekstualisasi Hukum Islam: Telaah atas Pemikiran Hukum KH. MA Sahal Mahfudz
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the Islamic legal thought of KH. MA Sahal Mahfudz in the context of Islamic legal reform relevant to social development. KH. MA Sahal Mahfudz is known for his approach of balancing text (nash) and context in applying Islamic law. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, examining his works and thoughts, especially related to social fiqh. The results of the study show that KH. MA Sahal Mahfudz's thinking emphasizes the importance of contextualizing Islamic law so that it remains relevant to changing times without losing its shar'i values. Through the maqashid sharia approach and the contextual ijtihad method, he offers a formulation of Islamic law that is more responsive to social realities. His thoughts contribute to the development of dynamic fiqh, especially in social issues and Islamic legal policy in Indonesia

No full textThis study aims to understand the law of contract in Islam comprehensively, covering aspects of theory, legal principles, and their practice in modern life. The law of Islamic contract is based on the principles of justice, willingness (taradhi), and clarity ('adam al-jahalah) between the parties. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, examining classical fiqh literature, contemporary Islamic legal documents, and contract practices in Islamic economics. The results show that Islamic contract law has high flexibility as long as it does not contradict sharia principles. In addition, principles such as freedom of contract and the obligation to fulfill promises (al-'uqud musyahadah) remain relevant in the modern legal system. This study emphasizes that Islamic contract law can be a strong normative foundation for ethical and fair business contracts

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze consumption preferences in Islam by examining the concept of maslahah (public interest) as a normative basis for consumption behavior. Using a qualitative method through a literature study approach, this study examines classical and contemporary Islamic economic literature, as well as the principles of Islamic maqashid (objectives of Islamic law) related to consumptive behavior. The results show that consumption in Islam is not only based on personal satisfaction, but must also consider individual and collective benefits (maslahah), as well as the values of justice, balance, and sustainability. The concept of maslahah limits excessive consumption and encourages an ethical and responsible consumption orientation. This study emphasizes that consumption preferences in Islam are holistic, combining spiritual, social, and economic aspects for the realization of equitable welfare
