    Ijtihad Istinbati dan Tatbiqi

    This study aims to examine the concept of ijtihad istinbati and ijtihad tatbiqi in the context of Islamic law development that is adaptive to social reality. Ijtihad istinbati focuses on determining the law based on shar'i principles, while ijtihad tatbiqi emphasizes the application of the law in the actual context. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach, examining classical and contemporary works of ushul fiqh that discuss the dynamics of ijtihad. The results show that the integration of the two types of ijtihad is very important in answering modern legal issues. Ijtihad istinbati provides a normative foundation, while ijtihad tatbiqi guarantees the relevance of the law to changing social conditions. This study emphasizes that the balance between text and context is key in developing Islamic law that is responsive and solution-oriented to the challenges of the times

    This study aims to examine the practice of female circumcision from three perspectives: Islamic fiqh, local culture, and the international approach known as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). This study uses a qualitative method with a multidisciplinary approach, through a literature review of classical and contemporary fiqh, cultural anthropology, and international documents. The results showed that in fiqh, female circumcision has different legal statuses depending on the school of thought, ranging from obligatory to sunnah or permissible. On the other hand, cultural practices are often mixed with elements of patriarchal tradition without a strong medical basis. Meanwhile, FGM is globally condemned as it is considered harmful to women's health. This study emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between religious teachings and harmful cultural practices, as well as the need for an educational and contextual approach in responding to this issue

    This study aims to analyze the Islamic finance industry from the perspective of human resource management, specifically related to the management of human resources in improving the operational effectiveness and performance of Islamic financial institutions. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach to several Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia. The results show that good human resource management, including recruitment, training, and employee development based on sharia principles, greatly affects service quality and customer satisfaction. In addition, challenges in managing SDI related to a deep understanding of sharia and a lack of competence in the managerial field are major obstacles in the development of this industry. This study recommends the need to increase the capacity of SDI in the sharia finance sector to create synergy between sharia principles and organizational goals

    Analisa Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dengan Metode LibQual dan WebQual

    Libraries for universities are an inseparable part because they are a reflection of the university in providing services. Commitment to service quality is needed so that managers always try to meet the expectations of their users. The service quality can be improved, one of the ways is by collecting important information from users about the services provided. The methods used to collect the information in the research were LibQual and WebQual. The purpose of the research was to determine user perceptions of the service quality and web services in UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library. The samples of the research were 100 users in UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library which was determined using accidental sampling technique. The number of samples was obtained using the Taro Yamane formula with a 10% error margin. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and were measured using a Likert scale. Results of the research show that the service quality of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library from the dimensions of service effect, control of information, and library as the place is very good with an average value of 3.47. The web quality of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library, which consists of quality of usability, quality of information, and quality of interaction, is very good, with an average score of 3.39. Things that library managers need to pay attention to are UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Library as the place for entertainment/recreation and a web display that is considered less attractive. The value of each item is 3.07 and 3.21, which means it is below the average value of this study.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu LibQual dan WebQual. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi pemustaka terhadap kualitas layanan dan layanan web di Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 100 sampel pemustaka di Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang ditentukan dengan accidental sampling. Jumlah sampel tersebut diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane dengan penggunaan margin of error 10%. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas layanan Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dari dimensi affect of service, information control, dan library  as  place adalah sangat baik dengan niali rata-rata 3,47. Kualitas web Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dilihat dari usability quality, information quality, dan interaction quality sangat baik, nilai rata-ratanya 3,39. Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dilihat dari tempat hiburan/rekreasi dan tampilan web yang dinilai kurang menarik. Nilai masing-masing item tersebut adalah 3,07 dan 3,21 yang artinya di bawah nilai rata-rata dari penelitian ini

    The Ngobeng Tradition in Palembang: Implementing Local Wisdom and Religious Moderation in Multicultural Education to Achieve Social Harmony

    Ngobeng tradition in Palembang is a community practice of serving food at religious and social events. This tradition has received increasing academic attention due to its role in building inter-group relations amidst increasing social and religious polarization in a multicultural society. In the context of multicultural education, Ngobeng is a learning tool that instills the values of togetherness, tolerance and respect for diversity in social life. The purpose of this study is to examine the contribution of Ngobeng tradition to multicultural education by combining local wisdom and religious moderation values to create social harmony. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, through participatory observation in the implementation of the Ngobeng tradition, in-depth interviews with community leaders and residents, and literature review of relevant cultural and educational theories. The results showed a dynamic integration between cultural practices and religious values. The Ngobeng tradition not only strengthens relationships between individuals across social and religious groups, but also serves as a medium for multicultural learning. Abstrak Tradisi Ngobeng di Palembang merupakan praktik masyarakat dalam menyajikan makanan pada acara keagamaan dan sosial. Tradisi ini semakin mendapat perhatian akademik karena perannya dalam membangun hubungan antar kelompok di tengah meningkatnya polarisasi sosial dan keagamaan di masyarakat multikultural. Dalam konteks pendidikan multikultural, Ngobeng menjadi sarana pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai kebersamaan, toleransi, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman dalam kehidupan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji  kontribusi tradisi Ngobeng  terhadap pendidikan multikultural dengan menggabungkan kearifan lokal dan nilai moderasi beragama untuk menciptakan harmoni sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, melalui observasi partisipatif dalam pelaksanaan tradisi Ngobeng, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat dan warga, serta telaah pustaka terhadap teori-teori budaya dan pendidikan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya integrasi yang dinamis antara praktik budaya dan nilai-nilai keagamaan.     Kh. Hasyim Muzadi’s Language Politeness Strategies in Responding The Different Perspective Between Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah: a Sociopragmatic Study

    This study highlights the concept of religious moderation as a strategic approach to mitigating conflicts that arise from differing religious viewpoints. The main objective of this research is to identify and explain the politeness strategies in language used by KH. Hasyim Muzadi (KHHM) in addressing national issues, using a socio-pragmatic approach. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. The data analyzed consists of utterances containing language politeness strategies, with the data sources being speeches and statements made by KHHM that were uploaded to YouTube gontortv. Data collection was conducted by searching various social media platforms, online news sources, and related manuscripts. Once relevant materials were found, the researcher downloaded and watched KHHM's speech videos, then transcribed all utterances containing elements of politeness in language. After gathering the data, the researcher classified and validated the findings based on their relevance to the research questions. The results of the study show that: (1) the concept of religious moderation is effective in reducing the potential for religious conflict in Indonesia; (2) language politeness strategies are proven to be effective in addressing differing viewpoints, particularly between Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, and in encouraging mutual respect among Muslims; (3) the implementation of these strategies is influenced by several factors, such as the interlocutor’s characteristics, the social situation, the topic of conversation, the purpose of communication, and its impact on social relations; and (4) KHHM’s application of language politeness has a positive impact in fostering humane communication and harmonious social relationships, allowing communities to live together in safety, peace, and harmony.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengangkat konsep moderasi beragama sebagai pendekatan strategis dalam meredam konflik yang timbul akibat perbedaan perspektif keagamaan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan strategi kesantunan berbahasa KH. Hasym Muzadi (KHHM) dalam merespons persoalan-persoalan kebangsaan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosio-pragmatik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dianalisis berupa tuturan yang mengandung strategi kesantunan berbahasa, sedangkan sumber data diperoleh dari pidato dan pernyataan KH. Hasyim Muzadi (KHHM) yang diunggah di platform YouTube gontortv. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelusuri berbagai media sosial, berita daring, dan naskah terkait. Setelah menemukan materi yang relevan, peneliti mengunduh dan menonton video pidato KHHM, kemudian mencatat seluruh tuturan yang mengandung unsur kesantunan berbahasa. Setelah data terkumpul, peneliti melakukan klasifikasi dan validasi berdasarkan kesesuaiannya dengan rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) konsep moderasi beragama efektif dalam mereduksi potensi konflik keagamaan di Indonesia; (2) strategi kesantunan berbahasa terbukti ampuh dalam merespons perbedaan pandangan, khususnya antara Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dan Muhammadiyah (MD), serta mampu mengajak umat Islam untuk saling menghargai perbedaan; (3) penerapan strategi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti karakteristik lawan tutur, situasi sosial, topik pembicaraan, tujuan komunikasi, serta dampaknya terhadap relasi sosial; dan (4) penerapan kesantunan berbahasa KHHM berdampak positif dalam membentuk komunikasi yang humanis dan hubungan sosial yang harmonis, sehingga masyarakat dapat hidup berdampingan secara aman, damai, dan tenteram.     Nusyūz Suami Dan Keadilan Gender: Membaca Ulang QS 4:128 dan KHI 83-4 dengan Pendekatan Relativisme Budaya

    Dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI), ketentuan nusyūz -pembangkangan dalam rumah tangga- hanya berlaku untuk istri dan diatur secara rinci oleh Pasal 80, 83, dan 84, dengan konsekuensi hukum berupa gugurnya hak nafkah istri. Sebaliknya, Al-Qur’an Surah (QS) An-Nisa (4): 128 secara jelas mengakui kemungkinan nusyuz yang dilakukan oleh suami, mencakup sikap kasar, tidak memenuhi kewajiban materi (nafkah) maupun non-materi (kasih sayang, hubungan intim), hingga ketidakadilan dalam poligami. Dengan demikian, di sini terjadi ketimpangan antara al-Quran dan KHI, sehingga dibutuhkan kajian ulang terhadap QS 4: 128 untuk mengaudiensi KHI pasal 80-84 sehingga tercipta peraturan yang didasarkan kepada ‘pandangan dunia al-Quran’ (Quranic worldview). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan relativisme budaya untuk menganalisa data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui investigasi dari undang-undang serta konteks dan fitur linguistic QS 4: 128. Penelitian ini menemukan terjadinya kekosongan hukum positif mengenai nusyuz suami yang berpotensi menciptakan ketidakseimbangan dan ketidakadilan bagi istri yang menghadapi perilaku nusyuz dari suaminya. Kekosongan ini terjadi karena apabila pembangkangan dalam rumah tangga dilakukan oleh istri, maka disebut nusyuz, sementara apabila pembangkangan dilakukan oleh suami, maka disebut KDRT (Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga). Ini menunjukkan kepada kerancuan pemahaman terhadap dua terminology ini, karena istri bisa saja melakukan KDRT, sementara suami bisa saja melakukan nusyūz. Penelitian ini memberi rekomendasi agar pengaturan hukum positif Indonesia perlu ditinjau ulang untuk mencerminkan prinsip keadilan Islam yang lebih inklusif dan seimbang, sebagaimana pandangan dunia al-Quran, guna memastikan perlindungan hukum yang setara bagi kedua belah pihak dalam perkawinan

    Pop-Up Book Design as an Effective Tool for Promoting Creativity in the Eighth Grade Social Studies Learning

    Based on the results of observations conducted in class VIII D IPS SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh, it is known that the level of student creativity is still low. The low creativity is mainly caused by the learning method that is less interesting and the involvement of students actively and effectively. This study aims to apply Pop-Up Book learning media to improve student creativity. Pop-Up Book media was chosen because it has visual and interactive qualities that can stimulate learning interest and improve students' cognitive and affective development. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method, by utilizing the 4D development model which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study showed that Pop-Up Book learning media was able to improve student creativity using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach. In the comparison of the results of cycles 1 and 2 of this study, there was a significant increase in student creativity. In cycle I, the average value of 64.17 increased to 84.17 in cycle II. Pop-Up Book media has proven to be a practical, interactive and innovative learning tool and functions to train and develop students' creativity in learning activities

    Peningkatan Keterampilan Sosial dan Hasil Belajar IPS Melalui Metode Investigasi Kelompok di SMP Negeri 11 Madiun

    Sebagian besar peserta didik kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 11 Madiun masih menghadapi kendala dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial mereka. Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar IPS melalui metode investigasi kelompok. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 11 Madiun sejumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif secara rata-rata dan persentase yaitu dengan menginventarisasi dan memadukan seluruh informasi yang diperoleh dari tiap siklus. Penelitian ini berlangsung dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan sosial pada pra siklus sebesar 34,37%, siklus I sebesar 62,50%, serta pada siklus II sebesar 81,25%. Sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar tampak dari persentase capaian KKTP pra siklus sebesar 31,25%, siklus I sebesar 62,50%, serta siklus II sebesar 87,50%. Kesimpulannya adalah metode investigasi kelompok dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar peserta didik.   ABSTRACT Most students in class VIIB of SMP Negeri 11 Madiun struggle to develop social skills. In addition, many of them have not achieved the expected learning outcomes. This research aimed to determine the improvement of social skills and the result of social studies learning outcomes through the group investigation method. This classroom action research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 32 students in class VIIB of SMP Negeri 11 Madiun. Data collection techniques were observation and tests. Data analysis used descriptive statistics on average and percentage by inventorying and combining all information obtained from each cycle. This research lasted two cycles, each consisting of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in social skills in the pre-cycle of 34.37%, cycle I of 62.50%, and cycle II of 81.25%. Meanwhile, the increase in learning outcomes was seen from the percentage of achievement of KKTP in the pre-cycle of 31.25%, cycle I of 62.50%, and cycle II of 87.50%. The conclusion is that the group investigation method can improve students' social skills and learning outcomes

    Boarding School as A Model for Character Education Development to Realize the Profile of Pancasila Students

    This study aims to analyze the character education model implemented at the boarding school SMAN Bali Mandara and its implications for the Pancasila Student Profile. The background of this research is based on the change in status of SMAN Bali Mandara from a boarding school to a regular school in the 2022/2023 academic year and its impact on student character. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires directed at the principal, teachers, dormitory head, and students. The results of the study show that boarding schools have advantages in shaping student character through a holistic education program, including intracurricular activities, extracurricular activities, Pancasila Student Profile strengthening projects, and school culture. This research concludes that boarding schools can be an effective model in the development of character education to realize the Pancasila Student Profile
