Get PDFThe La Galigo epoch is an important literary work that depicts the deep intercultural relationship between the archipelago and China. The story, which focuses on Sawerigading's adventures, not only presents an epic story but also reflects the significant cultural, economic, and political exchanges in Southeast Asia's maritime region. Since the 7th century, the archipelago has been a vital trade route connecting various cultures, with Chinese traders playing a key role in the flow of goods and knowledge. Through the La Galigo Epos, it can be seen how elements of Chinese culture, including shipping technology, trade practices, and social values, have contributed to the development of the archipelago's cultural identity. This integration not only enriches the local culture, but also expands the social and economic horizons of the community. The relationship between the two cultures is the foundation for emerging social and governmental dynamics, demonstrating the positive impact as well as the challenges faced in complex cultural interactions. This epoch is not just a story, but also a historical document that provides important insights into the development of maritime cultural identity in Southeast Asia. Get PDFThe phenomenon f fatherly parenting plays a vital role in shaping the emotional and social experiences of daughters, particularly in forming romantic relationships. The role of fathers is often overlooked in parenting, even though it significantly influences the development of a daughter's personality and interpersonal relationships. Fathers who are emotionally involved can provide a sense of security, confidence, and an understanding of love. This study aims to describe the experiences of young adult women regarding their fathers' parenting roles and their impact on romantic relationships. This study adopts a phenomenological approach using purposive sampling techniques. The research was conducted over four months, and data were collected through interviews and observations. Five participants aged 18 to 25 years, with experiences of both positive and negative fatherly parenting and a history of romantic relationships, were involved in this study. The results show that positive fatherly parenting fosters positive romantic relationship experiences, such as the ability to build trust and intimacy. Conversely, hostile fatherly parenting leads to negative relationship patterns, such as distrust or a need for emotional validation. The lack of fatherly parenting also drives women to seek a father figure in others and to feel less trustful toward their partners. These findings demonstrate that the father's role in parenting has a significant impact on young adult women's romantic relationships

Get PDFBreakfast is an activity of eating and drinking from waking up until 9am. Breakfast mainly consists of sources of fiber, high protein, and low fat. If breakfast is often left out, it can affect the nutritional status and level of learning concentration in students. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation of breakfast habits on nutritional status and the level of student learning concentration at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School. The method of this study was quantitative correlation with a crosssectional design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling with the number of samples in this study was 85 students in class VII and VIII who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The data obtained were statistically tested using the Chi-Square test. Based on the test results that have been conducted, Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School students on average had breakfast habits that falls into the occasional category 43.52%, on average had normal nutritional status 56.47%, and the average level of learning concentration was good 57.64%. There was no relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status of students at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School (p=0.088), and there was a significant relationship between breakfast habits and students' learning concentration at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School (p=0.000)

Get PDFGreen Companies are a necessity for businesses to ensure sustainability in environmental management, preventing pollution and environmental damage during construction, production, or when products or services are used by customers, even up to the point of disposal. To provide satisfaction to tourists, tourist attractions must have adequate facilities to support the needs of tourists during their visit and to fulfill their expectations. Green industries and tourism play a crucial role in local economic development and environmental conservation. This study aims to provide assistance to green industries and tourism facilities in Kampung Batik Malon, focusing on sustainable development and empowerment of the local community. Assistance is provided through skills training to improve the quality of batik products and introduce environmentally friendly production techniques. In addition, the development of tourism facilities, such as homestays based on local culture and interactive batik galleries, is implemented to enhance the attractiveness of the tourist destination. Local community empowerment is carried out through participation in the decision-making process and the establishment of cooperatives to improve market access. The assistance also involves a sustainable approach to managing industrial waste and promoting environmentally friendly practices. The results of this assistance implementation show a significant increase in the quality of batik products, an increase in the number of tourist visits, and an increase in the income of the local community. Additionally, Kampung Batik Malon has successfully reduced its environmental impact through more sustainable production practices. Therefore, this activity contributes to sustainable development by demonstrating that the integration of green industries and tourism can be a successful model for strengthening the local economy while preserving the environment. Furthermore, this research provides guidance for other villages that wish to adopt a similar approach in developing the local potential of tourist attractions
Sosialisasi Kreativitas, Komunikasi, serta Sadar Lingkungan: Pendampingan Siswa dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Public Speaking
Get PDFEducation plays an important role in student development, especially in developing effective communication skills or public speaking. This community service aims to improve the creativity and public speaking skills of students at SDN Sumput, Sidoarjo, through socialization activities for making flower pots from plastic bottle waste. The main problems identified were the lack of self-confidence and public speaking skills among grade 5 students. Lack of interest and motivation as well as fear of public speaking hinder the learning process. The implementation method includes environmental observation, problem identification, activity coordination, and implementation of socialization and mentoring. This socialization was carried out on July 29, 2024, involving 15 students divided into 3 groups. Students were accompanied by KKN students in the process of recycling plastic bottles into flower pots and were trained in public speaking through presentations of their work. The results of this activity show that students not only improve their creative and public speaking skills, but also understand the importance of waste management and environmental awareness

Selain itu, orang tua asuh juga dapat mengakses informasi ini secara real-time, sehingga mereka dapat ikut terlibat dalam perkembangan pendidikan agama anak-anak mereka. Melalui penggunaan aplikasi ini, diharapkan akan lebih mudah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang terstruktur, memberikan motivasi tambahan kepada anak-anak untuk belajar Al-Qur'an, dan menguatkan hubungan antara pengajar, anak-anak, serta orang tua asuh di Panti Asuhan Al-Husna. Dalam rangka menyebarluaskan inovasi ini, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul "Workshop Pembuatan dan Pelatihan Aplikasi Android Untuk Sistem Poin Tugas Mengaji untuk Panti Asuhan Al-Husna." Workshop ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan praktis kepada para pengajar dan pengelola panti asuhan mengenai cara pembuatan dan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, sehingga mereka dapat memaksimalkan potensi teknologi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama anak-anak di panti asuhan
Analisis Perilaku Ekonomi Generasi Z Muslim dalam Berbelanja Online di E-Commerce dari Sudut Pandang Islam di Kecamatan Mamuju
Get PDFThis study aims to analyse the economic behaviour in online shopping of generation Z Islam in Mamuju District from the perspective of Islamic consumption behaviour. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through interviews with generation Z Muslim informants from five groups/communities in Mamuju Sub-district to explore their experiences in online shopping in e-commerce and how it is analysed from an Islamic perspective. The results showed that based on an Islamic perspective, the informants' consumption behaviour can be explained as follows: 1) They choose products based on cleanliness, quality, and authenticity. 2) Informants buy goods based on rating, price, description, user reviews, and bestseller status so that online transactions become transparent and honest. 3) Informants shop simply, according to their needs and financial capabilities, and shop 2-3 times per month on average. 4) Informants do not buy goods that are prohibited in Islam and help the economy. 5) They avoid impulsiveness by putting items in the basket first before buying, and the majority use the pay-on-site (COD) and ShopeePay methods to comply with religious rules. The conclusion of this study is that the majority of informants behave in accordance with consumption ethics in Islam, although there are a small number who are not yet in accordance due to the influence of changing times and lack of self-control in making economic decisions

Based on financial data listed on the IDX, the growth of the cement industry in Indonesia has the opportunity to grow accompanied by soaring market demand for both private and government infrastructure development. With this research, it is useful to know the calculation of financial performance through financial statement analysis. This research uses non-statistical quantitative methods. The secondary data source is the financial statements of cement subsector BUMN companies using the EVA and MVA methods which can be accessed through the official IDX and company websites. Sampling using purposive sampling method that uses several criteria. The results of the calculation of EVA three companies in 2020 - 2023 in a row are positive, which means that adding value to the company's capital costs results in an income figure above zero in other words there is no minus. While the results of the calculation of two companies in 2022 are negative, which means that they do not add value to the company's capital costs, resulting in income below zero, in other words, minus. The results of the calculation of MVA in all cement sub-sector companies in 2020 - 2023 are positive, which means that adding value to the company's shares results in an income figure above zero, in other words, there is no minu

This research aims to determine the effect of price discounts and self-concept on purchasing decisions for Skintific products on Tiktok Shop. The research used is quantitative research with variables of price discount, self-concept, and purchasing decisions. By using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and documentation and using purposive random sampling techniques with a total of 100 respondents who use Skintific products. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of this research explain that price discounts and self-concept have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions both partially and simultaneously. That way, Skintific can maintain price discounts by providing relatively the same discounts on its products.
