This research seeks to identify the sources and locations of arithmetic learning challenges related to integer counting operations. Class VI, which is the focus of this study, has an average math score that is lower than the KKM. Methods such as tests, observations, and interviews are used to gather data. Students' mastery of the topic of whole number counting operations was assessed using the test technique, which consisted of a 10-question essay. Finding out how the subject is doing during math learning activities and what variables could influence math learning are both accomplished via the use of the observation technique. The purpose of the interview was to get a clear understanding of the challenges that students have while studying the content for integer counting operations. Fifty percent of students had trouble with skills, 23.3% had trouble with ideas, and 20% had trouble with problem solving, according to the data from the final analysis. This includes students in the adequate group. Teachers are encouraged to shape mathematics teaching patterns based on more than just pupils' problem-solving abilities. More significant, however, is figuring out how to encourage pupils to comprehend and fully grasp current ideas so that they do not have any trouble understanding mathematics.&nbsp

Increased coffee intake and sleep quality can affect the body so that it can have side effects on changes in nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between coffee consumption and sleep quality with nutritional status in Civil Engineering students at UNESA. This research design is using cross sectional. Data collection using questionnaires and anthropometric measurements of height and weight. The subjects in this study amounted to 62 people. Analysis of the relationship between coffee consumption variables and sleep quality with nutritional status using Spearman Rank test analysis. The results showed that there were 5 (9,09%) underweight students, 35 (63,6%) normal nutritional status, and 15 (27.2%) overweight students. Coffee consumption habits are classified as low as 9 people (16.3%), moderate as many as 44 people (80%), and high as many as 2 people (3.6%). Sleep quality was in the bad category as many as 43 people (78,1%) and in the good category as many as 12 people (21,8%). This study shows that the relationship between coffee consumption and nutritional status (p=0.179) and the relationship between sleep quality and nutritional status (p=0.949). Consuming a good amount of coffee and quality sleep will not affect nutritional status. Other factors that influence nutritional status are physical activity and food intake. The conclusion of this research is that there is no relationship between coffee consumption and nutritional status or sleep quality and nutritional status in UNESA Final Year Civil Engineering students. It is recommended that data be heterogeneous so that it can be more varied and not homogeneous. &nbsp

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the problem-based learning model (PBL) with a STEM approach on the mathematical problem solving ability of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 17 Medan. This research was conducted at SMP N 17 Medan T.A 2023/2024. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely class VIII-3 as an experimental class taught with a PBL model with a STEM approach and class VIII-4 as a control class taught with conventional models. Based on descriptive statistics and categorization of research results, it was found that the mathematical problem solving ability of experimental class students was 67,74% of students in the high category, 32.26% of other students in the medium category, and no students in the low category. Meanwhile, in the control class, 15,63% of students were in the high level of problem solving ability, 53,13% were in the medium level and 31,24% of students were in the category low category. Thus it can be seen that the mathematical problem solving ability of grade students taught with PBL with a STEM approach is better than conventional learning models. Furthermore, with inferential statistical analysis for the t test, calculated t value = 2,42 and ttable = 1,999623, thus t calculated > t table means that the problem-solving ability of students taught with PBL with a STEM approach is not the same as students who use the learning  conventional model. With further analysis, Fcalculated = 5,6847 and F table = 3,998494482, then  calculated F > F table so it can be concluded that problem-based learning models with a STEM approach have a significant effect on students' mathematical problem solving abilities
