IMPLEMENTATION OF GROUP COUNSELING SERVICES WITH SOLUTION FOCUSED BRIEF COUNSELING MODEL TO IMPROVE CAREER SELF-EFFICACY
Implementing guidance and counseling in school learning is necessary, considering that students are in adolescence. At this stage, a person experiences many physical and psychological transitions that should affect his behavior, including when preparing for career choices, clarity and expectations of future work, and career self-efficacy. Applying the Solution Focused Brief Counseling model is a form of intervention that is applied in implementing cognitive improvement in a person, which focuses on finding solutions to solve problems. This study aimed at measuring the success rate of implementing Group Counseling Services with the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) Model to Increase Students' Career Self-Efficacy. This study used a class action research method with eight students. The research was conducted through 2 cycles, beginning with the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting on each cycle. The tools used were observational tools to measure professional self-efficacy. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by describing the facts collected and presented in descriptions. The result of this study is an increase in career self-efficacy in students after being given group counseling services with the SFBC model. Based on the results of the implementation of classroom action research that has been carried out, it is hoped that in the future, counseling teachers will become one of the alternative methods of implementing counseling in schools
THE INFLUENCE OF SELF-EFFICACY, SELF-ACTUALIZATION, AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVES OF CLASS XII STUDENTS OF SMA ADHYAKSA I KOTA JAMBI
This study aims to analyse the effect of self-efficacy, self-actualisation, and the learning environment both individually and collectively on achievement motives in class XII students at SMA Adhyaksa 1 Jambi. This research is classified as research with the type of expost-facto using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all XII grade students at Adhyaksa 1 Jambi High School totalling 134 people, and the sampling technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistical methods using simple regression and multiple regression techniques. The results of this study prove that self-efficacy has a significant effect on student achievement motives with a magnitude of influence of 49.1%. Self-actualisation variables have a significant effect on student achievement motives with a large influence of 49.9%. The learning environment variable has a significant effect on the motive for achievement in students with a magnitude of influence given of 34.2%. The results of multiple regression analysis prove that together the variables of self-efficacy, self-actualisation and learning environment have a significant effect on students' achievement motives with a value of the influence given of 60.4%
TEACHER’S EFFORTS IN OVERCOMING PAI LEARNING DIFFICULTIES JUDGING FROM THE LEARNING STYLES OF STUDENTS AT SMA PATRA MANDIRI 01 PALEMBANG
Learning difficulties can occur if the teacher is not qualified in taking learning methods. Therefore, teachers need to facilitate learning in the classroom according to the learning styles of students. This study aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students as well as complement previous studies on the efforts that teachers can make in overcoming these difficulties. This type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity techniques use triangulation techniques. The results showed the form of PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) learning difficulties of visual students in the form of difficulty reading the Qur'an and slow to understand learning material, auditory students namely difficulty reading the Qur'an, difficulty writing Arabic letters, and slow in memorization, and kinesthetic students namely difficulty reading the Qur'an and slow in memorization. The efforts of PAI teachers in overcoming visual learners' learning difficulties are using audio-visual learning media when explaining material and marking important things with color variations. To overcome the learning difficulties of auditory students, namely using audio-visual learning media when explaining learning material, inviting students to read aloud, and using discussion methods and group assignments. EFEKTIVITAS METODE OLSI (OWN IT, LEARN IT, SHARE IT) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Petang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan implementasi metode OLSI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 yang berjumlah 33 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar biologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tahapan tiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berupa data motivasi belajar menggunakan angket motivasi belajar dan data prestasi belajar menggunakan tes prestasi belajar, selanjutnya dianalisis secara diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI IPA4 SMAN 1 Petang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dilihat dari peningkatan rerata motivasi belajar Biologi siswa sebesar 79,98 (kategori tinggi) pada siklus I, menjadi 86,63 (kategori sangat tinggi) pada siklus II. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA N 1 Petang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 melalui implementasi metode OLSI. Dilihat dari peningkatan rerata prestasi belajar biologi siswa sebesar 73,03 (kategori cukup) pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 89.00 (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II.
This study aims to increase learning motivation and learning achievement in Biology class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Petang for the 2021/2022 academic year by implementing the OLSI method. This research is a classroom action research, with 33 students in class XI MIPA 4 as subjects. The object of this research is learning motivation and achievement in learning biology. This research was conducted in two cycles, the stages of each cycle were planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The data collected are learning motivation using a learning motivation questionnaire and learning achievement data using a learning achievement test, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an increase in the motivation to study Biology, seen from the increase in the average student motivation to study Biology by 79.98 (high category) in cycle I, to 86.63 (very high category) in cycle II. In addition, there was an increase in biology learning achievement for class XI MIPA 4 SMAN 1 Petang for the 2021/2022 academic year through the implementation of the OLSI method. Judging from the increase in the average student achievement in biology by 73.03 (enough category) in cycle I, it increased to 89.00 (very good category) in cycle II
PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KUANTUM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PKN SISWA SD NEGERI TULANGAMPIANG
Latar belakang dilakukan Penelitian ini karena adanya kesulitan yang dialami siswa kelas VI B pada semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada mata pejalaran PKn. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PKn menggunakan model pembelajaran kuantum. Model dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian Mc. Kernan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI B semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 di SD Negeri Tulangampiang dengan jumlah 42 siswa. Data hasil penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara pemberian tes prestasi belajar. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini terdiri dari data awal, data siklus I dan data Siklus II. Dari data awal diperoleh rata-rata kelas baru mencapai nilai 73,17 dan ketuntasan belajarnya baru mencapai 36%. Data ini jauh di bawah harapan mengingat KKM mata pelajaran PKn di sekolah ini adalah 75. Pada siklus I sudah terjadi peningkatan yaitu rata-rata kelasnya mencapai 76,64 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 71%. Pada siklus II perolehan rata-rata kelas sudah mencapai 82,86 dan persentase ketuntasan belajarnya sudah mencapai 98%. Data pada Siklus II ini sudah sesuai harapan akibat penggunaan model pembelajaran yang sifatnya konstruktivis. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah model pembelajaran kuantum dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar PKn siswa kelas VI B semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 di SD Negeri Tulangampiang.
The background to this research was due to the difficulties experienced by class VI B students in semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year in the Civics subject. The purpose of this study is to improve learning achievement in Civics subjects using the Kuantum learning model. The model in this study uses the Mc research model. Kernan. The subjects of this study were students of class VI B semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year at the Tulangampiang Elementary School with a total of 42 students. Data from this study were collected by administering a learning achievement test. Research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The data generated from this study consisted of initial data, cycle I data and cycle II data. From the initial data, it was obtained that the average class value was 73.17 and the learning completeness was only 36%. This data is far below expectations considering that the KKM for Civics subjects in this school is 75. In cycle I there has been an increase, namely the class average reached 76.64 and the percentage of learning completeness reached 71%. In cycle II, the class average acquisition has reached 82.86 and the percentage of learning completeness has reached 98%. The data in Cycle II are as expected due to the use of a constructivist learning model. The conclusion obtained is that the Kuantum learning model can improve the learning achievement of Civics students of class VI B semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year at Tulangampiang Elementary School
PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PKN KELAS VI A SDN 10 SUMERTA
Pelaksanaan penelitian ini berlokasi di SD Negeri 10 Sumerta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam proses pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI A semester I tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Sedangkan objek penelitian adalah prestasi belajar PKn. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari nilai rata-rata awal 66,86 naik menjadi 77,11 pada siklus I dan naik menjadi 85,79 pada siklus II. Hasil pada siklus II sudah sesuai harapan indikator keberhasilan penelitian oleh karenanya penelitian ini tidak dilanjutkan ke siklus berikutnya. Dengan perolehan data tersebut dapat dipastikan bahwa penerapan model CTL dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima.
The implementation of this research is located at SD Negeri 10 Sumerta which aims to determine the increase in student achievement after applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in the learning process. The research subjects were class VI A students in semester I of the 2020/2021 academic year. While the object of research is the learning achievement of Civics. The research data was collected using a learning achievement test, while the data analysis technique was carried out using a descriptive qualitative method. The research data showed that from the initial average value of 66.86 it rose to 77.11 in cycle I and rose to 85.79 in cycle II. The results in cycle II were in accordance with the expectations of indicators of research success, therefore this research was not continued to the next cycle. With the acquisition of these data it can be ascertained that the application of the CTL model in the implementation of the learning process is able to improve student achievement so that the hypothesis proposed can be accepted
MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ECIRR PADA SISWA KELAS XI MIPA 3 SMA NEGERI 1 MENGWI
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa terhadap penerapan model belajar ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa XI MIPA 3 semester ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 38 orang, sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar fisika. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ketuntasan secara klasikal minimal 85%. Data hasil belajar fisika diperoleh menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model belajar ECIRR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika, peningkatan skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika sebesar 18,38 dari 69,65 menjadi 88,03 dan peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal 55,26 % dari awal 42,11% sampai siklus II sebesar 97,37%.
This classroom actionbased research was aimed at determining the magnitude of the increase in students’ Physics learning outcomes through the application of the ECIRR learning model. The subjects of this study were 38 students of XI MIPA 3 in Odd semester for the academic year of 2022/2023. Meanwhile, the object of this reseach was the results of students’ learning physics. Data Collection were obtained through some methods, namely: documentation, observation, and test. In addition, the method of data analysis was Descriptive qualitative analysis. The criteria of learning completeness that was designed in this study was classically completed at least 85%. The data on students’ physical learning outcomes were obtained by using a learning achievement test. Class action research results found that learning Physics with learning model ECIRR can improve students’ average physics learning outcomes in about 18,38, from 69,65 to 88,03 and there was an improvement of classical learning completeness in about 55, 26% from the beginning that was 42,11% to 97,37% in cycle II
EFFECTIVENESS OF ONLINE LEARNING IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT STUDY PROGRAM AT RUNATA BUSINESS COLLEGE
This research aims to find out the effectiveness of online learning in the Hospitality and Tourism Management Study Program at Runata Business College. This research is descriptive analysis study by using a quantitative approach. The data were collected by using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation methods. The number of samples used in this study was 30 students who were determined based on the census sample method. The validity test in this study used Alpha Cronbach, while data analysis used simple linear regression. The results of this study found that effectiveness had a positive and significant effect on online learning, with a value of 0.029<0.050 which identifying that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted
WORDY CARD FOR AN INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHOD FOR LEARNING ENGLISH
The foundation of learning a new language is vocabulary. Teaching vocabulary has been done in conjunction with teaching other language skills. Due to their little language knowledge, students continue to have trouble speaking. Meanwhile, senior high school students must get ready for either further education or the realm of industrial job. To address this issue, innovative teaching strategies in English are required. In this study, How Wordy card games can be used as innovative teaching tools to help kids in senior high school develop their vocabulary. Students in classes X, XI, and XII at SMK TI Bali Global Denpasar and SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar are the data sources. Techniques for gathering data that involve both direct observation and interviews. Data are analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach, and they are then presented in a narrative format. The R&D procedures were modified from Borg and Gall's (1983) ten-cycle method of creating wordy cards. This study created a special card game that can be played at all educational levels and is particularly beneficial to teachers in their vocabulary instruction
DEVELOPING DIGITAL TEACHING MODULE OF SOCIAL-SCIENCE SUBJECT BASED STEAM METHOD FOR GRADE FOUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS: Pendidikan Dasar
Digital learning modules continue the trend for future literacy modules. The covid 19 pandemic, which has paralyzed practically all sectors of economic and educationally life, has played a role in accelerating to use of digital learning modules. Student are forced to study individually from home using digital platforms. A digital modules is a digital book expected to enable students to study independently, with or without a facilitator. This research aims to develop a digital learning module on STEAM based method science-social subjects for graders. This research used the EDDIE development model, which consists of five phases; analyze, design, implementation and evaluate. The characteristic of digital learning modules include five parts; components, displys, materials, learning activities and research systems. Content validation used the Gregory formula with the results of the validity test classifiled as valid; material and media feasibility test used LORI formula with test results included in the very feasible category; practically testing used the User Experience Questions (UEQ) quistionaire method with test results included in the excellent or very hight category; and the effectiveness of the product was tested using an assessment in the form of essay with everage student score of 82.4, which is incluede in the 90% completeness category. The development of digital teaching modules aims to improve students’ ability to understands STEAM based method on social-science subjects, increase student achievement in practicing module materials in the form of literacy and numeracy through worksheet and projects activities, and improve students’s ability in digital technology teaching module independently, which are easy to use anytime-anywhere
