    Identification of Corn Plant Diseases Using the Forward Chaining Method: Identifikasi Penyakit Tumbuhan Jagung Menggunakan Metode Forward Chaining

    Corn is a major agricultural commodity in Indonesia that plays an important role as a source of food and animal feed. However, its productivity often decreases due to disease attacks that are difficult for farmers to identify. This study aims to develop a website-based expert system using the Forward Chaining method to diagnose corn diseases quickly and accurately. This method works by tracing the symptoms given by the user and matching them with the rules in the knowledge base. Data were collected through literature studies and interviews with farmers, then modeled in the form of a decision tree. The results of this study are expected to help farmers in recognizing types of corn diseases independently and provide recommendations for appropriate control to increase crop yields and agricultural efficiency

    Quarter Life-Crisis is a state of feeling that arises when individuals reach their twenties, where they will feel worried about the future, especially related to work and the surrounding environment. This correlational quantitative research aims to analyze the role of Religiosity and Loneliness on quarter life crisis. The population in this study were active students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) totaling 8,972. This study involved a sample of 263 respondents, by applying accidental sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is to use three psychological scales namely the quarter life crisis scale, religiosity scale and loneliness scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with the IBM SPSS version 26.0 program for windows. The results of this study, that there is a significant role between religiosity and loneliness on quarter life crisis, which is 23%.&nbsp

    The success or failure of learning can be known by one way to find out students' perceptions of the learning that is taking place. This study aims to examine students' perceptions of Arabic language learning using the Independent Curriculum implemented at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. The main problem raised is how students view the effectiveness and implementation of this curriculum in supporting Arabic language learning. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and students were the main data sources. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of Arabic language learning in the Independent Curriculum. They felt that this curriculum made the learning process easier through a relevant, interactive, and fun approach.&nbsp

    This study aims to evaluate the extent to which fear of missing out (FoMO) and self-control affect the level of addiction to the TikTok social media platform. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a correlational method. The research subjects consisted of 250 MTs students, with the sample selection carried out using the simple random sampling technique based on the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 5%.  Data collection was conducted using an instrument in the form of a psychological questionnaire consisting of three scales, namely the FoMO scale (X1), self-control scale (X2), and TikTok addiction scale (Y). The collected data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software. The analysis results show that both FoMO and self-control have a significant and positive influence on TikTok addiction, as indicated by a significance value of p < .001.&nbsp

    This study aims to determine the relationship between self-acceptance and narcissistic tendencies in students who use Instagram social media in Sidoarjo. The hypothesis proposed is that researchers argue that there is a relationship between self-acceptance and narcissistic tendencies. The method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this study was 23,039 and the sample was 85 using G-Power with random sampling technique. The result is a significant relationship that obtained a value (rxy) of 0.285. Hypothesis testing shows a significance value of 0.008, so the hypothesis can be accepted, and R Square is 8.1%. So it can be concluded that self-acceptance is weak against narcissistic tendencies, for that further researchers are expected to add other variables that have coverage of narcissistic tendencies

    Outpatient rehabilitation is a non-invasive rehabilitation service provided to patients and drug users for a certain period of time. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of outpatient rehabilitation services on the quality of life of drug abuse clients at the Sidoarjo BNNK Institution. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The subjects of the study consisted of 10 clients. The results showed that the p value for the four physical, psychological, social relations, and environmental aspects was <0.001. This indicates that there was a significant increase in the quality of life of clients after undergoing outpatient rehabilitation services, because the p value was <0.05. Initial and final measurements showed an increase in each aspect, namely the physical aspect by 19%, the psychological aspect by 23%, the social relations aspect by 20%, and the environmental aspect by 24%

    Life in Islamic boarding schools is considered effective in achieving psychological well-being, as students are actively involved in beneficial activities. In shaping adolescent personality, understanding psychological well-being is important, including physical changes during puberty, especially in girls. Hormonal changes during puberty cause different physical developments, which often disturb psychological well-being due to body dissatisfaction and social comparison. This study aims to examine the role of body dissatisfaction and social comparison on psychological well-being. The population consisted of 948 female students. The sampling technique used the Krejcie Morgan table, resulting in a sample of 255 students. Data were collected using body dissatisfaction, social comparison, and psychological well-being scales. This research employed a quantitative correlational method with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 29. Based on the simultaneous test (F test), the result showed an F-value of 44.457 with a significance level of p < 0.001

    Adolescence is transition period from childhood to adulthood marked by physical, biological, socio-emotional, cognitive changes. During this period, adolescents are often influenced by psychological factors such as FoMO and peer conformity, which encourage impulsive buying behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between FoMO, peer conformity, impulsive buying in late adolescent Shopee PayLater users in Sidoarjo. With quantitative correlational approach, this study involved 383 respondents aged 18–22 years who were selected using accidental sampling techniques. The research instruments included the FoMO scale, peer conformity, impulsive buying which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of JASP version 17. The results showed a p value of 0.001 <0.05, which means that theres significant relationship between FoMO and peer conformity with impulsive buying, with a contribution of 73.1%. FoMO, peer conformity each have significant positive effect on impulsive buying

    Water treatment at the Kedunguling Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has an impact on the environment due to the use of chemicals during the water purification process. This study aims to determine the environmental impact of the Kedunguling water treatment plant and determine the best alternative to reduce the impact on the environment at the Kedunguling water treatment plant. The method used to analyze environmental impacts is Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and AHP to provide the best alternative. The results obtained are the impact of the flocculation process on water treatment provides the highest global warming impact, which is 71244.1 kg CO2-eq while the sedimentation process provides the highest eutrophication impact of 1.86E-03 kg CO2-eq. The best alternative to minimize the environmental impact caused by the water treatment process is to maximize sudge treatment before discharging into the river with a weight percentage of 42%
