Implementation of Variable Frequency Drive and Modbus RTU RS-485 Communication for Induction Motor Speed Control: Implementasi Variable Frequency Drive dan Komunikasi Modbus RTU RS-485 untuk Pengendalian Kecepatan Motor Induksi
With the advancement of industrial technology, there is a growing demand for efficient and automated motor control systems, especially for small-scale applications that require cost-effective solutions. This study investigates the speed control of a three-phase induction motor using the LS G100 inverter and LS XBM-DR16S PLC via Modbus RTU RS-485 communication, without additional expansion modules. The approach combines technical design and experimental testing. Results show that the system can accurately control motor speed (RPM accuracy: 99.6%, voltage: 97.2%, current: 91.1%), making it a reliable and economical solution for small to medium-scale industrial automation
Mind Mapping Implementation of Fiqh Learning Based on Middle Eastern Curriculum: Implementasi Mind Mapping Pembelajaran Fiqih Berbasis Kurikulum Timur Tengah
This study aims to describe the implementation of the mind mapping approach in learning fiqh based on the Middle East Curriculum at MBS A.R. Fachruddin Yogyakarta. Qualitative method with a phenomenological approach that aims to collect data about the phenomenon under study without generalisation. The results showed that mind mapping helps students understand complex fiqh concepts more systematically, improves memory, and encourages active involvement and critical thinking of students during the learning process. Implementation was carried out on 30 junior high school students in class IX and was carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation, with study material on the Zakat Fitrah chapter in the book of Zaadul Mustaqni. This research confirms that the mind mapping approach can be a bridge between the traditional talaqqi method and the needs of more modern and participatory learning
Let’s Explore Surabaya Zoo: A Visual-Based Learning Media for Early Literacy and Environmental Awareness: Ayo Jelajahi Kebun Binatang Surabaya: Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Visual untuk Literasi Dini dan Kesadaran Lingkungan
This article discusses the development and implementation of "Let’s Explore Surabaya Zoo!", an interactive flipbook designed for second-grade elementary students to support early literacy and environmental awareness. The flipbook features vivid illustrations and simple descriptive texts about animals in Surabaya Zoo, aiming to enhance vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, and foster an appreciation for biodiversity. Through the use of visual and interactive elements, the flipbook engages students in multisensory learning experiences. The development process follows the ASSURE instructional model, ensuring that the product is both pedagogically effective and aligned with the Indonesian national curriculum. The article also emphasizes the importance of integrating local content and environmental education, highlighting the potential of low-tech tools in modern classrooms. The findings suggest that the flipbook effectively improves student engagement, language skills, and environmental awareness, making it a valuable resource in early childhood education
Analysis of Potential Bankruptcy Using the Altman Z-Score Method in Plastic and Packaging Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the IDX For The 2020-2022 Period : Analisis Potensi Kebangkrutan Menggunakan Metode Altman Z-Score terhadap Perusahaan Sub Sektor Plastik dan Kemasan yang Terdaftar di BEI Periode 2020-2022
This research relates to the use of the Altman Z-Score Method, using quantitative descriptive techniques to evaluate the risk of bankruptcy of plastic and packaging subsector businesses listed on the IDX between 2020 and 2022. The financial statements of nine plastic and packaging subsector companies are the source of secondary data in this study. The Altman Z-Score analysis method is used to analyze the possibility of bankruptcy of plastic and packaging subsector companies listed on the IDX in order to identify whether a company is in a safe zone or bankrupt. This is done by combining five different types of financial ratios, namely working capital to total assets (X1), retained earnings to total assets (X2), EBIT to total assets (X3), stock market value to total book value of total debt (X4), and sales of total assets (X5).
Design and Construction of Waste Separation Equipment for Industrial Companies: Rancang Bangun Alat Pemisah Sampah Pada Perusahaan Industri
Population growth in Sidoarjo Regency accompanied by increasing industrial waste has a negative impact on environmental sustainability and provides challenges related to innovation regarding this problem. Waste separator equipment in industrial companies is one of the relevant innovations to make it easier to process the waste produced. This research aims to create a waste separation device based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology that can help people sort waste automatically. This system uses a combination of STM32F407 and ESP8266 microcontrollers with three main sensors: inductive proximity, capacitive proximity, and infrared. This tool is designed to help identify types of metal, non-metal, organic and inorganic waste by automatically moving the waste to the appropriate container with the help of a servo motor. Notifications in the form of trash bin capacity status are also sent via the Telegram application on smartphones

The Effect of Celebrity Endorsement and Electronic Word Of Mouth (E-WOM) on Consumer Purchase Intention Through Brand Image on Azarine Sunscreen Products : Pengaruh Celebrity Endorsement dan Electronic Word Of Mouth (E-WOM) Terhadap Niat Beli Melalui Brand Image pada Produk Sunscreen Azarine
This study analyzes the influence of celebrity endorsement and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on consumer purchase intention through brand image for Azarine sunscreen products. Using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling of 100 respondents and SmartPLS 3.0 for data analysis, the study found that celebrity endorsement has no significant effect on purchase intention or brand image, either directly or indirectly. In contrast, E-WOM significantly influences brand image, which in turn positively affects purchase intention and mediates the relationship between E-WOM and purchase intention. These findings suggest that trust in E-WOM and brand image plays a more crucial role than celebrity endorsement. Therefore, companies should focus on strengthening brand image and encouraging positive E-WOM, such as selecting relevant influencers and leveraging credible, visually appealing content on video-based platforms like TikTok to effectively promote skincare products
