This study examines the implementation of character education based on the Pancasila Student Profile through the habituation of religious activities in schools, focusing on the dimension of faith and devotion to God Almighty. Using a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, non-participant observation, and documentation such as activity schedules, evaluation reports, and photos. The subjects were seven individuals, including the principal and Phase A teachers. Data analysis applied the Miles and Huberman interactive model, with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. Findings reveal five main habituation activities: Qur’an reading, congregational Dhuha prayer, congregational Zuhur prayer, praying, and almsgiving. These religious-based habituations effectively strengthen the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile’s character education in the dimension of faith and devotion

    No full text
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of adding a catalyst and DB killer to the muffler of a Vario 125 motorcycle on exhaust emissions and noise levels. The method used was an experimental approach, comparing emission test results and sound intensity measurements before and after modification. The findings indicate that the addition of a catalyst significantly reduces CO and HC emissions, while the DB killer effectively lowers noise levels without compromising engine performance. The combination of these two components positively contributes to reducing air pollution and noise, making it a viable solution for meeting stricter environmental standard

Improving Critical Thinking Skills through the Application of Problem-Based Learning Models in Elementary Schools: Meningkatkan Karakter Bernalar Kritis dengan Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning di Sekolah Dasar

    No full text
This study aims to determine the improvement in students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in mathematics lessons. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study involved 23 fourth-grade students at SDN Kendalpecabean Sidoarjo using a saturated sampling technique. The test instruments include four critical thinking indicators: obtaining and processing information, analyzing information, reflecting on thoughts, and making decisions. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous in the homogeneity test. The paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, with α = 0.05 yielding a significance value of < 0.001, meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The N-Gain value is in the moderate category, indicating that PBL has a positive effect on improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students in mathematics

    No full text
Pre-eclampsia is a high-risk pregnancy complication that demands healthcare providers’ readiness. However, research on their perceptions, knowledge, attitudes, and practices remains limited. This study aimed to explore the perception and management of pre-eclampsia through a literature review. A scoping review design was applied following Arksey and O’Malley’s framework, with data sourced from PubMed, Springer, ScienceDirect, and EBSCOhost (2019–2024). Eligible studies included both quantitative and qualitative research in English and Indonesian, selected using the PRISMA flow and analyzed descriptively. Out of 314 articles, only six met the inclusion criteria. Findings indicated that healthcare providers’ perceptions of pre-eclampsia in Africa varied, influenced by knowledge, experience, and training, which in turn affected management quality. Overall, perceptions remain relatively low, although management practices show a positive trend. These findings highlight the need for targeted training and resource support to improve pre-eclampsia care

This study uses strategy indicators from Koteen's theory, namely Organizational Strategy, Resource Strategy, and Program Strategy. The results of the study show that although TPST 3R has the highest turnover contribution (74.85% of total BUMDes income), various obstacles are still faced, such as weak coordination, lack of human resources, minimal budget, and suboptimal internal and external communication. The potential for developing a maggot cultivation program as an alternative to increasing income is very large, but is hampered by inadequate infrastructure. Therefore, the strategy to increase BUMDes Makmur Jaya's income needs to be focused on improving management, strengthening human resources, developing cooperation, and optimizing superior programs based on local potential
