    Improving English Vocabulary for Young Learners through Wordwall Media: Meningkatkan Kosakata Bahasa Inggris untuk Siswa Muda melalui media Wordwall

    This study aimed to improve English vocabulary among 20 fourth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah 3 Penatarsewu, Sidoarjo Regency, selected based on similar English proficiency. Using a pre-experimental design with pre- and post-tests featuring 20 multiple-choice questions, the study measured vocabulary skills before and after applying Wordwall as an interactive learning media. The instrument was validated by two experts, and its reliability was tested. Conducted over one month with two weekly sessions, Wordwall provided fun and engaging vocabulary activities. Results showed a significant increase in scores, averaging a 25-point improvement, demonstrating Wordwall’s effectiveness in enhancing vocabulary mastery. Additionally, the use of Wordwall boosted student motivation and engagement. These findings support the value of interactive digital tools in early English learning. However, limitations include the small sample size and short duration. Therefore, further research with more participants and longer implementation is recommended to confirm these promising results and assess long-term impact

    Climate change education and scientific competencies are important components of 21st-century learning, particularly in addressing sustainable development challenges. This study aims to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning on elementary students’ scientific competence in the topic of alternative energy, and how it supports the UN SDG 13 climate change mitigation program. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Ketajen I. The research involved a pretest on the same day for both the control class and the experimental class. The following day, the experimental class received three sessions of guided inquiry learning. Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test. The results showed a significant\ difference between the two groups (p = 0.011), with the experimental group showing greater improvement in explaining, evaluating, and interpreting scientific phenomena. These findings that guided inquiry learning have a positive effect on students’ scientific competence and awareness of climate change

The subjects in this research were CV employees. Putra Mubarak Jaya, namely the capital department, finance department, and warehouse employees. This investigate strategy employments subjective with a graphic approach.The results of this research indicate that the payroll accounting information system has been effective in achieving conformity between the salary amount stated in the payroll and the amount recorded in the payment recapitulation

    Technological transformation in digital public services is key to improving the efficiency, transparency, and quality of government services. To meet public demands for fast and accountable services, governments must adapt to advancements in information technology. Procurement of goods and services is a critical area that requires transparent and efficient governance. Conventional systems often face inefficiencies and risk of budget mismanagement. Platforms like LPSE, e-Catalogue, and SiRUP are essential, but in Sidoarjo Regency, procurement data evaluation remains suboptimal, limiting data-driven decisions. To overcome this, the Procurement Monitoring and Evaluation Information System (SIMANIS PBJ) was developed. It enables real-time and accurate monitoring of procurement processes. The system has been tested using the black box method in ten test cases and achieved a 100% success rate, proving its reliability in supporting good governance

    Batik is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages that has high artistic and economic value. Along with the times, batik is not only worn in formal events, but has also become part of a fashion trend that is favored by various groups. This has triggered the growth of the batik industry in various regions, including in Sidoarjo, East Java. One company that has a leading Brand Image, product quality, and Promotion in the Indonesian batik industry is the Batik Benang Raja company, known for its quality products at affordable prices. This study will collect samples using the questionnaire method. The researchers plan to conduct several surveys of consumers of batik benang raja Sidoarjo.     This study aims to determine the effect of using e-comic media on elementary school students’ skills in writing procedural texts. The background of this research is the students’ low ability in writing procedural texts and the limited variety of innovative media used by teachers. The study employed a quantitative method with a pre experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest model. The sample consisted of 30 fourth-grade students from SDN Gamping 1. Data were collected through written tests and classroom observation, with writing performance evaluated based on content relevance, grammar, structure, spelling, and sentence formation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired samples t-test with SPSS. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ writing skills

    Honey is a natural liquid produced by honey bees from nectar or other plant parts. Honey contains H2O2, acidic pH, osmolarity, polyphenols, flavonoids, and alkaloids that function as antibacterials for Apis dorsata honey against the growth of Escherichia coli. This study used a laboratory experimental method, with Apis dorsata honey concentrations of 20%; 60%; and 100%. Amoxicillin 25 µg as a positive control and aquadest as a negative control. The results obtained in this study were that Apis dorsata honey showed weak antibacterial properties at concentrations of 20% and 60%, while at a concentration of 100% it produced an average inhibition zone score in the moderate category. In the negative control there was no inhibition zone, while in the positive control, Amoxicillin produced a very strong inhibition zone. The conclusion of this study is that Apis dorsata wasps can inhibit the growth of E.coli with a weak to moderate reaction

    This article examines the development of Constitutional Court decisions regarding the presidential threshold and electoral threshold in Indonesia’s electoral system. Using a normative juridical approach and analyzing 24 Court decisions from 2004 to 2024, the study highlights the Court’s consistent stance in upholding thresholds as a form of open legal policy. Although declared constitutional, these thresholds remain controversial, as they are considered to limit political participation and fall short of the principles of participatory democracy

    The rise of online sexual crimes against children, especially through cyber grooming, is closely linked to the advancement of digital technology. This study examines the forms and legal procedures for presenting digital evidence in such cases. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and interpretative approaches, the research finds that digital evidence such as screenshots, metadata, clone disks, and cloud content has varying legal weight. Clone disks, when obtained through proper forensic methods, are the most conclusive. The study highlights the importance of ISO/IEC 27037 standards in the identification, acquisition, and preservation of digital evidence. It also underscores the need for URL permanency and documented chain of custody. However, challenges remain, including limited expertise, technical barriers, and cross-platform cooperation. Enhancing law enforcement capabilities and updating regulations is essential to ensure the admissibility and effectiveness of digital evidence in court proceedings

    Abstract. This study analyzes Facebook’s legal responsibility as an electronic system provider in cases of Human Trafficking Crimes (TPPO) that occur through its social media platform. Online trafficking cases are increasingly facilitated by the use of social media for recruitment. This research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory and case approach. The results show that Facebook explicitly prohibits human exploitation in its Terms of Service (ToS), but in practice, its content detection and prevention systems are still ineffective. Many trafficking cases pass through both automated systems and manual moderators. Therefore, Facebook can be considered legally, morally, and socially negligent for failing to take maximum preventive measures against human trafficking on its platform
