Sentiment Analysis of YouTube Comments on the East Java Grant Case Using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) Algorithm: Analisis Sentimen Komentar Youtube Terhadap Kasus Dana Hibah Jawa Timur Menggunakan Algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM)

    No full text
The phenomenon of corruption in Indonesia, particularly the alleged misuse of grant funds in East Java Province, has sparked various public responses expressed through comments on the YouTube platform. The dataset consists of 1,039 relevant comments collected from several YouTube videos related to the case. These comments underwent a series of text preprocessing stages, including case folding, tokenizing, text cleaning, stopwords removal, stemming, and transformation using Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). Subsequently, the data were manually labeled into three sentiment categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The dataset was then split into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio and used to train and evaluate the classification model. Model evaluation was performed using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results indicate that the SVM algorithm performs well in classifying public sentiment, making it a potential tool for automatically identifying public perceptions of emerging social and political issues

    No full text
This study aims to examine the influence of multicultural learning based on religious values on bullying behavior among elementary school students The research employed a quantitative method with a true experimental design using the pretest-posttest control group model. The subjects were third-grade students at SD Negeri Purwodadi 2, divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through tests, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the independent sample t-test analysis showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating  statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Multicultural learning integrated with religious valuessuch as tolerance, compassion, and mutual respectwas proven to significantly reduce bullying behavior. These findings suggest that religious-based multicultural education not only affects cognitive development but  also effective in shaping students' character to become more tolerant and ethical. Therefore, this strategy can serve as an alternative to fostering a safe, inclusive, and character-building school environment

Determinants of Vaginal Discharge in Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo : Determinan Keputihan pada Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo

    No full text
Vaginal discharge is fluid released from the vagina other than blood, which may be physiological or pathological, and is affected by personal hygiene and the use of vaginal care products. In Indonesia, prevalence reaches 90%, with 77% of cases in East Java caused by candidiasis. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design involving 26 second-semester midwifery students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula and selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected via a Google Form questionnaire and analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods with Fisher’s Exact test. Results indicated significant associations between personal hygiene (p=0.001) and product use (p=0.002) with the occurrence of vaginal discharge. Proper hygiene and correct product use play an important role in preventing pathological discharge. Education on genital hygiene should be promoted from adolescence to lower the risk of reproductive health problems

Analysis of Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection in the Close Friend Feature on Social Media: Analisis Kebijakan Privasi dan Perlindungan Data Pribadi dalam Fitur Close Friend di Sosial Media

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the extent to which the “Close Friend” feature on social media is able to provide protection for users' personal data from a legal perspective in Indonesia. Using normative legal research methods and a comparative approach, this study examines privacy policies on several popular platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, LINE, Facebook, and Snapchat. The results of the analysis show that the “Close Friend” feature reflects the application of the privacy by design principle that allows users to control access to personal content. However, even though technical protection is available, the risk of content misuse remains if user awareness is low. This feature is in line with the principles in the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), but it needs to be accompanied by digital education and shared responsibility between the platform and users to maintain privacy optimally

    No full text
This study examines the influence of school principals’ managerial competence and work climate on teacherperformance at SDI Cahaya Islami. The research employed a quantitative design with a quasiexperimental approach. The population consisted of all teachers at SDI Cahaya Islami, totaling 36 individuals. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS. The results show that the principal’s managerial competence has a greater impact on teacher performance, with an average score of 65.42, compared to the work climate, which has an average score of 57.89. A significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05) indicates a significant difference between the effects of the two variables. Simultaneously, both variables have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, as evidenced by the F-test results (F = 24.915; sig. = 0.001). These findings highlight the importance of strong leadership and a supportive work climate in improving teacher performance at the elementary school level

    No full text
This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based PDAM water meter monitoring system using the YF S201 sensor and ESP32 microcontroller. The system is designed to display the volume and cost of water usage in real-time via a 16x2 I2C LCD and the Blynk application, and automatically save data in Google Spreadsheet. Water discharge accuracy testing showed an average difference of 0.844 liters/minute with an error percentage of 1.023%. Meanwhile, water price testing produced an average difference of Rp57.25 with an error percentage of 1.285%. Overall system testing for 30 days showed a total water usage of 30,408.55 liters at a cost of Rp150,729.06. These results indicate that this system is effective in increasing the accuracy of recording, transparency of water consumption, and efficiency in monitoring PDAM customer water usage. This system can be an innovative solution for modernizing clean water distribution services based on digital technology

The Effect of the Number of Second-Stage Steam Turbine Blades on Performance and Efficiency: Pengaruh Jumlah Sudu Turbin Uap Bertingkat Kedua terhadap Performa dan Efisiensi

    No full text
A performance analysis of a small-scale steam turbine was conducted by varying blade count, steam pressure, and rotational speed to find the optimal configuration. Results showed that increasing the blade number from 5 to 9 consistently improved power, efficiency, and torque. The 9-blade setup delivered the best performance, with a peak power of 1.46 watts, maximum efficiency of 53%, and torque of 0.024 Nm. Steam pressure of 60 psi produced the highest values across all metrics. Each blade count had an optimal rotational speed: 430 rpm for 5 blades, 540 rpm for 7 blades, and 580–590 rpm for 9 blades. Exceeding these speeds significantly reduced efficiency, in some cases down to 0%. Therefore, the optimal performance is achieved using 9 blades, 60 psi steam pressure, and a speed of 580–590 rpm, providing the best combination of power output, torque, and efficiency for small-scale steam turbines
