Development of Cavendish Banana Maturity Detection and Sorting System Using Open Source Computer Vision and Loadcell Sensor: Pengembangan Sistem Pendeteksi Kematangan dan Penyortiran Pisang Cavendish Menggunakan Open Source Computer Vision dan Sensor Loadcell

    No full text
This research aims to develop a system for detecting the maturity and sorting of Cavendish bananas using OpenCV and a load cell sensor. Current manual sorting is inefficient and inaccurate due to human sensitivity to lighting changes and fatigue. The system uses a webcam for image processing and a load cell for weight measurement, controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The HSV algorithm determines banana ripeness based on skin color. Test results show an average weight error of 0.08% for ripe bananas and 0.71% for unripe ones, while color detection achieves 47.34% accuracy in bright lighting. The system improves sorting efficiency with adequate accuracy, but further development is needed to enhance accuracy levels

Designing Virtual Reality (VR) Task Scenarios Using the Rule-Based System (RBS) Method in the Sketching and Illustration Subject for Grade X-DKV at Vocational High School: Desain Task Skenario Virtual Reality (VR) dengan Metode Rule Based System (RBS) pada Mata Pelajaran Sketsa dan Ilustrasi Kelas X-DKV di SMK

    No full text
The limitations of learning media have become an urgency in the Sketching and Illustration subject for designing VR scenario designs for literacy tourism. This study aims to measure the feasibility of validation by media experts and subject matter experts. The method used in this research is the Rule-Based System (RBS) with an explore mode. The validation results from media experts obtained a score of 95%, categorized as highly feasible, while the validation results from subject matter experts obtained a score of 84%, also categorized as highly feasible. These results indicate that the designed task scenario meets feasibility standards in terms of both media and content, making it an effective interactive learning solution

The population and sample of this study were 70 female students of the Islamic Boarding School X based on the total sample. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed: There is a relationship between religiosity and psychological well being with a value of p <0.001. There is a relationship between social support and psychological well being with a value of p <0.001. The results of the F test count (23.058) with a significance of p <0.05, it can be concluded that the variables of religiosity and social support simultaneously have a significant influence on psychological well being

Usability Testing on Virtual Reality Implementation of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan Students: Usability Testing Pada Implementasi Virtual Reality Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan

    No full text
Education plays a vital role in enhancing human resources, particularly in vocational high schools (SMK), which focus on skill development for the workforce. Virtual Reality (VR) offers an immersive learning environment where students can experience subjects firsthand. However, some studies suggest that technology enthusiasts may see VR as a gaming tool rather than an educational medium. To assess its effectiveness, usability testing is necessary. This study, using a quantitative descriptive approach, evaluates VR learning media based on Jacob Nielsen’s usability factors: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. Conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan with tenth-grade TKJ 2 students, the research found that VR improved learning engagement and comprehension. Students appreciated its interactive simulations, but some noted discomfort with devices and interface limitations. The study highlights VR’s potential as an innovative learning tool while emphasizing the need for improvements in usability and content adaptation

Generation Z Self Disclosure Through Social Media X (Twitter): Self Disclosure Generasi Z Melalui Media Sosial X (Twitter)

    No full text
Generation Z, influenced by digitalization, uses social media to share personal information (self-disclosure) on Twitter. This study examines Generation Z's tweet uploads based on Derlega & Grezlak's self-disclosure theory, categorizing informants into Johari Window's four areas. Results show that informants' tweet uploads can be categorized into 5 self-disclosure functions, with expression being the most prominent. Of the seven informants, one is in the open area, five are in the hidden area, and one is in the blind area. The theory of uses and gratifications is closely related to how media can fulfill the needs of the audience; the intensity of the informant's tweet uploads per day is considered quite high, so this shows that X (Twitter) has succeeded in fulfilling the needs of its users as a medium that can be used for self-disclosure

his study analyzes the impact of capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing loans (NPL), and funding to deposit ratio (FDR) on the profitability of Bank BTPN Syariah from 2014 to 2024. It examines how these factors interact amid rising inflation, the Covid-19 pandemic, and inclusive financing. Using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression, the study relies on secondary data from the bank’s quarterly financial reports. ROA is the dependent variable, while CAR, NPF, and FDR are independent variables. Analysis is conducted using SPSS and Excel. Results show CAR positively affects ROA, NPF negatively affects ROA, while FDR has no significant effect. However, CAR, NPF, and FDR together significantly influence profitability. This study reinforces empirical evidence on these factors' effects on Islamic bank profitability in Indonesia and highlights the crucial role of capital management and funding risk in maintaining stability amid economic challenges

Effect of Sudden Enlargement Shape Variation on Laminar Fluid Flow : Pengaruh Variasi Bentuk Sudden Enlargement pada Aliran Fluida Laminar

    No full text
Sudden enlargement is commonly used in the context of fluid engineering which refers to sudden changes in the size of the pipe, which can lead to pressure drops or head losses. This study aims to determine the effect of sudden enlargement shape variations (square edge, projecting edge, and rounded edge) on head loss in laminar fluid flow. The experiment was carried out on acrylic pipes with two levels of flow rate, namely 6 liters/minute and 4 liters/minute. Data was obtained from pressure measurements using U manometers at two test points. The results show that the square edge has the best efficiency at high flow rates (6 L/min) with the lowest energy loss. At low flow rates (4 L/min), rounded edges show better performance in maintaining flow stability. Meanwhile, the projecting edge had the highest rate of energy loss in both conditions.&nbsp
