The study aims to comprehensively analyse the underlying factors contributing to this phenomenon, exploring the socioeconomic dynamics that shape the employment landscape for young individuals in suburban regions. Through an academic lens, this study examines the multifaceted educations and challenges affecting suburban youth involvement in employment, including personal factors, family influence, and environmental influence. The study employed a qualitative approach, which involved ten informants of youth in Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. Drawing upon existing literature and statistical data, the study proposes potential strategies and interventions to mitigate suburban youth unemployment, fostering sustainable economic growth and inclusive development.A educação para o emprego dos jovens é um desafio global. Este estudo investiga a intrincada educação sobre o desemprego juvenil nas áreas suburbanas de Terengganu. O estudo visa analisar de forma abrangente os factores subjacentes que contribuem para este fenómeno, explorando as dinâmicas socioeconómicas que moldam o cenário de emprego dos jovens nas regiões suburbanas. Através de uma lente acadêmica, este estudo examina as educações multifacetadas e os desafios que afetam o envolvimento dos jovens suburbanos no emprego, incluindo fatores pessoais, influência familiar e influência ambiental. O estudo empregou uma abordagem qualitativa, que envolveu dez informantes de jovens em Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu, Malásia. UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA DA PESQUISA TPACK SOBRE ENSINO DA LÍNGUA INGLESA
Get PDFDevelopments in the field of educational technology have accelerated research on Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK). As the number of the TPACK studies has been burgeoning, the need for a categorization study of the past research has emerged. Therefore, the objective of this systematic review study is to present a categorization table of TPACK studies in three main themes, namely, understanding TPACK, measuring TPACK and developing TPACK. In the study, the distribution of the articles in terms of the publishing year, country, methodology and the participants were aimed to investigate. For this purpose, 39 journal articles which were browsed in the Web of Science index and published between the years of 2013 and 2024 were examined. The results revealed that the number of the TPACK studies decreased from the year of 2021 on, the United States of America was the leading country with the most TPACK studies, quantitative design was the most preferred research design, and the majority of the studies were conducted with pre-service teachers for developing their TPACK level.Os desenvolvimentos no campo da tecnologia educacional aceleraram a pesquisa em Conhecimento Tecnológico, Pedagógico e de Conteúdo (TPACK). À medida que o número de estudos TPACK tem aumentado, surgiu a necessidade de um estudo de categorização das pesquisas anteriores. Portanto, o objetivo deste estudo de revisão sistemática é apresentar uma tabela de categorização dos estudos TPACK em três temas principais, a saber, compreensão do TPACK, medição do TPACK e desenvolvimento do TPACK. No estudo, objetivou-se investigar a distribuição dos artigos quanto ao ano de publicação, país, metodologia e participantes. Para tanto, foram examinados 39 artigos de periódicos navegados no índice Web of Science e publicados entre os anos de 2013 e 2024. Os resultados revelaram que o número de estudos TPACK diminuiu a partir do ano de 2021, os Estados Unidos da América foram o país líder com o maior número de estudos TPACK, o desenho quantitativo foi o desenho de investigação preferido e a maioria dos estudos foram realizados com professores em formação para desenvolver seu nível TPACK

Get PDFThe aim of the study is to analyze the Ukrainian experience of the introduction of innovative, information digital technologies in the educational process of elementary school in the conditions of Russia\u27s large-scale military invasion. The study was conducted based on an experiment in which it was possible to prove the effectiveness of the use of innovative, information, digital technologies in the use in the elementary school. The results substantiated the benefits of using these technologies under martial law. It was proved that the productivity of learning in the experimental group increased by 15%, that is, thanks to the measurements of assessments it was possible to confirm the effectiveness of the appeal to innovative teaching methods. The conclusions note that the formation of these skills as the Russian invasion continues will be a relevant problem for future research.O objetivo do estudo é analisar a experiência ucraniana da introdução de tecnologias inovadoras, de informação e digitais no processo educativo do ensino básico nas condições da invasão militar em grande escala da Rússia. O estudo foi realizado com base numa experiência em que foi possível comprovar a eficácia da utilização de tecnologias inovadoras, informáticas e digitais no ensino básico. Os resultados comprovaram os benefícios da utilização destas tecnologias no âmbito da lei marcial. Foi provado que a produtividade da aprendizagem no grupo experimental aumentou em 15%, ou seja, graças às medições das avaliações foi possível confirmar a eficácia do recurso a métodos de ensino inovadores. As conclusões indicam que a formação destas competências, à medida que a invasão russa continua, será um problema relevante para a investigação futura
A RELAÇÃO ENTRE A PACIÊNCIA DOS PROFESSORES E OS NÍVEIS DE COMPROMETIMENTO ORGANIZACIONAL
Get PDFIn this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between teachers\u27 patience and organizational commitment levels. The population of the study consisted of 214 physical education and sports teachers working in public schools in the center of Isparta province. The sample group consisted of 161 teachers randomly selected from this population. The participants were asked to fill in the personal information form and teacher patience and organizational commitment scales. Statistical analyzes were conducted through IBM SPSS 22.0 (Statistics for Windows) program. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to reveal the relationship between the continuous variables of the research. As a result, it was determined that teachers\u27 patience and organizational commitment levels were at a level that would be considered high, and there was a moderate positive relationship between their patience levels and organizational commitment. It is thought that this is due to the quality of the education received by physical education and sports teachers during their academic years, their love for their professions, and the fact that they are loved individuals in in-school and out-of-school environments.Neste estudo, o objetivo foi examinar a relação entre a paciência dos professores e os níveis de comprometimento organizacional. A população do estudo consistiu em 214 professores de educação física e esportes que trabalham em escolas públicas no centro da província de Isparta. O grupo amostral consistiu em 161 professores selecionados aleatoriamente dessa população. Os participantes foram solicitados a preencher o formulário de informações pessoais e as escalas de paciência do professor e comprometimento organizacional. As análises estatísticas foram conduzidas por meio do programa IBM SPSS 22.0 (Statistics for Windows). A análise de correlação de Pearson foi aplicada para revelar a relação entre as variáveis contínuas da pesquisa. Como resultado, foi determinado que a paciência dos professores e os níveis de comprometimento organizacional estavam em um nível que seria considerado alto, e havia uma relação positiva moderada entre seus níveis de paciência e comprometimento organizacional. Acredita-se que isso se deve à qualidade da educação recebida pelos professores de educação física e esportes durante seus anos acadêmicos, seu amor por suas profissões e o fato de serem indivíduos amados em ambientes escolares e extraescolares

Get PDFThis paper explores the intersection of culturally relevant pedagogy and social-emotional learning (SEL) to foster engagement, belonging and improved outcomes among marginalised elementary school students. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study examines how integrating culturally tailored teaching practices with SEL frameworks positively impacts emotional and social development. Data collected through classroom observations, teacher interviews, and student surveys highlight the significant role of culturally relevant SEL in addressing systemic inequities and promoting inclusive learning environments. The findings suggest that culturally aligned SEL programmes improve academic engagement and strengthen students\u27 sense of identity and community. The recommendations focus on expanding culturally responsive teaching practices and incorporating them into SEL professional development programmers.Este artigo explora a intersecção da pedagogia culturalmente relevante e da aprendizagem socioemocional (SEL) para promover o engajamento, o pertencimento e melhores resultados entre alunos marginalizados do ensino fundamental. Usando uma abordagem de estudo de caso qualitativo, este estudo examina como a integração de práticas de ensino culturalmente adaptadas com estruturas SEL impacta positivamente o desenvolvimento emocional e social. Dados coletados por meio de observações em sala de aula, entrevistas com professores e pesquisas com alunos destacam o papel significativo da SEL culturalmente relevante no tratamento de desigualdades sistêmicas e na promoção de ambientes de aprendizagem inclusivos. As descobertas sugerem que programas SEL culturalmente alinhados melhoram o engajamento acadêmico e fortalecem o senso de identidade e comunidade dos alunos. As recomendações se concentram em expandir práticas de ensino culturalmente responsivas e incorporá-las aos programadores de desenvolvimento profissional SEL

Get PDFThe main aim of this research is to determine the opinions of secondary school students in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus after the STEM Education Course. A qualitative research model was applied in the study. The study group of the current research consisted of a total of 20 secondary school students aged 12 years.A semi-structured interview form was used as the data collection tool. The obtained data were categorized into themes and interpreted. The NVIVO-12 program was used to analyze the data and model the resulting situation. The findings obtained as a result of the research were discussed with the relevant literature. According to the data, as a result of the research were discussed with the relevant literature. As a result of the analyzes, it was concluded that after the STEM education course, the students developed their skills, that they should be given in their schools and that it benefited them. In line with the results obtained, suggestions were made on STEM applications.O principal objetivo desta pesquisa é determinar as opiniões dos alunos do ensino secundário na República Turca do Norte de Chipre após o Curso de Educação STEM. Um modelo de pesquisa qualitativa foi aplicado no estudo. O grupo de estudo da presente pesquisa foi composto por um total de 20 alunos do ensino médio com idade entre 12 anos. Foi utilizado um formulário de entrevista semiestruturada como instrumento de coleta de dados. Os dados obtidos foram categorizados em temas e interpretados. O programa NVIVO-12 foi utilizado para analisar os dados e modelar a situação resultante. Os achados obtidos como resultado da pesquisa foram discutidos com a literatura pertinente. Although active methodologies are effective, challenges remain, such as the need for continuous professional development for teachers and the updating of pedagogical practices. The article emphasizes the importance of adapting pedagogical resources to meet students\u27s needs, providing a more contextualized education that empowers them as active citizens.Este artigo aborda a aplicação de metodologias ativas no ensino de ciências ambientais, destacando seu potencial para tornar a aprendizagem mais envolvente e relevante. O estudo utiliza uma revisão integrativa para examinar pesquisas sobre educação ambiental e sustentabilidade, com foco em temas que envolvem as mudanças climáticas e sua integração ao aprendizado baseado em metodologias ativas. Get PDFThe education system based on the National Education Philosophy (FPK) is the backbone of national development that provides knowledge and skills to each generation to drive economic growth and prosper the country. Therefore, Malaysia needs to implement major changes in the education system to improve the holistic development of students. However, this desire is faced with the decline of discipline among school students which is a major challenge in the world of education in Malaysia. Hence, this study was carried out to examine the strategy or approach of the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) in shaping the development of students to reduce discipline problems in schools. KPM as a ministry managing the education system in Malaysia has implemented several strategies such as the Specialized Circular Letter (SPI), Student Excellence Personality Program (SUMUR), Student Database Application (APDM) and so on to shape student development and curb student discipline problems. Nevertheless, the issue of disciplinary misconduct involving students continues to occur mandating this study to be carried out to identify the effectiveness of the strategy by KPM based on the findings of previous studies. In addition, this study also provides a new approach through the Student Development Model which is formulated based on the combination of two ideas, namely the idea of IMS and the idea of Flexible Education with Soul (FlexS) which is aligned with FPK.O sistema educacional baseado na Filosofia Nacional de Educação (FPK) é a espinha dorsal do desenvolvimento nacional que fornece conhecimento e habilidades a cada geração para impulsionar o crescimento econômico e prosperar o país. Portanto, a Malásia precisa implementar grandes mudanças no sistema educacional para melhorar o desenvolvimento holístico dos alunos. No entanto, esse desejo é confrontado com o declínio da disciplina entre os alunos, o que é um grande desafio no mundo da educação na Malásia. Portanto, este estudo foi realizado para examinar a estratégia ou abordagem do Ministério da Educação da Malásia (KPM) em moldar o desenvolvimento dos alunos para reduzir os problemas de disciplina nas escolas. O KPM como um ministério que gerencia o sistema educacional na Malásia implementou várias estratégias, como a Carta Circular Especializada (SPI), o Programa de Personalidade de Excelência Estudantil (SUMUR), o Aplicativo de Banco de Dados Estudantil (APDM) e assim por diante para moldar o desenvolvimento dos alunos e conter os problemas de disciplina dos alunos. No entanto, a questão da má conduta disciplinar envolvendo alunos continua a ocorrer, exigindo que este estudo seja realizado para identificar a eficácia da estratégia do KPM com base nas descobertas de estudos anteriores. A INFLUÊNCIA DA CULTURA DA FALA NA FORMAÇÃO DAS COMPETÊNCIAS LINGUÍSTICAS DOS FUTUROS ESPECIALISTAS
Get PDFDue to the digitization of higher education, there is a necessity for the modernization of language specialty training in order to produce highly skilled professionals capable of adapting to the digital world and achieving optimal learning outcomes for future generations. The article aims to effectively employ the model by utilizing readiness components and pedagogical conditions for the formation of future specialists’ language competencies from the perspective of speech culture’s impact. The following methods were used in the study: analysis, synthesis, comparison, modeling, classification; practical research methods (namely ascertaining, formative and control experiment; observation; surveys). The study revealed a significant increase in the number of respondents who demonstrated understanding of the conceptual-targeted component during the formative stage of the experiment within the experimental group, compared to the control group. After the introduction of the experimental methodology, the content-technological component took a medium and high value.Devido à digitalização do ensino superior, é necessária a modernização da formação especializada em línguas, a fim de produzir profissionais altamente qualificados, capazes de se adaptarem ao mundo digital e alcançarem resultados de aprendizagem óptimos para as gerações futuras. O artigo visa empregar efetivamente o modelo, utilizando componentes de prontidão e condições pedagógicas para a formação de competências linguísticas de futuros especialistas na perspectiva do impacto da cultura da fala. Os seguintes métodos foram utilizados no estudo: análise, síntese, comparação, modelagem, classificação; métodos práticos de investigação (nomeadamente experiência de apuração, formação e controlo; observação; inquéritos). O estudo revelou um aumento significativo no número de entrevistados que demonstraram compreensão do componente conceitual-alvo durante a fase formativa do experimento dentro do grupo experimental, em comparação com o grupo de controle.
