No full textSupplementary files of research article "A rewired NADPH-dependent redox shuttle for testing peroxisomal compartmentalization of synthetic metabolic pathways in Komagataella phaffii". This study describes the establishment of the synthetic malonyl-CoA pathway in the peroxisome of Komagataella phaffii for 3-HP production using renewable carbon sources. Several strains were constructed and tested on 24-deep-well plate cultivations containing Buffered Minimal medium supplemented with the appropriate carbon source: glucose (BMD), glycerol (BMG), methanol (BMM), and oleic acid (BMO). Three independent transformants for each strain were cultivated.
A series of strains representing the cytosolic counterparts of three peroxisomal strains were also cultivated in BMD, BMG, BMM, and BMO. An individual clone for each cytosolic strain was cultivated in triplicate in 24-deep-well plates. Full consumption of the substrates and 3-HP concentrations were checked at the end of the cultures.

Replication Data for: OnionVQE optimization strategy for ground state preparation on NISQ devices
No full textThe variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) is one of the most promising and widely used algorithms for exploiting the capabilities of current Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices. However, VQE algorithms suffer from a plethora of issues, such as barren plateaus, local minima, quantum hardware noise, and limited qubit connectivity, thus posing challenges for their successful deployment on hardware and simulators. In this work, we propose a VQE optimization strategy that builds upon recent advances in the literature, and exhibits very shallow circuit depths when applied to the specific system of interest, namely a model Hamiltonian representing a cuprate superconductor. These features make our approach a favorable candidate for generating good ground state approximations on current NISQ devices. Our findings illustrate the potential of VQE algorithmic development for leveraging the full capabilities of NISQ devices
Design and validation of a low-cost triaxial 5G RF-EMF exposure sensor
No full textA low-cost monitoring network, to measure radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure induced by 5G, is required for risk communication and to support research into long-term health and ecological effects related to 5G technologies. A low-cost triaxial fifth generation (5G) RF-EMF exposure sensor was designed, calibrated, and validated in the field, using a commercial network. The sensor uses a triaxial antenna-based measure_x0002_ment design and is able to measure the exposure induced by 5G communication in the n78 (3300–3800 MHz) and the n77 (3300–4200 MHz) frequency band up to 3900 MHz. The sensitivity of the simultaneous analog-to-digital converter (ADC)-based triaxial sensor is 0.06 V/m, while having a com_x0002_bined uncertainty uc of 3.12 dB. The sensor was tested indoor and in two outdoor environments (private and commercial 5G networks). The maximum measured electric-field level induced by 5G (n77 band) was 0.89 V/m [500 m from a commercial base station (BS)] and 2.87 V/m (60 m from a private BS), which are 1.5% and 4.8% of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) guidelines, respectively. A second measurement campaign was used to compare the values of the electric field captured by the novel triaxial 5G sensor and commercial measurement equipment (SRM-3006). The average values of the electric field registered by the triaxial 5G sensor differ on average 2.8 dB from the values of the SRM-3006, which is within the measurement uncertainty of the SRM-3006

C14 Dating and Archaeological Structures of Cultural Landscapes in the Eastern Pyrenees
No full text[ENG] This dataset contains a catalog of the 243 inventoried structures, located mostly in supra-forest spaces between the 2,000 m elevation and the headwaters of the valley, towards the 2,600 m elevation. It also includes a table with the results of the C14 datings (calibrated with the IntCal20 curve and with the 2-sigma representation) obtained during the archaeological excavations in the areas of Andorra, Cerdanya, Coma de Vaca, Serra del Cadí, and Vall de Núria. The data is in CSV format.[CAT] Aquest dataset conté un catàleg de les 243 estructures inventariades, localitzades majoritàriament a espais supraforestals entre la cota 2.000 m i les capçaleres de la vall, vers la cota 2.600 m. També inclou una taula amb els resultats de les datacions de C14 (calibrades amb la corba IntCal20 i amb la representació 2-sigma) obtingudes durant les excavacions arqueològiques a les àrees d’Andorra, Cerdanya, Coma de Vaca, Serra del Cadí i Vall de Núria. Les dades es troben en format CSV
