Magnetotelluric time series in Iberia from the project IBERGIC_CAST
No full textThis data set consists of time series of magnetotelluric data (electric and magnetic fields) at 16 sites recorded in the framework of the coordinated project IBERGIC-CAS. These data were collected in three fieldwork campaigns performed between June and November of 2023. The recorded time for each site ranged between 12 and 20 days. The raw data are as they come out of the instrument, without any additional processing, and only checked for coherence and editing to identify any missing data. They are presented as plain ASCII files containing the five components of the electromagnetic field at the surface measured by the instruments. Additionally, 16 image files (PNG format) are available to quickly visualise the time series of each site
Glocalsa Question Set
No full textThis set of data includes three subsets of questions asked to a group of Erasmus students before, during, and after their study abroad period. These questions are of different types (closed and open) and were administered through an app developed within the framework of the Glocalsa Project. They are questions related to students’ attitudes, linguistic skills, and glocal competences throughout a study abroad experience. The questions administered during the stay followed the Experience Sampling Method (ESM) and, therefore, were repeated on consecutive days and in 3 periods during the stay. All the questions have an associated code that identifies them and are written in 3 languages: English, Spanish, and Catalan

No full textMacro script based on the macro template to process multiple images in a folder using FIJI (ImageJ) software to calculate the percentage of vegetation cover in zenithal pictures; the images are the (nearly) zenithal pictures of the plots used in the experiment at 20 different dates along the spring, summer, and autumn (not all plots present in all dates). Batch processing of the whole directory of the pictures would provide a set of csv files containing percentage (green) area on the central area of the pictures, representing plant cover for each plot at each date. These can be easily compiled using R, as all produced files share exactly the same structure (Slice -which identifies picture and thus date-, Count, Total Area, Average Size, %Area -this is the only relevant measure used afterwards in the analyses)

No full textA dataset containing the monitoring of several hardware counters (HPC) associated with 7 cache side-channel attacks (Spectre V1, V2, V4; Meltdown, ZombieLoad, Fallout, and Crosstalk), along with data obtained for 7 benign/benchmark programs (matrix multiplier, stress -c, stress -m, MiBench, STREAM, bzip2, and ffmpeg). All programs are run on Intel x86 architectures.
The selection of the hardware attacks used to collect the data was done by analyzing the characteristics of the computer, as well as the available mitigations, to determine if the machine was vulnerable to each of them.
The selection of benign programs was mainly based on benchmark sets that offered reliable and reproducible execution behavior, allowing for effective comparison with workloads. A selection of different benchmark sets with varied approaches was made to ensure optimal coverage of the dataset.
Finally, the selection of activity counters was based on a detailed analysis of the exploited vulnerability, prior work, and, later, data analysis to ensure their validity. From this study, the following hardware counters were selected: branch-misses, branch-instructions, LLC-load-misses, L1-dcache-load-misses, and instructions. </p

No full textThe dataset contains meteorological data, OpenFOAM files, and processed data from the paper titled: "Influence of terrain roughness on numerical simulations of sea breezes".
The dataset is structured into two main folders: "Observational data" and "Numerical simulations".
The folder "Observational data" includes all the observational data shown in the paper, i.e., wind speed and temperature collected at a meteorological station during the week from January 31 to February 6, 2024.
The folder "Numerical simulations" (separated in 3 parts) contains all the numerical cases presented in the paper. This folder is organized into several subfolders that follow the structure of the paper: "MeshValidation", "TimeStepValidation", "SeaLengthStudy", "HeightStudy", and "RoughnessEffectStudy".
Each case includes the necessary "0", "system" and "constant" folders required for running all the cases in OpenFOAM. Additionally, .txt files containing post-processed data computed at 2 km from the sea ("data_at2km_FromSea") are provided for each case
