Multi-Sensor Device for Police Firearm Monitoring Raw Dataset
The following dataset consists of pre-labeled multivariate time-series vectors collected from a firearm monitoring device. It includes data from a piezoelectric sensor, which captures vibrations generated by the firearm, and a photoelectric sensor, which measures the remaining number of rounds in the firearm's magazine. The labeled classes in the dataset represent typical firearm manipulations, including shots, reloads, and other related actions.
The data was collected between March and May 2025 at the shooting training camp in Lleida by police instructors and specialized officers. The structure and format of the dataset are designed to support the training of deep learning algorithms for classifying event labels or extracting other metadata from the combined sensor data

RF-EMF exposure assessment with add-on uplink exposure sensor in different microenvironments in seven European countries
Several devices have been developed to assess exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF). Since the existing solutions to measure the personal exposure induced by emerging 5G New Radio (NR) are expensive, complex, and bulky, a new cost efficient and low-complexity sensor is developed, that aims to measure RF-EMF exposure in different scenarios of data transmission within different areas. With this novel sensor, activity-based microenvironmental surveys were conducted across seven European countries: Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The device is attached to a smartphone to quantify the auto-induced uplink (a-UL) transmission component of the total exposure for a broadband frequency range from 100 MHz to 6000 MHz and is thus denoted as add-on sensor. In-situ measurements were performed for three usage scenarios, namely non-user (i.e., environmental exposure), maximum downlink (max DL), and maximum uplink (max UL) scenarios, in a large city, a secondary city, and three rural villages a priori selected within each country. Power levels were lowest in non-user scenarios (median: −2.64 dBm or 0.54 mW), increasing by a factor of 5.00 dB in maximum downlink scenarios and by a factor of 14.15 dB in maximum uplink scenarios. In the maximum uplink scenarios, the highest median a-UL power of 18.68 dBm (= 73.79 mW) was recorded in The Netherlands, while the lowest median a-UL power of 4.77 dBm (= 3 mW) was observed in the UK. The analysis of the measured data showed a prominent trend of a 2.72 dB lower power in the cities compared to the villages. Further comparisons were made based on microenvironment groups, where the lowest a-UL power levels (median: 12.35 dBm) were measured in outdoor areas, with an increase of 1.78 dB and 1.91 dB in power was measured compared to public transport and public places, respectively. This study compares RF-EMF power levels between different countries, urbanization settings, and usage scenarios, which is important for future epidemiological studies
Needles of the Arelate type in the context of Hispania
[ENG] Inventory with 143 'arelate' type bronze needles discovered in archaeological sites, funerary necropolises, and port areas, among others. They come from countries such as Spain, France, Italy, or Portugal. The needles provide a rich variety of contexts, which can be analyzed to deduce the function of these objects. These contexts can be considered from a topographical and functional point of view, some of them also provide chronologies. The dataset includes a CSV file and images.[SPA] Inventario con 143 agujas de bronce de tipo “arelate” descubiertas en yacimientos arqueológicos, necrópolis funerarias y zonas portuarias, entres otras. Replication data for: Exploring the prebiotic potential of dietary fibre concentrates from artichoke, red pepper, cucumber, and carrot byproducts.
Using an in vitro colonic digestion model, we explored the prebiotic potential of dietary fibre concentrates (DFCs) derived from artichoke, red pepper, cucumber, and carrot byproducts. In vitro colonic digestions were carried out for up to 48 hours to simulate colonic digestion. Gut microbiota were assessed at 24 and 48 hours using quantitative PCR targeting key microbial taxa, including Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Clostridium, Bifidobacterium, Enterococcus, Lactobacillus, Bacteroidaceae, and Enterobacteriaceae. DNA was extracted using the QIAamp Fast DNA Stool Mini Kit and quantified using a NanoDrop spectrophotometer. Microbial abundance was normalized to total Eubacteria and calculated using the 2^ÐDelta-Delta Ct method.
In parallel, Short-Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs) productions (acetic, propionic, and butyric acids) were assed at 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, and 48 hours using gas chromatography coupled with flame ionization. Total SCFA concentrations and SCFA profiles were calculated to evaluate microbial metabolic activity in response to the different DFCs. Additionally, pH values were also recorded over time, using a pH meter
Replication Data for: Unraveling Charge Transport in Heterostructured Nanomotors for Efficient Photocatalytic Motion
This dataset contains time-resolved transient absorption spectroscopy measurements of rod-like α-Fe2O3-based nanomotors. The data were acquired to capture the ultrafast excited-state dynamics of suspended α-Fe2O3-based photocatalysts following photoexcitation at 500 nm to solely excite Fe2O3. The dataset includes differential absorption spectra recorded over femtosecond to 79.608 nanosecond timescales, providing insight into the lifetimes and spectral signatures of photoexcited states. Processed data files are provided in standardized formats suitable for further kinetic analysis and spectral deconvolution (2D dataset). Also the raw data is readable using Glotaran. The dataset supports studies of charge transfer processes in different Fe2O3 systems coupled with Pt, SiO2, TiO2 or Pt/TiO
