Replication data for: Effect of Plant Proteins on the in vitro Lipid Digestibility and β-Carotene Bioaccessibility of Oleogels

    No full text
This dataset presents the physicochemical and nutritional characterization of beta-carotene-loaded oleogels in the presence of plant proteins (soy, wheat and pea proteins) during in vitro gastrointestinal digestion. The data includes zeta-potential analysis (Phase-Analysis Light Scattering), lipid digestion kinetics assessed through pH-STAT titration of free fatty acids, and beta-carotene bioaccessibility values derived from micellar phase isolation and UV-VIS spectrophotometric quantification against a hexane-based calibration curve. These data provide a quantitative evaluation of the impact of protein addition on the lipid digestibility and nutrient release of oleogel systems

Forest inventories database for the evaluation of different adaptive forest management practices applied in Requesens, Montesquiu and Montnegre locations (Catalonia, Spain) under the MONIMED project.

    No full text
This dataset comprises forest inventory data and environmental characteristics (soil) from forest monitoring plots in Requesens, Montesquiu and Montnegre locations (Catalonia, Spain). The dataset contains the information measured by CREAF during the MONIMED project (G-04-2024) between 2024 and 2025. The data monitors the performance of different forest management practices, from conventional practices to Climate-Smart Forestry practices, comparing several ecological variables. This dataset compiles data on carbon stock in living trees (stems, branches, foliage, roots); carbon stock in soil, defoliation and decoloration, tree density, basal area, potential biodiversity index, fire vulnerability, total aerial biomass, total understorey biomass, tree status, tree position, tree DBH, tree volume, tree defoliation, and tree vitality

Replication Data for: G-protein activation of the dark-state visual G protein-coupled receptor rhodopsin by releasing critical structural constraints

    No full text
Raw data that are part of the publication: "G-protein activation of the dark-state visual G protein-coupled receptor rhodopsin by releasing critical structural constraints" by Eva Ramon, Kristina Kirchberg, Mireia Jiménez-Rosés, Jens Balke, Tai-Yang Kim, Arnau Cordomí, Ulrike Alexiev, Pere Garriga to be published in Communications Biology, 2026. This dataset compiles the results for i) triple mutant rhodopsin T94I/E134Q/M257Y spectral characterization, ii) the ability of triple mutant rhodopsin T94I/E134Q/M257Y to bind all-trans-retinal and further characterization, iii) the Molecular Dynamics analysis and Simulations to understand molecular basis of the mutation, iv) the accessibility of G protein peptide on the T94I/E134Q/M257Y triple mutant when compared to WT rhodopsin and v) Helix 8 mobility of the T94I/E134Q/M257Y triple mutant when compared to WT rhodopsin

Replication data for "Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ understandings of scientific framings of climate change"

    No full text
This dataset was created in order to document the analysis of the manuscript "Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ understandings of scientific framings of climate change". The term climate change can be framed in multiple ways. In dominant scientific and policy discourses, it is typically defined as a global-scale phenomenon driven by physical processes and largely detached from lived human experience. Drawing on 1,617 survey responses from 20 globally distributed sites inhabited by Indigenous Peoples and local communities whose livelihoods depend on their territories, we examine patterns in local understandings of the term climate change. Using a systematic cross-cultural analysis of respondents’ explanations—assessing references to drivers and impacts and identifying narrative frames across sites—we explore how interpretations vary by climate zone, biome, and primary livelihood activity. Our findings show, first, that many respondents do not provide explicit explanations of the term, a pattern that likely reflects linguistic, cultural, and epistemological differences rather than a lack of knowledge. Second, when explanations are offered, they emphasize locally experienced environmental impacts over abstract or global drivers, underscoring experiential and livelihood-centred perceptions. Third, these explanations are shaped by local climatic, ecological, and social contexts, demonstrating how climate zones, biomes, and livelihood activities structure understandings of climate change. Finally, narrative frames are predominantly environmental, frequently invoke human responsibility, and often intertwine moral and spiritual dimensions, reflecting holistic knowledge systems in which ecological, social, and ethical orders are deeply interconnected. By revealing systematic patterns in how Indigenous Peoples and local communities understand climate change across diverse contexts, this study highlights the importance of centring culturally grounded perspectives in research and policy to support more inclusive, locally relevant, and socially just climate action
