Improving work ethics and organizational citizenship behavior through positive cognitive and affective attitude toward work
The research delved into the impact of attitudes toward work on both work ethics and organizational citizenship behavior. To enrich the understanding of this relationship, existing literature was thoroughly examined. Employing a descriptive assessment coupled with a correlational research design, the study focused on employees within the Divine Word College of Laoag.
Data collection was facilitated through the administration of questionnaires, while inferential statistical tools such as mean and ANOVA were employed for data analysis. The findings indicated a notably high level of both cognitive and affective attitudes toward work among employees, paralleled by elevated levels of work ethics and organizational citizenship behavior.
Furthermore, correlational analysis unveiled significant relationships between attitudes toward work and organizational citizenship behavior, encompassing its OCBO dimension. Similarly, a correlation was identified between attitudes toward work and work ethics.
Despite its insightful findings, it's worth noting that the study's scope was confined to a specific population. Consequently, there arises a necessity for further research encompassing a broader demographic to ensure the generalizability of the findings
Examining the significant influence of employees’ participation in decision-making and organizational citizenship behavior on attitude toward work
The study investigated the influence of participation in decision-making and organizational citizenship behavior on the attitude toward work. Literature was reviewed to deepen the concept of the study. The study used descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The population of the study were the employees of the institution, and questionnaires were used to gather the data. Weighted mean and Pearson r correlation were applied to analyze the data. The finding indicates that participation in decision-making and organizational citizenship behavior are high. The Pearson r correlation suggests that involvement in decision-making affects the cognitive attitude toward work but not the effective attitude. The same is true with organizational citizenship behavior, the Pearson r correlation indicates no significant correlation

The study found that entrepreneurial work environments and innovative work behaviour are high. However, there was no correlation between the entrepreneurial work environment and the innovative work behaviour of the employees. Thus, the hypothesis is rejected. It is recommended that further study needs to be done concerning other factors that affect innovative work behaviour
Does academic stress predict nursing students' healthy and unhealthy behaviour?
The study aimed to examine the effect of academic stress on the healthy and unhealthy behaviour of nursing students. To gain more understanding of the concepts, literatures were reviewed. The study used descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The population of the study was 228 nursing students of the Divine Word College of Laoag. The questionnaires were used to gather the data and weighted mean and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were utilized to analyze the data. The study found that the academic stress of students was high and healthy behavior was also high. While unhealthy behaviour was low. In terms of the correlation between academic stress and healthy behaviour, the results signify that taken together the three dimensions (external pressure and expectations, course requirement overload and examination, and self-efficacy) are not associated with healthy behaviour. However, taken separately, academic stress related to self-efficacy significantly influenced healthy behaviour. Higher self-efficacy predicts higher healthy behaviour. Further, concerning the correlation between academic stress and unhealthy behaviour, the finding reveals that both are significantly correlated. It means higher academic stress leads to unhealthy behaviour.

The study aimed to examine the impact of parents' socio-economic conditions on their educational aspirations for their children and the effect of their educational ambitions on the academic performance of their children. Literature was reviewed to deepen the concept of the study. The study used a descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The population of the study were the grade XII students of the Divine Word College of Laoag. The data was gathered through validated questionnaires. To analyze the data, the weighted mean and Pearson r correlation were used. The study found that there is no correlation between socio-economic conditions and educational aspirations of parents and there is also no correlation between parents' educational aspirations and academic performance. The study also recognizes its limitations due to limited population variables. Thus, it is necessary to conduct further studies to include more populations and more variables

The sample included all employees of the institution, with data gathered through questionnaires. Findings revealed a moderate level of employee treatment, while organizational commitment and citizenship behavior were rated high. However, Pearson’s r indicated no significant correlation between employee treatment and either organizational commitment or citizenship behavior, leading to a rejection of the hypothesis. The study suggests further research with a larger sample and additional variables to more comprehensively assess these outcomes

Deepening the concepts of the study, the literature was reviewed and appropriate research methodology was applied. The study used assessment and correlational research design. The population of the study was employees of the institution (DWCL) and the data was gathered through research questionnaires. The finding of the study demonstrates that employees have a high trust in management competency, integrity and the working relationship and employees also have a high work engagement.
