In response to evolving societal needs and educational goals, this study aimed to revise the Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) Program at Mariano Marcos State University. Utilizing a research and development framework, the study incorporated document analysis, focus group discussions with selected stakeholders, and validation by curriculum experts. Findings revealed significant gaps in resources and curriculum content, including inadequate teaching facilities, unqualified faculty, insufficient funding, and misaligned competencies with TESDA and K to 12 standards in areas like Computer Hardware Servicing and Electrical Technology. Stakeholders highlighted the need for improved course organization, alignment with program objectives, relevant skill integration, faculty development, and a supportive learning environment. To address these issues, a revised BTVTEd curriculum was developed and validated as highly acceptable for implementation. It is recommended that this proposed curriculum be adopted to effectively bridge the identified competency gaps and better serve the needs of students, educational institutions, and industry partners

The study used descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The population were all employees of the institution where the study was conducted. Data were gathered using research questionnaires and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Thus, weighted mean and Analysis of Variance were utilized to analyze the results. The study found that organizational citizenship behaviour, work performance and work ethics of the employees were high. Overall, there was no correlation between organizational citizenship behaviour and work performance and work ethics. However, taking it singly, there was a correlation between organizational citizenship behaviour and work ethics in terms of the moral attitude of employees toward work. No full text
The study aimed to investigate the effect of bureaucratic and humanistic work environments on the work ethics of the employees. To deepen the concepts, the literature was reviewed. The study used the assessment and correlational research design. The population of the study was the employees of the Divine Word College of Laoag. Validated questionnaires were used to gather the data dan the weighted mean and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the bureaucratic work environment of the institution is higher than the humanistic work environment. The work ethics of the employees was also high. However, looking into their correlation, showed that there is no correlation between the work environment and the work ethics of the employees. The variances of work ethics are not attributed to the work environment but they may be caused by other individual or organizational factors. Thus, the current study recommends another study particularly the effect of individual work values on the work ethics of the employees

The study was conducted to develop Contextualized Interactive Learning Materials (CILMs) for Mathematics 1 based on the results of the survey on the need to prepare CILMs and the problems encountered in the preparation and use of instructional materials in teaching Mathematics administered to 148 Grade 1 public elementary school teachers in the Schools Division of Ilocos Norte. Results were analyzed using the mean, frequency count, percentage, and rank.             The findings showed that there is a need to prepare CILMs for all the learning competencies in Mathematics 1. Also, there were problems encountered by them in the preparation and use of instructional materials which could be addressed by the production of a curriculum support material. Hence, the CILMs were developed. Based on the results of the evaluation made by the content specialists, ICT experts, and Grade 1 teachers, the CILMs were found to be very highly valid and very highly acceptable as a curriculum support material for mathematics instruction.             In the light of findings and conclusions, the researcher recommends that teachers be provided with means for internet connectivity and be given adequate professional development experiences in preparing contextualized interactive learning materials; copies of the CILMs may be provided to the school administrators, program heads, and teachers for the adoption of the materials to classroom instruction; monitoring and evaluation on the use of the CILMs be done; documentation on the initial adoption and implementation of the CILMs be done; and similar or related studies to be conducted in other grade levels for  Mathematics

The study aimed to examine the effect of ethical leadership on the work ethics of the employees. To support the theory of the study, literature was reviewed. The study found that the ethical leadership of the administrators and the work ethics of the employees are high. However, the correlation test result suggests that there is no correlation between ethical leadership and the work ethics of the employees. It further asserts that ethical leadership is not necessarily a main predictor of to work ethics of the employees because the work ethics can be caused by other factors. Thus, the hypothesis of the study is rejected. It recommends that further study needs to be undertaken to identify other factors that influence the work ethics of the employees
