Police record management: Identification of the problems encountered by police personnel in the first congressional district of Zamboanga del Norte
This paper primarily sought to determine the extent of effectiveness of police records management in the first congressional district of Zamboanga del Norte. This study employed a quantitative method which included descriptive-survey and descriptive-correlational. There were thirty (30) respondents in the study. Frequency count and per cent, weighted mean, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis H Test, and Spearman rank-order correlation were the statistical tools used in the study. The study revealed that the level of respondents' perception level on the attributes of records management, specifically in records creation, records retention and disposition, records storage and maintenance, records access and retrieval, and appropriate use of technology and records management programs is “very much effective" rating. However, the level of respondents' perception level on archival records is "much effective." Moreover, the problems encountered by police personnel in managing police records are not serious and the extent of the factors precipitating the police personnel problems encountered in managing police records is to the least extent. Furthermore, there was no relationship between police record management attributes and record management problems. It signifies that the police records officers' highly effective management of police records had nothing to do with their less severe management issues. In other words, police officers who claimed to be highly competent at handling police records did not necessarily have major issues doing so.

Effects of the products and services of microfinance institutions on the economic development of their members in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines
This study determined the effects of the products and services of Microfinance Institutions on the economic development of their members in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
The descriptive correlational research design was adopted using a survey questionnaire to gather data. A total of 603 respondents were involved. They were taken from the members of two Microfinance Institutions (CARD Bank Inc. and ASA Philippines Foundation Inc.) in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, who have been a member for at least two years. The study was delimited into the top three barangays with the most members, which are composed of Barangays Parut, Alejo Malasig, and Pedro F. Alviar. Frequency, percentage, weighted mean, Chi-square test, and Pearson r of correlation were used to analyse and interpret the data gathered.
The following were the highlights of the findings of the study. The MFIs are giving their members quality products offered on loan applications and loan features, as manifested by a very satisfied and satisfied rating of their members, respectively, as it is significantly and positively related to their economic development. The MFI members’ economic development in terms of financial, personal, and business status is significantly and highly related to their level of satisfaction with the customer services offered by the MFIs. The MFI’s services offered have met the satisfaction level of their members as expressed by a rating of very satisfied and satisfied on customer service and non-financial services, respectively.
It was recommended that: On the part of Microfinance Institutions, they should consider the financial status of their members in terms of the reasonable service fee, and allow repayment and reasonable penalties for nonpayment/default to lessen their burden on their expenses, microfinance institutions should also conduct community development projects in different municipalities to increase their members' economic development, and microfinance institutions should provide business training to improve or expand their members’ business strategies. On the part of the members, they should pay their payments on time and actively participate in the activities of the MFIs. On the part of future researchers, they may also conduct studies in other places that offer products and services of Microfinance Institutions, and they may also consider other variables, such as their incentives and benefits

Impact of the Divine Word College of Vigan MBA program in Region 1 and Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR), Philippines
This study aimed to determine the impact of the Divine Word College of Vigan MBA program in Region 1 and Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) Philippines for the School Year 2021-2022. Factors included the assessment of the respondent’s age, sex, civil status, nature of employment, and residence. Graduates’ assessment of the level of performance of the DWCV graduate program was expressed in terms of program relevance, faculty qualification, research facilities, classrooms and laboratory facilities, library facilities, and achievable goals. The level of impact of training in the MBA program was measured using five indicators: training and productivity, training on professional development and advancement, training on professional recognition, and life–long skills (socio-economic development). A descriptive survey method of research with a correlational method was employed in the study. A questionnaire was utilized extensively to survey the impact of the Divine Word College of Vigan MBA Program on Region 1 and CAR students. The questionnaire was the main tool used in gathering data. Respondents of the study were the 68 graduates of the MBA program in the school years 2018-2019; 2019-2020; and 2020-2021. The socio-demographic profile of the respondents was statistically treated with the use of frequency count and percentage. Weighted mean was used to determine the level of assessment on the performance of the graduate school and the impact of the training in the MBA program. t-test was used for the correlation of the relationship between the profile of respondents and assessment in the performance of the MBA program; the relationship between the profile of respondents and the impact of training in the MBA program; and the relationship between the assessment in the performance in the MBA program and the impact of training in the MBA program. The overall assessment of the level of performance of the graduate school is “excellent”. The overall assessment of the impact of training in the MBA graduate program is to a “very great extent”.
From school to home: Understanding the experiences of parents and learners in modular learning
The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic brought a major shift in the delivery of instruction. Parents and learners were caught unprepared for this situation. As such, this study aimed to describe the experiences of parents and learners in modular learning. Following a phenomenological approach, 10 parents and 30 learners from the Schools Division of the City of Batac underwent unstructured interviews via home visits, phone calls, and messenger calls. It adopted the Hycner transcription analysis methodology for the data analysis. Findings revealed that parents’ experiences could be described along four themes: multiple roles, learning management challenges, home learning strategies, and support systems. Meanwhile, learners’ experiences were revealed by these four themes: learning preferences, learning struggles, learning strategies, and learning support. Interestingly, these experiences magnify the need for attention to shared responsibility, understanding, cooperation, commitment, and compassion for modular learning to succeed in the context of a pandemic. Furthermore, the findings could serve as a basis for providing comprehensive and inclusive educational policies that facilitate the adjustments of learners and parents in a new learning setup. As such, schools can create and implement more adoptive, relevant, and inclusive institutional plans, projects, activities, and programs for the attainment of optimum learning gains.

Examining the influence of innovative leadership on the innovative work environment
The study intended to examine the effect of innovative leadership on the innovative work environment of the Divine Word College of Laoag. To carry out the study, the literature was reviewed and the study used the descriptive research design. The questionnaires were used to gather the data and the respondents were the employees of the Divine Word College of Laoag. The study found that the innovative leadership of administrators and the innovative work environment of the Divine Word College of Laoag is considered high. However, the correlation test found that there is no correlation between innovative leadership and an innovative work environment. Thus, the hypothesis is rejected. It just means that innovative leadership has nothing to do with the innovative work environment. The innovative work environment can be caused by other factors not included in the current study

The effect of work ethics on work engagement as mediated by generational differences.
The study aims to determine the effect of work ethics on work engagement as mediated by generational differences. To support the theory of the study, literature was reviewed and the study used a descriptive correlational research design. Research questionnaires were used to gather the data and the study found that work ethics and work engagement of employees across the generation are high. The correlational analysis found a significant correlation between work ethics and work engagement along with the three dimensions of work engagement. It is also found that there is no correlation between generational differences and work ethics and work engagement of employees. Therefore, the hypothesis on the correlation between work ethics and work engagement is accepted, however, the hypothesis on the correlation between generational differences and work ethics and work engagement is rejected.
CONCEPT MAP-BASED ALTERNATIVE INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCE (AIR) IN SCIENCE
The use of concept maps allows learners to embark on a cognitive process of integrating new ideas with their existing knowledge. Thus, helping them to organize, connect and synthesize. This, study focused on the preparation of concept maps based on the perceptions of the teacher-respondents along with the crucial topics in Science 4. The concept maps were integrated in the Alternative Instructional Resource (AIR). Research and Development (R and D) was employed in the study. There were 266 Grade 4 teachers from the Schools Division of Ilocos Norte who were involved in the study. A self-perception survey questionnaire which contains the competencies and topics based on the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs), was used to gather data. The data was analyzed using Statistical mean. Results revealed that the four competencies namely; Matter, Living Things and their Environment, Force, Energy, and Motion and Energy and Space, obtained ratings of Much Appropriate (MA). However, only topics under the four competencies with means higher than four were included in the preparation of concept maps. As regards the validity and acceptability of the material, it was rated Very Highly Valid (VHV) and Very Highly Acceptable (VHA), respectively. It can be inferred based on the results that concept maps are effective tools in enhancing understanding of new concepts and retention of information. Thus, teachers in other subject areas are encouraged to design concept maps to develop critical thinking skills among learners.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the perception on the implementation of Republic Act (RA) 10054 also known as the “Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009” among motorcycle riders in Dipolog City, this fiscal year 2022. This study employed a quantitative method which included descriptive-survey and descriptive-correlational. There were one hundred (100) respondents in the study. Frequency count and per cent, weighted mean, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis H Test, and Spearman rank-order correlation were the statistical tools used in the study. Further, it also described the difference in the perception as well as the attitude of the respondents relative to the implementation of the subject law when analysed according to the profile of the respondents. Half of the respondents were 30 years old or younger. It might suggest that the majority of survey respondents were either vicenarians or denarians. It's possible that the selection procedure selected more male responses than female ones. If you take a closer look at the table, you'll see that 47% of the respondents—the people who were chosen for the study—were either college students or recent graduates. While 70% of respondents worked for public and private organizations, the remaining respondents (i.e., self-employed, private practitioners) managed their businesses. It might imply that these respondents were using their cars for work-related purposes. The respondents were "very much aware" that, in addition to being required, protective gear like helmets can shield drivers from serious head injuries.
