Current development and prospect of mushroom industry in Taiwan
本文主要探討台灣主要栽培食用菇類(洋菇、香菇、杏鮑菇、木耳等)及藥用真菌之生產現況、替代介質發展、菇類休閒觀光產業及人才培育、新興菇類發展等,及未來國菇類產業需要發展之方向
水簾降溫設備在菇類產業之應用
近年由於氣候變遷導致以傳統菇舍栽培之菇類產量下跌,進而使得價格高漲,為解決全球暖化導致傳統菇類產業之困境,本所開發應用水簾降溫設施來達到調節環境之功效,試驗之結果顯示應用水簾降溫設備可使供試之香菇品系中有7個菌株可產量超過300 g,而以相同設備栽培木耳與雪耳之最佳產量分別可達324.5 ± 39.8 g與260.7 g,而栽培猴頭菇之產量可達200 g,此些結果顯示應用水簾降溫設備可有效應用於香菇、木耳、雪耳與猴頭菇之生產,透過水簾降溫設備可協助菇農克服氣候暖化對傳統菇舍菇類之影響
(68(2):165-176)Development of a New Powdery Mildew Resistant Hybrid of Melon (Cucumis melo L.), ‘Tainung No.2’
為育成抗白粉病 (powdery mildew; PM) 之甜瓜 (Cucumis melo L.) 雜交新品種,將行政院農委會農業試驗所育成之6 個網紋綠肉自交系的抗病性、果形、果實大小、果皮網紋及果肉厚度、甜度等性狀進行評估。抗病性篩選採用葉圓片人工接種法及調查田間自然發病率,先篩選出具抗白粉病之M15033 和TARI-08874 兩個自交系,並透過雜交育種法育成一代雜交種。接著進行品系比較試驗與區域試驗,最後選育出雜交新品系TARI-M-104。本雜交新品系於2018 年7 月11 日經行政院農業委員會植物品種審議委員會通過取得品種權,命名為甜瓜「台農2 號」。本品種屬於網紋綠肉洋香瓜,對由白粉病菌生理小種1 (Podosphaera xanthii race 1) 具有抗性,惟對生理小種5 (P. xanthii race 5) 則呈現感病性,果實重量約1,300 g、平均糖度為13.2°Brix、果肉厚度約4.0 cm、網紋優美等特性,當果實成熟後果皮會轉為金黃色,並散發特殊香氣,因此甜瓜「台農2 號」具有推廣於設施栽培之發展潛力。
Aim in breeding of a new melon (Cucumis melo L.) hybrid with high level of resistance against powdery mildew (PM) caused by Podosphaera xanthii race 1, a total of 6 green fleshed inbred lines developed by Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute were evaluated for their resistance against PM and major fruit traits. The disease reaction of PM was evaluated by the method of leaf disk inoculation and resistance performance in the field. In addition, the fruit characters evaluated for the new resistance hybrid include fruit shape, size, rind netting, flesh thickness and sugar level. Based on the results of above mentioned characters, two resistant inbred lines, M15033 and TARI-08874, were selected as female and male parents, respectively, and by crossing M15033 and TARI-08874 to develop a hybrid, TARI-M-104, followed by a series of regional tests. The plant variety right of the hybrid TARI-M-104 has been approved and published in Taiwan, which is named ‘Tainung No. 2’. ‘Tainung No. 2’ is resistant to P. xanthii race 1 but not resistant to race 5. It has an average fruit weight of 1,300 g, soluble solids content 13.2°Brix, and green flesh and attractive rind netting. The flesh thickness is about 4.0 cm. Furthermore, the external color of ‘Tainung No. 2’ will turn to golden yellow with excellent fragrance after maturity. This new PM resistant variety has the potential for greenhouse production
(68(3):195-201)Effect of Light Intensity on Lip Color in Oncidesa Tariflor ‘Tainung No. 4 (Snow White)’
本研究目的在探討光照強度對「台農4 號 (白雪)」文心蘭唇瓣花色之影響,評估文心蘭唇瓣在單、雙及三層網等不同遮陰程度 (平均光強度分別為309.92、191.88 及69.23 μmol m-2 s-1) 下的顏色表現與色素含量。結果顯示,在高光強度 (單層遮陰網) 下唇瓣之黃色較深,b* 值也較高,L* 值與a* 值則不受影響;分析唇瓣中花青素、類黃酮及類胡蘿蔔素等三色素之成分變化,發現僅類胡蘿蔔素之含量會隨光強度減弱而下降。推測影響唇瓣黃色色素表現者為類胡蘿蔔素,降低光強度可使唇瓣類胡蘿蔔素下降,唇瓣花色更趨向白色,故可適度增加遮陰以促進「白雪」文心蘭的轉白效果。
This research was aimed at studying how the light intensity influences the lip color of Oncidesa Tariflor ‘Tainung No. 4 (Snow White)’. Plants were grown under three different shading levels (light intensities are 309.92, 191.88 and 69.23 μmol m-2 s-1, respectively) during flowering season, and their lip color and pigments contents were evaluated after flowering. Flowers that opened under higher light intensity had higher b* value, but L* and a* value were not affected by light intensity. The pigments contents included anthocyanin, flavonoid and carotenoid in lips of three treated flowers were analyzed. Data showed that only carotenoid content was decreased with decreasing light intensity. It was speculated that the yellow pigment of lip is carotenoid. The results pointed out that reducing light intensity could lower the carotenoid content of lip and whiten the floral color of ‘Snow White’
