Purpose: We are all busy, especially those responsible for family expenditure. We have lots of pressure in our workspace. Some employees are still doing work from home. Family being converted into an office as well. The problem arises when our small kids cry during a scheduled meeting. Sometimes need someone who can swing the baby’s cradle. Here we demonstrated an automated baby cradle which is useful when our baby cries. We can put our kids into the robotic cradle and engage in other work. When the baby cries, we trigger the run button from our working PC/Laptop, and the cradle starts to swing automatically. Here we used Dobot Magician for this purpose, a famous robot in the education and research sector due to its cost-effectiveness. To drive the robot, we developed an application in C#. It is a small program that is used to swing the cradle. Here we move the robot by the program. So we can change the program quickly, so our sweetheart feels more comfortable inside the cradle. The entire project source code is available on Github. Anyone downloading the project can integrate, test, and continue further improvement. Design/Methodology/Approach: In our research, we used the Dobot magician robot to swing the cradle. One support-like stick is connected between the robot and the cradle to push the cradle. The robot is driven by the program written inside the programming area. The original API is a little bit programming specific. So we provided intermediate programming space to write code as our understandable language. The complete application is developed using the C# language under Microsoft visual studio 2022. We used the vendor-provided dynamic link library to send the command to the robot to reduce development time. Findings/Result: We can integrate the Dobot magician robot into our custom project after developing the complete system. The movement pattern can be changed by changing the program, which may be used for different task execution utilizing the robot. The IDE can also be used for other robots, like UARM metal, a 3D printer, etc. Under the code, any robot can be operated using this interface. It has a programming interface, as well as a command-line interface. We can test, debug and experiment as well. Purpose: In India, CPSEs were established to achieve socio-economic objectives of the nation. Both manufacturing sector and service sector occupies an important position in the development process of an economy. In this context, a comparative study is performed between manufacturing sector and service sector of Indian CPSEs from 2010-11 to 2019-20. Design/Methodology/Approach: Based on resultant data, investment ratios are employed to compute investment returns of the CPSEs. Moreover Fishers ‘t’ test judge the differences (if any) in investment returns between manufacturing sector and service sector. In addition, linear regression equations are employed to inspect the impact of sector-wise investment returns on the aggregate investment returns. Findings/Result: Based on average investment returns, no noteworthy difference is observed between manufacturing sector and service sector in terms of ROCE and ROE. However, there exists important distinction among the same for ROA which implies that manufacturing sector has better utilization of their total assets in generating returns than that of the service sector. ROCE of the manufacturing sector contributes positively to the overall profitability of the CPSEs, while ROCE of the service sector contributes negatively to the overall profitability of the CPSEs. It further observed that the rate of negative influence by the service sector is more than that of positive influence by the manufacturing sector, thereby reducing the overall profitability of the CPSEs at aggregate level. Originality/Value: To identify the important sector in the liberal economic environment, the present study compares average investment returns between manufacturing sector and service sector of the CPSEs in India through ROA, ROCE, and ROE. Purpose: The construction sector is one of the important sectors that play an important role in country’s infrastructure development. The haphazard urbanization, industrialization and population explosion, have driven this sector vulnerable in terms of causing impacts on the environment. The construction process involves several stages and numerous stake holders, while this sector remains unorganised in most developing countries. These unintegrated processes in urban expansion, development and construction lead to a huge amount of emissions that cause environmental degradation. This emphasises the need to establish the use of ‘Green Technologies’ and ‘Green Materials’ in the Construction Sector at least as a beginning to bridge the gap between practices in the allied sectors as well. Design/Methodology/Approach: With a view to examine this possibility, the feasibility of green technologies was considered to be studied, for Eastern Vishakhapatnam, the selected study area, which is a developing potential zone identified for potential integration of Green Technologies in construction processes. A comprehensive literature review to identify the major accomplishments and shortcomings in the chosen field, followed by a pre-feasibility analysis was conducted through an organized site visit during an academic project that included personal interaction with the concerned stakeholders and an assessable questionnaire survey. The notion of this study was to collect the details of similar category projects for the incorporation of select ‘green technologies’ identified from relevant literature studies in domains such as energy, material and waste management, which are known to cause maximum impact on the environment.  This procedure in turn formed the very basis of the overall methodology of this study. Findings/Result: The analysis of outcomes of the survey helped in developing a breakthrough understanding about the stakeholder’s potential and roles in the overall feasibility of integrating the Green Technologies. Nevertheless, the comparison of the prospective projects in the study area, with the existing projects of the same category that have successfully adopted the green technologies abroad, helped to optimize the framework of integrating green technologies, using green materials based on the above-mentioned domains, for the proposed pilot project. It is inferred from the analysis that it is possible to integrate green technologies in the domains of energy, materials and waste management in prospective projects, if certain constraints and challenges related to social, administrative and economic spheres are eradicated thus encouraging Sustainable Development. Originality/Value: Integrated strategy of adopting green technologies with green construction practices, in major identified domains of energy, materials and waste management will fetch new outcomes and lead towards aiding sustainable development. The Anatomy of Human Motivation: Arrays of What they Say, Think, Behave and Act with Reference to Blood Type

    No full text
Purpose: This research sheds light on motivation. Motivation is the key to performance improvement. Despite enormous research, basic as well as applied, the subject of motivation is not clearly understood and more often it is poorly practiced. To understand motivation, one must understand human nature itself and there lies the problem. Blood is the most fundamental nourishment for our bodies. It seems to be that different blood types would react differently & motivate differently. Many other factors also influence our personality same way as motivation. Maybe blood type should be used for more than just matching organ donors, same way may be blood type could also be good for watching which blood type stimulates which motivation type/behaviour & to find which is the best blood type motivation. Objective: The researchers have set the following primary objective and the current study investigates 2 broad research questions: This research aims to examine which blood type stimulates which motivation type/behaviour & to find which is the best blood type motivation. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is based on both secondary & primary evidence. Hypotheses are stated for the various variables selected and analyzed to prove or disprove the same without any errors. The designed questionnaire includes demographic factors and human resource motivation with reference to blood type-related close-ended structured questionnaire in the form of 5 points Likert scale. The primary data are collected from 128 various professionals of different domiciles by using a convenient random sampling technique. The analysis of the research work is carried out with the help of SPSS software (21.0), wherein, descriptive statistics are used to describe the nature of the data. Factor analysis is used to check the commonalities and homogeneous grouping of the factors amongst the variables. Reliability tests are used to understand how reliable the data grouping. A statistical tool like one-way ANOVA is used to find the relationships between the factors. Findings/Result: Previously nobody studied the anatomy of human resource motivation with reference to blood type. The present study made an attempt which blood type stimulates which motivation type/behaviour & to find which is the best blood type motivation. The study is based on primary evidence. With these two epilogues proven we can say that there is a stimulation of different blood types on motivation type/behaviour & the best blood type motivation. The challenge of blood type stimulates motivation type/behaviour is not peculiar to any place or profession; hence the problem is more accentuated. Many industrialists have understood the importance of overwhelming the challenges of Human Resources and other problems related to them, hence the motivation type/behaviour need to be tackled with the weapon of trend and addressing motivational techniques and it is beyond monetary terms for which the blood type stimulates motivation type/behaviour. Research Limitations/Implications: In the present research an attempt is made by the researchers to understand the research gap in the area hence a conceptual model is proposed towards the end of the study and the research goes further to advance significance to discover motivation type/behaviour of individuals & to find which is the best blood type motivation. The researchers also give an insight into the objectives framed. Originality/New Knowledge/Interpretation/Value: Many of the earlier studies have proved that the blood type of individuals does have statistical significance on their personality and behaviours. Similarly, blood type stimulates motivation type/behaviour. Countries like Japan, Korea, Asia etc., have proved that blood type does have an effect on motivation process, theories & behaviours as these countries do believe in the theories of personality and other motivational aspects. Hence, this study helps in concluding that, individuals tend to change their personality and motivation factors to be connected with the blood type rather than in self-fulfilling prophecy in many of the motivational factors. Addressing further, the comprehensive picture is analyzed with the various blood type that associates with the considerable motivation factors and various functions associated to come up with the behavioural aspect of individuals. This study has helped to understand the desire to get good extrinsic, or is it a competitive drive intrinsic? Motivation can be intrinsic or extrinsic (or perhaps both). Paper Type: Present study made an attempt to examine which blood type stimulates which motivation type/behaviour & to find which is the best blood type motivation. The study is based on primary evidence
