The Influence of Leadership, Motivation, and Work Environment on Employee Performance Through Employee Job Satisfaction : A case study of Ms Glow Office Malang, Indonesia
This research aims to describe leadership, motivation, work environment, job satisfaction and employee performance, analyze the influence of leadership, motivation and work environment on job satisfaction, analyze the influence of leadership, motivation and work environment on employee performance, analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance and analyze the influence of leadership, motivation and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction. The sample in this study were 184 employees. The analysis technique uses path analysis. The results of the analysis show that leadership, motivation and work environment affect job satisfaction. Leadership, motivation and work environment affect employee performance. Job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance. Leadership
The Effect of Communication Effectiveness of Subordinate Officers and Direct Compensation on Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction at Malang City Police Resort, Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the influence of superior subordinate communication and direct compensation on job satisfaction, to analyze the influence of superior subordinate communication and direct compensation to organizational commitment, to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, to analyze the influence of communication between superiors and subordinates and direct compensation to organizational commitment through job satisfaction. . The sample in this study were 85 respondents. The data analysis technique used path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that effective communication between superiors and subordinates and direct compensation has an effect on job satisfaction. Effective communication from superiors and subordinates and compensation directly affects organizational commitment. Job satisfaction affects organizational commitment

The terrible state of Nigeria’s road networks has also continued to distort economic activities in the country. Nigerian’s believe that bad roads are the leading causes of road deaths and injuries. However, the goal of the safe systems approach is to ensure that even when crashes occur, they do not result in serious injury or death. It is proven that countries with a road safety strategies have better road safety records than those without a strategy
Innovation of Rice Husk as Resist Agent for Fabric Embellishment: Implication on Waste Management
The study concerned with innovation of rice husk as resist agent for fabric embellishment: Implication on waste management. Two research questions were formulated to guide the study. The study utilised one shot experimental research design to obtain data. It measures only the post-test results and does not use a control group. The population of the study comprises of students of Fine and Applied Art and Home Economics departments respectively in Federal College of Education Kontagora in Niger State. This population was selected because the students carry out practical on fabric embellishment and as such will be able to give valid data.A sample size of fifty (50) was used for the study. A purposive sampling technique was used to select this sample from the two departments. The main instrument for this study was a researcher self-designed questionnaire, which was face validated by statistician and one professor in textile science department in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Reliability of the instrument was determined through pilot study. An internal consistency coefficient of 0.87 was obtained through Cronbach’s alpha test and the findings revealed that the resist agent for fabric decoration was produced from rice husk through the addition of antisol (CMC) which serves as a binder and water to the husk .The production exercise was demonstrated to the respondents. It was also revealed that rice husk is a suitable resist agent for effective fabric embellishment
Implementation of the G*Gold Way Model in Student Character Education: Study of Actualization of Social Reality in Character Education of Students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 11 Kademangan – Blitar
This research is to describing and analyzing the G*GOLD Way Model by describing and analyzing obstacles and supporting factors of the implementation of (in student character building). The analysis used the social theory as the main theory and symbolic as well as conflict theories as to the supporting theories. This research was qualitative research using a social reality approach. Such approach was looking for data of reality event occurred in student’s educational life at schools. This research was conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 11 Blitar located on Jalan Raya Trisula Kademangan-Blitar. The researcher was the main instrument. There were 7 (seven) informants used to interpret and to make the value of the G*GOLD Way MODEL Implementation, through analysis, synthesis, and conclusion of appearing social reality. Supporting instruments used by the researcher were facilities and tools which enabled the researcher to draw complete and valid conclusions or verification of the social reality which was being researched. The data collection of this research used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used procedures developed by Moleong, which were; (1) unit processing, (2) categorizing, and (3) data interpretation. The results of this research have met the specific standard which was suitable with the characteristic of qualitative research, which were credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Results of this research showed that the implementation of the G*GOLD Way model in students character education was presented in learning implementation management, communicative process, students response, learning activities, learning outcomes, and obstacles as well as supporting factors with an estimation of the existing inconsistency of model implementation, conflict and motivation, denial from certain groups, and a lack of social and education system relationship. Based on the results of this analysis, This research and learning innovation of Classroom Learning Society which at habituating students good behavior and increasing student achievement
Utilization of National Government Constituency Development Fund and Its Influence on Transition to Secondary Education in Kirinyaga County, Kenya
This study sought to establish how utilization of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF) enhances transition into secondary education in Kirinyaga County, Kenya. The research used a descriptive research design. The study targeted 19 public secondary schools which had benefitted from NGCDF, 19 principals, 247 teachers, and 12 CDF officials in the County. The study adopted a sample size of 12 schools, which were identified through simple random sampling. The study also adopted a sample size of 12 principals. Teachers were identified through random sampling while community leaders were identified through a census survey. Piloting was conducted in 4 schools in the county. Data was collected using questionnaires for teachers, while an interview guide was used for the principals and CDF officials. Quantitative data analysis was done using descriptive statistics i.e. mean and standard deviation, frequencies and percentages. Qualitative data was thematically analyzed using content analysis and presented using narration and verbatim quotes as appropriate. The findings revealed that NGCDF utilization on teaching and learning resources, physical facilities and school feeding programs and the community’s perception on NGCDF influenced transition. The community’s perception of the NGCDF determined the number of applicants and not all learners applied for the fund. The findings may help the NGCDF managers in the County to improve the community’s perception of the fund and thereby increase allocation and enhance the transition to secondary schools
Influence of School Characteristics on Students’ Discipline in Public Secondary Schools in Machakos County, Kenya
The study sought to find out the influence of school characteristics on the discipline of schools in Machakos County. The study adopted a correlational research design. The target population was the 153 secondary schools in Machakos County. The research used stratified sampling, random sampling and purposive sampling methods to determine the sample size. The study had a sample size of 231 respondents of which 168 were students, 21 principals and 42 teachers. Interview guides and questionnaires were used for data collection. The study revealed that there was a strong positive relationship between guidance and counseling approaches and school discipline (r=0.615, p-value <0.05), and also a significant positive relationship between school type and discipline (r=0.773, p-value <0.05). The study recommended that secondary school administration should enhance identifying and addressing all forms of indiscipline especially vernacular speaking which was observed to be a way of including some learners while excluding others when planning acts of indiscipline
Motivational Management Practice and Teachers Performance Satisfaction in Selected Secondary Schools in Cross River State, Nigeria
This study was designed to examine motivational management practice and teacher's performance satisfaction in selected secondary schools in Cross River State, Nigeria. The study employed a descriptive survey design. The choice of survey design is the most appropriate for measuring the attitude and behavior of a large number of people. The survey ask limited questions of a larger number of people since it is seldom possible to question everyone concerned with a certain social problem, a sample is, therefore, used. The population of the study will be made up of 3145 senior secondary teachers in selected schools in Cross River State, Nigeria as obtained in the Niger State Ministry of Education, Department of Planning Research and Statistics (2020). The study adopted stratified and purposive sampling to select the required respondents to participate in the study. The sample consisted of 319 secondary school teachers. Data for this study was obtained using a researcher’s developed instrument entitled Motivation Management Practice and Teachers Performance satisfaction Opinion Questionnaire (MMPTJOQ). Developed on a 4 point modified Likert type scale. The finding revealed that remuneration significantly relates to teacher's performance satisfaction. It was also found that teachers’ placement has a significant influence on their performance satisfaction
Analysis of the Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic Period on Income of Traders at Traditional Market "Pasar Lama" Banjarmasin, Indonesia
This study aims to find out how the impact of Covid-19 on the income of Traders at Traditional Market “Pasar Lama” Banjarmasin and find out how the steps were taken by Traditional Market “Pasar Lama” Banjarmasin to survive the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses descriptive statistical methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study was done by means of observation and interviews. Sources of data come from several traders who sell in Traditional Market “Pasar Lama” Banjarmasin such as chicken traders (6), fruit traders (6), basic food traders (9), vegetable traders (9), fish traders (5), meat traders (2), food vendors cake (3). The total of all respondents were 40 respondents and the data analysis in this study went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate (1) The impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic for Traditional Market “Pasar Lama” Banjarmasin, are market is getting quiet, people's purchasing power decreases, capital turnover is hampered so that traders experience a decrease in income up to 50% compared to the previous situation. (2) the steps taken by the traders are working in other places, moving places to sell, and reducing their merchandise
The Influence of Personality and Entrepreneurial Motivation on Entrepreneurial Performance through Entrepreneurial Spirit: Case Study of Public / Private High School Teachers in Lumajang Regency
Teachers who have an entrepreneurial personality will be able to be independent, can face life's difficulties, and can manage job opportunities for themselves and others because with a mature personality to face all problems is a good attitude for an entrepreneur. The motivation for someone to do entrepreneurial activities comes from the desire to make a profit, to have good freedom from rules, organizational culture, entrepreneurial performance is also influenced by personal dreams and a sense of independence. The entrepreneurial spirit is the life in entrepreneurship which is basically an entrepreneurial attitude and behavior shown through the nature, character, and disposition of a person who has a willingness to manifest innovative ideas into the real world creatively. Performance is a very determining thing in every business, performance needs to be nurtured and developed in an entrepreneur. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of personality on the entrepreneurial spirit, test and analyze the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on the entrepreneurial spirit, test and analyze the influence of personality on entrepreneurial performance, test and analyze the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial performance, test and analyze the influence of entrepreneurial spirit on Entrepreneurial performance, testing and analyzing the influence of personality on entrepreneurial performance through entrepreneurial spirit, testing and analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial performance through entrepreneurial spirit. This research uses the explanatory research method. The sample used was 243 respondents. The statistical analysis used is the path analysis approach. The results showed that personality has an effect on the entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurial motivation has a significant effect on the entrepreneurial spirit.
