INVESTIGATING THE USE OF PERSONAL PRONOUNS IN POLITICAL SPEECHES: DONALD TRUMP AND IMRAN KHAN
Personal pronouns are not used to convey meaning unlike other content words but they help to portray or convey the perceptions and thoughts of the speakers (Nakkaggwe,2012). The research has been documented to investigate the function of personal pronouns in the political speeches of Donald Trump and Imran khan. The aim of this study is to analyze and compare the function of personal pronouns in political speeches held by former prime ministers: Imran Khan (Pakistan) and Mr. Donald Trump (America).The methodology of the study has been selected on the paradigm of qualitative research. The metadiscourse theory has been formulated in this study and the content analysis framework has been used to analyze the speech and personal pronouns. The maximum variation sampling method has been applied in the study. This sampling approach is better for this study because the speeches are from two distinct cultures by the earlier prime minister of Pakistan, Imran khan and former president of America, Mr. Donald Trump. The Antconc software has been used to identify personal pronouns in speeches. It was discovered that the most populated personal pronoun used in their speeches is we . The least used pronoun by Donald Trump is us and by Imran Khan is the subject singular you . Imran khan most often used singular first person pronoun I usually to show his responsiblity, a sense of personal inclusion, directing the nation's promblems, and connection with their own people. On the other hand, Donald Trump most often used plural first person pronoun our to show a sense of unity, shared responsiblity and collective thinking with the government

Women face various challenges in society, especially within Indo-Pakistani culture. This article aims to highlight some of these issues, as they hold significance for our society where women make up over 50% of the population. If their challenges are addressed, they could become effective citizens. Historically, women were largely confined to household roles and denied their rights. During British India, some progressive Muslim reformers, like Sir Sayyid Ahmed Khan, sought to improve women's social status. They believed that Urdu literature was an effective means to educate and uplift women. Nazir Ahmed was a key figure in this effort.Muhammdi Begum was the first woman to take responsibility for educating women of her time. She wrote three novelettes to raise awareness about women's education and to challenge outdated traditions like child marriage

Altaf Fatima was a brilliant Pakistani urdu novelist, fiction writer and translator. She enriched the literature with many unique novels, fiction collections and translations in a period of more than a half century. In the modern Urdu literary tradition, Altaf Fatima's name is synonymous with narrative structure and plot experiments. Her masterpiece novel is DASTAK NA DO which was published in 1966 by Feroz Sons, Lahore. This is a very wonderful novel of a different kind with amazing characters. Altaf Fatima's immense fame and popularity has been due to this memorable novel of hers. This novel has also been included in the Urdu curriculum. It was translated into English language and also dramatized on PTV. Artistically, descriptive analytical technique has been used and it has a symbolic status but from an intellectual point of view, the facts and bitterness of life are highlighted in this story, which is related to almost every person. The glimpse of our social problems is visible. Geeti Ara failure in love, Sang's bad behaviour with Safdar Yaseen, Amma Begum's attitude towards children, all these the causes and consequences of the class division of our society. These social problems, issues that have been tried to be brought before the public in this novel with the reflection of the nuances of human emotions, love and prejudices are being identified in this article
TO EXPLORE THE LEVEL OF JOB SATISFACTION AMONG SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS WORKING IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS
Background: Working with the full range of communication and its disorders, speech-language pathologists evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. So, it was necessary to explore the level of job satisfaction among speech and language pathologists working in the public and private sectors to rule out any insecurities among them regarding their workplace.
Objectives: To explore the level of job satisfaction among speech and language pathologists (SLPs) working in the public and private sectors.
Methods: The data was collected from speech-language pathologists working in different cities in Pakistan. The sample size was estimated to be 156 speech and language pathologists, with a confidence interval of 95%. The sample size was calculated through an online portal (surveysystem.com). The data was gathered through convenience sampling via an online questionnaire.
Results: 98 of the 156 speech and language pathologists met the inclusion criteria and filled out the questionnaire. 23.5% of speech and language pathologists were working in the public sector, while 76.5% were working in the private sector. Approximately 60% of SLPs working in the private sector were more satisfied than SLPs who were working in the public sector. The main factors included fair amount of work, the transport facility was fairly interactive with colleagues, and supervisors were highly cooperative.
Conclusion: Job satisfaction among SLPs is influenced by factors like salary, transport facilities, colleagues' interaction, and supervisory cooperation, with private sector workers experiencing higher satisfaction
