    Great minds shape the thinking of successive historical periods. Luther and Calvin inspired the Reformation; Locke, Leibniz, Voltaire and Rousseau, the Enlightenment. Einstein’s theories have profoundly changed the way modern men and women think about the phenomena of inanimate nature. Same is factual in respect of Darwinism. Modern thought is most dependent on the influence of Charles Darwin. Darwin founded a new branch of life science, “Evolutionary Biology”. Darwin’s accomplishments were so many and so diverse that it has encompassed not only biology but approximately all fields of knowledge such as literature, history, culture, linguistics, psychology etc. Literary Darwinism is a branch of literary criticism that studies literature in the context of evolution by means of natural selection. Process of Evolution is so profound that even theory of evolution has also undergone a process of evolution. Theory of Evolution is the fruit of wisdom of generations and still this theory is not only reshaping itself but also expanding. Urdu poetry is also greatly influenced by Darwinism.
