    Azad Kashmir is part of formerly princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. Its total area is 5134 square miles. It is consisted of three divisions and ten districts by Administration. Recognition of Iqbal in state of Kashmir is earlier than any other region. In Azad Kashmir there are some acquaintances of Iqbal like Dr. Sabir Afaqi, Dr. Arif Khan, Professor Munir Ahmad Yazdani, Dr. Zafar Hussain, Professor Shafiq Raja and Ghazi Elam-ul-Din etc. Abdul Alum Siddique translate the whole Persian Poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal into Urdu, Sheikh Mahmoud Ahmad translate the Jived Name into English title Pilgrimage of Eternity. The scholars of Azad Kashmir contributed many Thesis of Master of Philosophy and some Thesis of Doctorate in Iqbal Study in AIOU Islamabad. Local college magazines also gave strong foundation to exposed Iqbal study in region. This research paper introduced different dimensions of Iqbal study in State of Azad Kashmir

    The literally services of Asghar Ali Shah spans over more than fifty years. He was a man of profound innovative faculties. By the grace of Allah Almighty, He has proved his artistic excellence in various literally genres such as Hamd, Na’at, Poem, Free Verse Poem, Ode, and Ghazal. He is also one of the greatest religious poetry writers of South Punjab. The subject matter of his religious poetry were those greatest personalities due to them the entire universe was created. Indeed we have been ordained to praise those personalities during prayers and for them the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) prolonged his prostrations and Allah Almighty mentioned their exalted status in the verses of Holy Quran. Asghar Ali Shah has used holy Quran and the sayings of Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) as references in his religious poetry. As it is necessary to refer to these sources while mentioning those great personalities and Asghar Ali Shah did it profoundly well

    Criticism and research on Allama Iqbal's thought, art and personality began in his life. Iqbal is one of the great Urdu poets whose poetry has gained worldwide fame due to his extraordinary thoughts and ideas. Iqbaliat have now become a separate and permanent branch of knowledge. Dr. Khawaja Muhammad Zakaria is an eminent teacher of Urdu language and literature and an eminent researcher and critic. While he made other literary subjects a part of his writings, Iqbaliat is also an important reference for his research and criticism.     Tazkira is an important part of Urdu literary history. Along with the short biographies of the poets, they also present the brief critical reviews about their poetry. Tazkira GULSHAN E HIND is one of the important tazkiras as it was first urdu tazkira written about urdu poets. Before it, all tazkiras were written in Persian. gulshan e hind was written by Mirza Ali Lutf. he initially intended to translate “Gulzar e Ibrahim”, a Persian written tazkira, but later he selected ۶۸ poets to write about. he not only translated but also made many additions in such a way that it became his own compilation. he also made many corrections. In this article, an attempt has been made to present a brief view about the details and importance of tazkira, Gulshan e hind.

    Ahmadpur East was royal residencia of Bahawalpur State. As the Nawabs of State were non-shia so mourning literature could not be brought into the realm of writing. Because the creation of mourning literature could have caused the anger of the rulers. So mourning literature was created but it was limited to the memory of the people. When the Abbasid rulers established this state, there was no place for Husseini Bahman in this area. Many such families migrated from here and even if a few families were present, they would perform their religious rituals in secret. In terms of action and reaction, when the rulers are weak, the rise of mourning literature is seen. With the rise and fall of the state, the rise and fall of mourning literature is seen. The rulers have an indirect influence on poets and literature. Hayat Meerthi, Nafees Fateh Puri, Maulvi Ghous Mohammad, Qazi Ghulam Hassan Mahui and Syed Akhtar Munir are named in the history of Bahawalpur Lamentation literature.     Bahadur Shah Zafar was the last successor of the Taimuride Empire and was a saintly and Sufi King. He was but merely a King for the name’s sake, otherwise, he was known as a remarkable poet. We find the shades of death and despair in his poetry in plenty. Besides having a great affection for the Chishti Sufis; he had a deep affiliation with Hazrat Fakharud Din Jahan Dehlavi. He excessively describes about the Chishtis in his poetry. He composed a long poem in praise of Hazrat Khawaja e Ajmer. In addition to, Hazrat Fakhar ud Din Jahan Dehalvi , he had real affection for his son Hazrat Khawaja Qutab ud Din and his grandson Hazrat Khawaja shah Naseer ud Din alias Kalay Khan and he talks about them quite often in his poetry

    The history of research in Urdu language and literature spans a period of more or less one hundred years. Urdu research in particular has been carried out in two ways. One is the certificatory and other is non certificatory. In both types of research particular topics have been seen in Urdu language and literature. In the field of literature, our tendency has been very much towards personal research. Apart from this, selected topics can be seen in the field of research regarding the Urdu language and literature. In the modern age of science and technology, Urdu research to seem far behind. We need to turn our research towards modern topics, in which new things can be explored in accordance with the requirements of the present times. Especially in the case of language, in view of modern principles of linguistics, research in Urdu is still pending. However, interdisciplinary research is also needed in the field of literature. In the age of technology and especially social media, we have seen a slowdown in the field of research as well as a lack of innovation in topics
