This paper contains a brief overview of Sufi Ghulam Mustafa Tabasum's poems written for children. In this paper, an attempt has been made to look at all the children's poems of Sufi Tabasum from a new angle, especially the social and cultural analysis of the poems written for children, which is also an important part of this paper. This paper provides a trending impression of shedding light on the role of poetry in Sufi mysticism and children's literature

    There is a profound relationship between literature and society. A writer is an integral part of society, and societal behaviors and conditions influence the writer. Both the prosperity and the issues of a society impact a writer deeply. If the society is prosperous, the themes in a writer’s work will reflect that prosperity. Conversely, if the society is beset with problems, those issues will undoubtedly be present in the writer’s themes. A travelogue reflects a traveller’s observations and experiences during their journey. It includes the knowledge, insights, experiences, and emotions gathered during the trip. Some travel writers choose to travel to encompass all possible topics related to a particular region, using their perceptive consciousness to pen down subjects that come within their understanding. Raza Ali Abidi, for instance, travelled from London to the Indian subcontinent for exploration as this region is his own. He was well-acquainted with its culture, society, history, and social dynamics. These themes were ingrained in his consciousness. During his travels, he keenly observed and documented these topics. There is a significant diversity of themes in Raza Ali Abidi's works, and his social consciousness is noteworthy

    It has been a common debate in Urdu fiction that social realism depicted in fiction, seems to be imaginary. Although the scope of the story is limited, but it is related to the mythology based on the dreams and vision of human beings, supernatural wonders, superstitions and religion. In this regard, magical realism has a specific style and technique. In the last few years, the story has also been seen to be related to the facts. In this context, the terms biographical novel and faction were used. It refers to the facts, real political and social events which have been fictionalized specifically in novel and generally in short stories. It has enhanced the worth and scope of the Urdu novel. It connects the novel with history and contemporary era while narrating it parallel with the prevailing history. This paper will present a study of the novels of Asghar Nadeem Syed, structured on such events which influenced the history, politics and society of Pakistan. It is also important to overview the history of Urdu novel to search for those novels which fictionalized the reality based on contemporary important political and social events. In literary criticism, it has been described as closer to faction than to fiction. Most of the events in Asghar Nadeem Syed's novels are not related to personal but to collective life. These events are also related to Pakistan's national life and historical roots, so this paper will also provide an overview of Pakistani history and its different times

    Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi is a major figure in contemporary Urdu literature. A famous poet, journalist, literary critic, dramatist and short story (Afsana) author. He edited several prominent literary journals, including Phool, Tehzeeb e naswaan, Adab e Lateef, savera, naqoosh and his own journal Funoon Qasmi’s stories are steeped in social awareness, societal conflicts, class struggle, the human condition, and the dark side of progress. He highlights different social evils of his time as well as of modern era in his short stories in a different way. His fiction is full of variety, breadth and variety of themes. He was a philanthropist and a believer in human dignity. The most oppressed and miserable class among them is women, who is being exploited by various tricks and excuses. He conveys the message of tolerance, equality, and human dignity. bring peace and stability in the world. Through his fiction, the reader not only meets the people of society but also gets acquainted with the gender conflict arising out of the problems associated with them. The phenomena of God’s duties upon man and human rights are presented in his short stories. The rights of parents, children, neighbours, and women, along with social rights and interreligious harmony, seem to be one of the major subjects of his fiction

The fact is that this condition, resulting from the interaction of nature and environment, is forming the individual's personality. Humans are influenced by what they see in their surroundings. While this effect can be negative or positive, it can also be temporary or long-lasting. Experiences and stimuli derived from the surrounding environment influence human thinking. As a result of this, man adapts himself to the environment or responds to it to a certain extent. When these different human thoughts and social motivations result in the qualities of personal response being united in a person and taking the form of a whole, then it is called personality. Therefore, such a form of mental unity in man that can form his character is called personality

    Sheikh Ibrahim Zauq was among the eminent poets of the Delhi School, who refined the genres of qasida and ghazal with fascinating idiomatic expressions, simultaneous everyday language, and well-placed Persian compounds. The present study examines the stylistic and linguistic use of idiomatic constructions (attractive compounds) and allusions (references and symbolic narratives) in Zauq’s poetry. For this purpose, Kulliyat e-Zauq, Intikhab-e-Kalam-e-Zauq, Aab-e-Hayat, and other reliable literary texts have been used as primary sources. This research reveals that Zauq, through (1) Arabic and Persian genitive constructions, (2) Delhi idioms and phrases, (3) simile- and metaphor-based compositions, and (4) allusions drawn from religious traditions and classical narratives, amassed a wealth of meanings within his ghazals and qasidas. Consequently, his poetry, marked by linguistic purity, structural accuracy, and the ease of everyday expression, remains closely connected to the esteemed tradition of the “Khaqani of India”. This study paves the way for further exploration of the intertextual connections in Zauq’s allusions and the linguistic features of the Delhi School
