The tale of the Four Darvesh occupies a prominent place in Urdu prose due to its narrative tradition and linguistic beauty. This study has made a comparative study of three important translations and compositions of this story: Bagh o Bahar by Mir Aman Dehlvi, Nao tarz e Murassa by Mir Muhammad Hussain Atta Khan Tahseen, and Nao tarz e Murassa by Muhammad Ghaus Zareen. Each writer adopted a style according to the linguistic and cultural background of his era, which reflects the developmental stages of Urdu prose. Mir Aman’s Bagh o Bahar is simple, common sense and conversational in style, which was written in accordance with the goal of Fort William College, namely the promotion of understandable prose. In contrast, Tahseen’s Nao Tarz e Murassa is a very complex, Persian-like and harmonious prose, which is rich in innovative craftsmanship and an abundance of similes and metaphors, which was suitable for people with classical Persian taste. Muhammad Ghaus Zareen’s version presents a moderate style between the two extremes, which has both elegance and fluency. This research analyzes the choice of words, sentence structure, idioms, and rhetorical devices under modern linguistic and stylistic principles. The study clarifies how social and historical factors influenced the style and moved Urdu prose from a complex tradition to a modern simple style. This comparative study reveals the breadth and flexibility of the Urdu linguistic tradition, which can accommodate both simplicity and elegance

Poetry may be written in conjunction with other arts, as in poetic drama, hymns, lyrics or prose poetry. Aristotle defines poetry as an art that imitates; imitation is one instinct of our nature and "the objects of imitation are men in action". He considers comedy as an imitation of characters of a lower type. and tragedy as an imitation of an action that is serious, complete and of a certain magnitude. Poetry is a medium to express our feelings and involvement with our relationships. Poetry is a pure shade of the personality of a poet. This perspective has been applied to Irfan Sadiq's poetry in this article
