Its studies started with Urdu lexicography and grammar writing, however, in Urdu language, there is still a tendency of neglect about it. In the Urdu departments of Pakistani universities and other educational institutions, the weight of literature is heavier than that of linguistics, due to which language and its scientific studies and teaching are either not given full attention or this knowledge is limited to one or two subjects. Furthermore, there are issues like establishment of separate departments of linguistics or lack of formal education as well as lack of linguists, ignorance of linguistics of university teachers and unavailability of linguistic terms and materials in Urdu language, Which are becoming an obstacle not only in the teaching of linguistics but also in the development of Urdu language. In view of these points, the following article addresses the present situation of the teaching of linguistics in Urdu departments of Pakistani universities and discusses the possibilities and problems with their workable solutions, so that in the light of the results obtained and recommendations, teaching and learning of linguistics based on modern principles can be practiced

Several editions of this book have been published so far, from which the popularity of these letters can be gauged. The letters are usually short but most of the letters of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad are unique in the sense that unlike other literary works they No single genre of speech can be named; its position and status cannot be determined by comparing Ghubar-e- Khatir with any particular genre of literature. Muhammad Hassan Askri is a great name in Urdu criticism. He influenced a big sphere of critics with his sagacious writings. In the present article his philosophy has been discussed. In this concept he sees a special difference between a ''man'' and a ''human being''. In his opinion a man has material as well as abstract needs. He is influenced by the external environment and likewise influences the external environment. He becomes the juncture of opposing and conflicting tendencies same time. On the other hand, according to him, a human being is pure, characteristic and inculpable creature whose mental and intellectual capabilities are boundless and who is an epitome of all good virtues. But at times, environment and external factors influence him inversely. But man is born to face and remove all these hinderances to reach the heights of mental and intellectual development. After introducing different concepts about human being Askari discussed in depth the Rosso’s philosophy of human being, which labels human being is pure and inculpable. Rosso’s philosophy is very popular, but Askari refutes this philosophy and prefers the one that keeps in mind the weaknesses and instincts of a common man. Critical and analytical view point has been expressed in order to highlight the said concept.
