اقبال کی مشرق و مغرب سے اثرپذیری
Eastern and western philosophy and literature’s impacts Iqbal have a particular importance in the construction of Allama Iqbal’s ideology. The Persian, Urdu and Punjabi poetry have a marvelous status in world’s literature. The dignity of human is a big factor of eastern poetic ideology. A genius artist can't come into existence at the page of this material world and can't give the deep and rich art to literature without the step by step evolutionary revolution of humanity. In thus way Allama Iqbal is effected by the hundreds of year’s poetic tradition of Persian, Punjabi and Urdu literature and by the philosophical thoughts of western philosophers. In Persian poetry Hakim Sanai first time represents the mystical dimensions, Maulana Rum represents the concept of deep and pure love for God and for humanity. Khwaja Hafiz Shirazi represents high artistic approach. Mirza Bedil’s unique thoughts and Quratul Ain Tahira’s courage and bravery, Iqbal accepts all these impacts of Persian poets. Iqbal is effected by the great Urdu poet Mir Taqi Mir’s poetical deep love, his sense of era and his revolutionary concept of grief, by the great philosophy of Mirza Ghalib and by some other poets like Mirza Dagh, Maulana Hali and Akbarabadi. Iqbal is also affected by great Punjabi poets Baba Bulhy Shah and Sultan Bahu. In the other hand Iqbal have also accepted some western philosopher’s unique thoughts like Goethe, Bergson, Nietzsche, Kant, Hegel, Fichte, Karl Marx and Lenin. In this article the effort is done to analyses the eastern and western impacts on Iqbal’s poetry, in short discussion

Recognized as a key player in the realm of Urdu literature, Sabrang Digest transcended the confines of traditional literary genres, encompassing fiction, novels, and humorous stories.
The narrative explores the publication's origins, evolution, and impact on the Urdu literary landscape. Shakil Adilzadah's editorial endeavors, especially his contributions in Zati Safhah laid the groundwork for the digest's unique character.
Notably, Sabrang Digest distinguished itself by presenting stories that captivated readers from diverse backgrounds. Its success is evidenced by the remarkable sales records, reaching over 100,000 copies in a short period. The digest's ability to engage readers across age groups and socio-economic strata was enhanced by its diverse content, including serialized stories like Bazigar, Janglus and Nakhuda, which blended elements of fantasy with real-world experiences.

Nasim Anjum is one of intellectual and sensitive contemporary writer who potrays the bitter social facts, evils and injustice in human society, bringing forth the new possibilities in urdu fiction.As an eminent colluminist, short story writer and critics, her writings composed of social and feminist sensitivity. Her novels clearly revealed Pakistani society and its obsolete system, problems and diverse aspects of coercion. Social coercion had been the main subject in the novels since nineteenth century. After independence, many novelist focused on the social inequality and exploitation of humans regarding socio۔ecnomic and political situations.In twenty first century, the critical discourse analysis would be discussed in terms of understanding the social realities and sufferings of women. Nasim anjum has a deep insight and realistic view about the gender injustice and violence faced by women in male chauvinistic society. The journal Jareeda published by the Bureau of Compilation, Composition and Translation at Karachi University, holds a unique and distinguished status. It emerged in 1963 with the aim of publishing glossaries of various sciences and arts terminologies. Later, Jareeda expanded its scope to include the publication of scientific, literary, historical, research, and critical subjects in its objectives. The initial 20 issues of this journal contain highly valuable and informative content, while issues 21 to 37 cover scientific, literary, historical, research, and critical subjects.
To establish Urdu as a medium of education, Major Aftab Hassan (Coordinator of the Bureau of Compilation, Composition and Translation, University of Karachi) proposed to Vice Chancellor Bashir Ahmad Hashmi of University of Karachi to establish an institution within Karachi University that could provide resources for research and teaching in Urdu and compile, standardize, organize, and publish terminologies of all sciences and arts. Major Aftab Hassan's proposal was accepted, and in 1957, the Bureau of Compilation, Composition and Translation was established
بلتستان میں اردو غزل کا ارتقا
Baltistan is a very beautiful region stretched amongst the mountain ranges of Hindukush, Himalaya and Karakorum, in the extreme north of Pakistan. This beautiful region is significant for its Urdu language and literature. The tradition of Urdu Ghazal on the cyclorama of poetry in Baltistan is continued with its uniqueness and up-to-datedness. In this research, the beginning of Urdu poetry and it's evolution till 21st century have been analyzed. The poets (Ghazal writers) of Baltistan have, along side the tradition of Urdu poetry, represented their own era and milieu. The Ghazal writers of Baltistan have portrayed the traditional themes in a completely novel fashion while glipses of current affairs and social and political cyclorama can also be seen in their poems

The civilization of Kashmir is as old as human being itself. It is situated in Himalayan range. In past ages it was center of Buddhism and Hinduism. Its golden era was started when it came under Muslims regime. Shah Hamadan played important role in preaching of Islam in this Paradise. Shah miry, Chaks and Mughals rulers uplifted its cultural value but under Afghan and Sikh regime it remains under harsh and oppressive. British sold Kashmir to Maharaja Ghulab Singh only 7.5 million rupees under so called Amritsar treaty. Iqbal’s ancestors were belonged to this valley. Kashmir has eminent position in Iqbal intellectual philosophy. He took active part in Kashmir Freedom Movement during Dograr regime. He emphasized special tribute to Kashmir in his Urdu and Persian poetry as well as in his speeches. Iqbal has visited Kashmir in 1921 for two weeks. Kashmir day was observed under his leadership in 14th August 1931 in subcontenent. Iqbal was also appointed as President of All India Kashmir Commtte. His services for Kashmir was glorious. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has a key role in the development of Urdu language and literature since its inception. Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Shakeel (1929-2016) was one of those renowned linguists who performed their services at Urdu and Linguistics Department of AMU. This paper presents his linguistic writings with special reference to his two books on language and linguistics named Zaban-o-Masail-e-Zaban (1974) and Lisani-o-Tahqeeqi Mutalay (1975). Language, dialects, beginning of Urdu, Daccani Urdu, linguistic issues and future of language are some of his major linguistic writing areas. Some views related to structuralism and language derived from the concepts of Ferdinand de Saussure (1857-1913) may also be observed in his writings. Furthermore, he focused on the social aspects of language. He also analyzed the development of Daccani Urdu from 1375 to 1746. The language formula comprised of Urdu and Hindi named Hindustani presented by Gandhi was also analyzed by Mr. Shakeel. He is of the view that the two languages are very different from each other especially at literary level. Through this article, his language thoughts have been analyzed on the basis of modern linguistic concepts
