The process of making this collective situation of human life memorable by giving it creative colours in the arts is still going on. The peculiarity of poets is that they give the most modern meaning to the ancient ideas of centuries-old man and fill them with beauty and attractiveness in such a way that even though they are all lies, there is no choice but to accept the absolute truth. Talmih is a form of ilm e badih that has the ability to modernize centuries-old events, situations, and conditions and give them a unique sense of meaning. Through allusions, there is the ability to connect stories from the trivial to the trivial and from the important to the indispensable to the present, which classical poets have taken full advantage of. From Vali Decani to Ghalib, the trend of using Persian literature in classical ghazals seems to be equal. An allusion is a combination of one or more words that describes an incident, sign, accident, symbol, story, parable, anecdote, or anecdote related to a particular situation. With the help of this word, a lengthy discussion is shortened into a summary, as if it were wrapped up like a pitcher in a river. In this paper, the references from Persian literature in Urdu ghazals have been reviewed very briefly, which reveals how the Urdu poets have adapted Persian references to Urdu ghazals
