    This article reflects that Mr. Sheerani was very first man in the history of Indo-Pak sub-continent linguistics who with strong arguments said that Punjab is a region where at least two languages are spoken Punjabi amp; Saraiki. This article discusses this idea with new facts and research. The author has tried to make a comparative study of Punjabi and Saraiki phonetics too. He has proved that not one but two languages are spoken in Punjab region, i.e. Punjabi and Saraiki. Although these two languages have some similarities but these are totally different from one another. Both these languages have their own phonetics, syntax and other linguistic characteristics

    Faiz Ahmad Faiz was not only a distinct poet of Urdu and an influential left wing intellectual but a political activist too. He can be considered in the pioneers of Progressive Writers Association that has been taken as the wing of communist writers since its early period. He was an avowed Marxist-communist who even joined British Indian Army to record its resistance against Fascism that was dreaming to rule over Soviet Union. Faiz Ahmad Faiz had also been working for trade unions since his stay in Amartsar. His affiliation with Sajjad Zaheer and somehow with Communist party of Pakistan dragged him in Rawalpindi Conspiracy Case and remained in prison for more than four years. Faiz received Lenin Peace Prize by the Soviet Union in 1962 that was a great and only achievement by any Pakistani poet and left wing political activist.     Doctor Jameel Jalbi is a great writer, a literary, luminary, a historian, a researcher, an intellectual, translator and a critic of highest caliber of the day. The greatest achievement of his life is his work on "Tadveen-e-Mattan" which has become his identity. "Tadveen-e-Mattan" is a form of scientific research in which the published or un-published creative work of an author is searched, discovered, collected and categorized with incessant struggle and diligence to make it meaningful and communicative, for instance, "Dewan-e-Hassan Shoqi", "Dewan-e-Nusrit" and Masnavi "Kadam Rao Padam Rao" are the evidence of his dedication, valor, steadfastness and passion. The editing of Masnavi "Kadam Rao Padam Rao" that is the first known poetic masterpiece of Urdu Literature is a unique contribution to the language and literature. For that matter he has been awarded with the D.Lit degree (that is the highest degree in the world) by Sindh University.
